Beth really came through for us for our winter wedding at Allan House. She created a beautiful floral circular arch, my bouquet, floral rings, boutonnieres, wrist corsages as well as adding greenery to the wine bottles and lanterns on our guest tables. She also, provided pillar candles throughout the ceremony space that really pulled together our whimsically romantic theme. We are including a few of the initial pictures but hope to add in the floral rings and bouquet at a later date. They were gorgeous! Throughout the time leading up to the event, Beth was very communicative with us. We especially were impressed with her quoting process. She sent out a questionnaire and then proceeded to provide a visual and dollar breakdown of her vision for us including possible types of flowers (seasonality could vary the flower type). The initial process really solidified our decision to choose her services. We felt that she actually took the time to think through our needs and budget before we had even signed a contract with her. We would definitely recommend Beth from Exquisite Petals for any of your wedding florals and accessories. read more

I worked mainly with Alex from Exquisite Petals and my experience was exquisite. :) I came to Alex with a tight budget and big dreams and she made everything absolutely perfect, all while staying within budget and limiting the amount of waste. Alex is patient, creative, kind, and realistic and I can't rave about her enough! She helped me determine necessities versus nice to haves and what was most important to us versus what we could give a little on in order to make those important things happen. She talked me through different types of flowers and their pros and cons and pricing, various options for displaying the flowers (Exquisite Petals provides some pedestals and vases for you to rent!), hanging installments, bouquets and boutonnieres, table arrangements, sign arrangements, and really any idea that popped into my head. One thing in particular that I was hyperfocused on was doing some sort of arrangement behind our acrylic seating chart sign to really make the words on the sign stand out. Alex went down numerous rabbit holes with me on this, sketching out and planning various ways we could make this come to life, while staying within our tight budget. Alex also was a huge help in planning our hanging arrangement- I was extremely picky regarding the disco balls and how they looked and Alex nailed it perfectly. Her honest suggestions and guidance throughout the planning process was not only super helpful, but also very refreshing. And huge shoutout for the rental options! We rented the pillars for our ceremony arrangements, the disco balls in the hanging arrangement, all of the vases, and many of the candles. This is so helpful because you end up with a lot of stuff to take home after the wedding, so this limits that a bit, there's less waste, and you save a bit of money renting versus buying. I can't recommend Alex and Exquisite Petals enough! They're subject matter experts in florals and their kindness and willingness to work with you makes them really stand out! I couldn't have asked for a better partner to work with throughout the planning process. read more

Beth is the best wedding/event florist EVER! Reasonable prices for the types of flowers I got, INCREDIBLY helpful with flower names and styles (I had literally no idea) and she can work WONDERS in your budget. She knows about shapes, colors, seasonality, price - just spot on. I was able to give her peacock feathers to incorporate into her work, and she did it better than I ever would have imagined. I'm not a huge fan of "poofy" flowers, and Beth did NOT disappoint - no fluffy flowers in sight! Plus, she's kind of a rockstar. Literally, in a band type of rockstar. Just sayin'. Nothing's more Austin than that. 5 stars! read more

Beth was amazing to work with. Choosing Exquisite Petals to provide floral needs for our wedding is arguably the best decision that we made. We got married in October of 2017. We found Exquisite Petals through a recommendation form our photographer. Before reaching out to Beth, we read reviews and looked at pictures on countless websites. We were happy with the reviews and the photos initially, but I have to say that after working with her I do not think the current reviews/photos do her justice. Beth is very hands on and dedicated to what she is doing. When she promises to make your wedding beautiful -- she means it. She listened attentively, she was extremely reliable and responsive. She was patient as we worked through multiple iterations of the initial proposal and order. I cannot say enough about her customer service. Not only was she easy to work with, but the results of her effort absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. I had a vision board on Pinterest and I had high hopes for my own wedding. However, I knew that in reality, my expectations might be too high (Pinterest weddings are like fairy tales that you only hope to come close to mimicking) so I was actively trying to lower my expectations leading up to our wedding -- I did not want to be disappointed. Beth and her team completely exceeded my expectations. The bouquets were identical to what I wanted but twice the size. The ceremony decorations were lush and dreamy. The receptions was beyond my wildest dreams - HUGE centerpieces, lush trees, hanging greenery. She completely transformed the space into my Pinterest board. Everything was perfect. Not only were the flowers flawless, but Beth was SO dedicated to sticking to my budget. I received proposals from multiple vendors and Beth by far had the best price. I know that she went out of her way to give me as much for my money as she was able to provide. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got that night from guests and continue to get from individuals who weren't even at the wedding but saw photos regarding the flower arrangements and decor. Beth provided: - All personals (bouquets and boutonnieres) - Aisle decor for the ceremony - Row Markers at ceremony - Greenery at Alter - Cocktail Hour Centerpieces - Head table greenery and florals - Hanging greenery over the head table - Centerpieces at reception - including compotes and trees - Candles for tables, the bar, and misc tables at reception\ - Blue thistle for each plate setting - Cake Flowers I would 110% recommend Exquisite Petals. No doubt in my mind that working with Beth and her team will be the best money you spend on your wedding/event. read more

Beth was enthusiatic and precise from the day I met her (via zoom). I am from San Antonio and was planning my entire wedding in another city, but Beth made me feel welcomed regardless. She was referred to me by my wedding coordinator and she did not disappoint. She created the exact vision I had in mind working around my budget. She puts pictures of the flora she will use in her proposal which makes it really come to life. Every guest mentioned and loved the flowers and I felt like the Island Princess indeed. She brought Puerto Rico to the Austin hilltop in Fall! Her assistants also made sure we loved everything on the day of. Beth and her team are one to have on your big day. read more

Beth and the Exquisite Petals team were recommended to us by several people when we initially started planning and it is easy to see why- Beth's creations are absolutely stunning. My mom, who was very particular about our floral arrangements, was floored at how gorgeous they turned out and I received multiple compliments throughout the evening about our flowers. Beth herself is a dream to work with- she listened to my ideas and executed everything perfectly. She was also incredibly patient and flexible with me as our plans evolved throughout the wedding planning process. Do yourself a favor and book with the Exquisite Petals team to receive quality service from an innovative florist that isn't afraid to think outside the box. read more

I was so happy with my entire experience working with Beth for my wedding this past May. Daffodils are my favorite flower, so I was hoping to use them for my wedding, but Beth gave me a heads up 2 months in advance that because spring came early this year, we needed to discuss backup plans in case they weren't available. We ended up having to use that backup plan, and I was absolutely blown away when I finally got to see the finished product on my wedding day! Everything from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the centerpieces and other large arrangements were stunning, unique, and fit exactly with what I had described. I couldn't keep my eyes off them all day, and I received so many compliments from my guests! Anyone looking for a great florist should give Beth a call. She is truly an expert in her craft, and knows exactly how to turn your vision into reality. read more

I was a pretty low maintenance bride...except when it came to flowers. I wanted them to be beautiful and memorable, and BOY did Beth deliver. She was so patient with my many requests, tweaks and questions, while still using her creativity and expertise to create my dream wedding. When I switched the entire "theme" only three months before my big day, she didn't even blink (although I highly recommend you DO NOT do that!). I cannot even begin to explain what a great job Beth did on our flowers for our wedding day! Exquisite Petals is fairly priced for the gorgeous flowers that you get, and the quantity. The flowers were HUGE and they smelled amazing! I love lilies, and the lilies Beth found were so big and gorgeous! Weeks after the wedding, people were still talking about how great the flowers were, and how big and bright they were. The flowers made our day that much more beautiful! Beth was very professional, and was very quick at responding to our calls and emails. We had no idea what flowers we wanted when we went to the initial consult. My husband had a picture in his head of what he wanted the arrangements to look like, and I had an idea what colors I wanted in them. We completely trusted Beth with choosing the type of flowers, and we were more than impressed the day of the wedding when we saw our flowers for the first time. There were flowers everywhere! We had no idea that we were going to get such beautiful arrangements for the price we paid. Even our wedding coordinator was impressed since she had an idea what we had paid for the flowers. I would definitely recommend Exquisite Petals. Beth is very good at what she does, and I think if you check out her website you will see that for yourself. read more

Beth is the best and wonderful to work with. Her work is obviously beautiful, but she is also so quick to reply and doesn't mind questions and =changes. I knew that working with her, our wedding would be in amazing hands and look absolutely stunning We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding due to Coronavirus / COVID-19 mandatory closures, and Beth was so easy to work with, even though we didn't want to reschedule our wedding right away (which not all vendors were willing to work with us). We can't wait to work with you in the future! read more

I should have written this review two years ago, but better late than never, right? Beth was my florist for my wedding in March of 2009. She was a pleasure to work with from our very first meeting. I didn't know much about flowers, but she did an excellent job educating, and help me make a decision. Her prices were reasonable and she was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I couldn't have been more happy with how all the flowers turned out. Guests kept telling me how amazing the tall arrangements were in the reception room. Beth is wonderful - she was recommended to me from a close friend of mine (and bridesmaid) who had used Beth as her florist for her wedding. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint! In fact, I was MORE than ecstatic to see how beautiful my flowers were, especially since I had a pretty unique request for "tropical" looking flowers in the middle of fall (we got married this October). Beth asked me about my budget and what I liked/disliked... with that, she let the inspiration and creativity flow and stayed in touch with me over the next few months to coordinate the exact flowers as well as pick up, etc. for our wedding day. When I arrived at my venue and the flowers had already arrived I squealed in excitement!! They had everything I had asked for (coral roses, succulents, dahlias, etc.) and the arrangement looked like I had spent a million dollars.... and believe me, we did NOT. I want more of my friends to get married so I can recommend Beth to all of them!! Thank you, Beth for making our flowers so beautiful on our big day!! read more

I just had my wedding on October 1st and Beth was recommended by Blue Note Bakery. I have no clue about flowers. Beth calmed my fears and made sure my day was perfect! She put irises, sunflowers, roses, and orchids! SO BEAUTIFUL!! She said "I'm going to give you some color!" Boy did she ever. She didn't stress me out and taught me a lot about flowers that wouldn't keep well for corsages. Thank you so much Beth! read more

Beth was an AMAZING florist. She did my bouquet and centerpieces for our wedding couple weeks ago, and I was very, very satisfied with her. She is very professional and easy to work with, and she definitely know what she's doing. I told Beth when we had our first consultation that I do not like anything 'gardeny' for my bouquet, that I just want some round bouquet with Roses, and she gave me exactly that and more! I am VERY satisfied with my bouquet and got tons of compliment in the centerpieces, and my bridesmaids also got lots of compliments on their bouquet as well. Pricewise, I think Beth is very reasonable and she definitely delivers a very satisfying result for what you are paying for. I will definitely recommend Beth to any brides who are looking for a florist. She is undoubtedly one of the best out there. read more

Beth was so perfect and her team was lovely! She is very down to earth and so accommodating. I planned my wedding in a week at the W hotel.. June wedding.. All of my guests were in shock that someone could create such beautiful floral arrangements!!! On top of being able to create gorgeous works of art, Beth is kind and caring and really just puts you in ease. She's a pro! Thank you, Beth! Wow! I was BLOWN away with how gorgeous the bouquets and the arrangements were. I felt like the flowers really set the mood for the wedding and are a big part of the theme you're trying to perceive. I was going for a romantic/classic theme with peonies, hydrangeas, garden roses, dusty miller, etc. Beth at Exquisite petals was just amazing. She gave me tons of suggestions and ideas that would fit my wedding theme and budget. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride in the Austin area. read more

I have been a terrible procrastinator in writing this review! Beth did the flowers for my rehearsal dinner and wedding back in October. She is AWESOME!!! I loved the flowers and it was depressing that I couldn't keep them around in our house after the wedding since we were going on our honeymoon. I need to upload some of the pictures at some point to show how great they looked. I knew what color I wanted when we started but other than that we talked through what I was going for and decided on what to go with together. I also brought some pictures of flowers that I liked but I think mine turned out better than any I had seen. We decided later on in the planning process to do flowers for the rehearsal dinner, so I just told her the venue, (I don't think I even had an idea of colors), and she had some great ideas and they were awesome. She went with bright, fun colors and put some fruit in the vases as well as some LED lights in the large flower display. I really liked working with Beth as well, she has a very cool, down to earth personality. read more

I found Beth through a referral from my wedding planner. After looking through her portfolio on her site, I knew instantly that I wanted her to do the flowers for my wedding. I was planning to have all of my bridesmaids wear black dresses and different bright colored shoes, so I knew I wanted the flowers to be different too. When I would tell most people about this idea I got funny looks. I think Beth was the only person who "got" my vision and she made suggestions about matching the flowers to the shoes, and it turned out great! Her touches really made everything perfect. Once everyone saw the flowers and the overall look, they got it, but everyone told me they thought I was crazy going with all the different colors as I described. I'm so happy that I had Beth's creativity and talent to trust, because not only did I absolutely LOVE what she did, now everyone keeps telling me how they want to copy my multi-color idea. I kind of gave Beth carte blanche for the flowers and let her know that I trusted her 100%. She met with me to find out which colors and flowers I liked, got familiar with my idea, and honestly she just went from there. I'm so glad that I handed the reigns over to Beth because I never in a million years could have "directed" her to create anything more perfect than she did. She definitely exceeded all of my expections!! read more

Beth was freaking amazing. I came to her about a year in advance and, because I'm also indecisive, changed my colors and what I wanted about three times. She not only put up with every request I made, but was happy to accommodate and the finished product was incredible. My flowers had to travel about 7 hours to get to me, but you would have never have known. Beth did a wonderful job and was also happy to lend me vases and birch wood for free. She was always quick and easy to get in touch with, and has an incredible intuition and knowledge about floral arranging. Highly, highly recommended. read more

I called Beth late in the game, two weeks before my wedding. I was going to do all of my own flowers, but at the last minute, we decided that boutonnieres and corsages would be too much to do the day before the wedding. Thank goodness Beth was able to do them for us! She had another wedding, but she agreed to do these for us. She also made a beautiful head wreath for our flower girl. She agreed to use the same flowers as what I had already chosen. She gave us the extra flowers too. Everything matched very well. The only thing I would have preferred is that the flowers for the boutonnieres and corsages would have been a little smaller. They were a bit too large. Also, the grooms boutonniere exploded as his mother tried to put it on him. They managed to get it on with a needle and thread. Other than that, everything was beautiful and I was so relieved to have them done for us. read more

Exquisite Petals was recommended to us by our wedding planner and we chose them because we loved their lush, romantic style. Understanding that floral was not a top priority for us, Beth was flexible with us and our budget. I was able to give her a few details of what we wanted and the rest was up to her. She delivered beautiful arrangements and bouquets which added a soft, organic touch to our wedding. read more

Beth did the flowers for my daughter's wedding back in May. I cannot express how absolutely stunning they were! Friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were. Beth did such an awesome job on my wedding! I literally gave her a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. So many of our guest loved the arrangement and commented on how the flowers just made the reception so elegant and romantic. They were absolutely PERFECT!! Can't thank her enough!! Beth was able to know exactly what I was wanting and she absolutely delivered! The flowers at my wedding were so beautiful and exactly how I hoped they would look. By giving Beth general descriptions and colors of flowers, she was able to create bouquets and center pieces that just blew me away. I am so thankful to her for her professionalism and calm demeanor before the ceremony because she helped keep my nerves in check. On the day of the ceremony she handled all the delivery and setup which was one less thing for me to worry about. I highly recommend Exquisite Petals for any bride to be. We found Beth on one of the many wedding sites as our Austin wedding was a destination wedding. Our first impression of her was great as she had photos of different varieties of flowers so we could exactly understand what our options looked like. Most other florist either had nothing or had a few of the norms, but not the special ones. We gave her a few photographs of things we liked and told her what we wanted. She really listened to us and took it all in. She also tried to get an idea of the feeling of our wedding and our taste in general. She had several ideas and gave input to explain what worked well together and what would be in-season and not, so she also helped with substitutions. We were on a budget and she came back right where we needed to be rather than $500 more like several others who just tried to push the budget. Well, the outcome was beyond perfect. She did everything we asked and then some. Our wedding turned into a romantic dream because of what she did. My bouquet was everything i had hoped for and more. Guests continued to comment on the amazing floral arrangements throughout the night. I would recommend her to anyone. It's amazing how the perfect flowers can elevate the entire feeling of your wedding. Something else is that I don't know how she did what she did in our budget. Her value is just fantastic. You will not be disappointed. read more

Beth was amazing to work with and the flowers were PERFECT! I literally did not say anything besides 'I love my flowers' for the first 10 minutes of walking into the bridal room at the church. Beth is awesome!!! I love her work. She did the flowers for my wedding and they are absolutely beautiful. She really spends time trying to figure out exactly what you want. She is honest and upfront about exactly what you are going to get depending on the budget and time of year. I planned my wedding on my own and when meeting with vendors I was always weary about the ones that said "yes" to everything I wanted. You don't want that. In the end you will be disappointed. She went above and beyond to get some special flowers for my bouquet that were not usually avaliable in the fall especially in Texas. She also stayed and flipped the ceremony site for a very small fee. When you use her she allows you to use all of her rental items like votives, lanterns etc. That saved a lot of money. She is also just a great person. You will enjoy doing business with her. I would highly recommend her and will be using her for any future floral needs! read more

Beth did a wonderful job on my flowers for my wedding a few weeks ago! I had a great time in our consultation, she really helped me find my vision. All I knew was that I wanted bright, vivid colors & she was able to find everything I was looking for since I'm so terrible with flower names. My bridal bouquet and centerpieces ended up being just stunning & I got many compliments on them. She gave me the option of buying the centerpiece vases for a good price or borrowing them at no extra cost & I chose to borrow, but FYI she has many styles to choose from.
