Gretchen and her team were amazing! I actually contacted a handful of florists before I found Petals, Ink and Gretchen was the easiest person to work with hands down. We did everything over email, which was super nice and convenient for me. She provided me pictures and I gave her some of my ideas as well. She ended up putting together everything beautifully! I had my bouquet, 8 bridesmaids bouquets, 12 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 15 center pieces and greenery for the ceremony. My succulent themed pieces she put together were a huge hit with everyone. She also did my guest favors which were little succulents in tea cups, which were adorable! Gretchen was worth every penny I spent on my flowers. They were exactly what I had envisioned. She delivered everything the day of and it was done beautifully! If you are considering working with a florist for any special event I would a thousand times recommend working with Petals, Ink!

I can't believe I never reviewed Gretchen's work for our wedding back in 2012. She was really wonderful. Several other florists we looked into had minimums for our order that were, you know, half our wedding budget. I said to Gretchen, "I love flowers, but we're having a not-fancy wedding and here's what we can spend." And Gretchen said, "great!" without blinking an eye or making comments as others had about how little we could do with that and how did I feel about using chrysanthemums? Equally awesome was that I described the concept I was thinking of (not in a ton of detail-- just said succulents and yellow things) and said, "I trust you from here" and she made a gorgeous bouquet, unique, beautiful centerpieces, and lovely little buttonieres and corsages. To top it all off, she's just fun to hang around with, was easy to work with, was on time to drop them off at our wedding, sent me a picture of my bouquet the following Christmas, and posts lovely pictures on Facebook to boot. Thanks, Gretchen!

Gretchen and Lennie were fabulous to work with for our wedding. Gretchen took time during our appointment to figure out my style and design the perfect bouquets, boutonnieres, and altar piece. I had no doubt our flowers would turn out beautifully. Gretchen also suggested ways we could be more cost effective with our floral choices, which I really appreciated from a vendor. Would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome, local florist!

Gretchen worked with me on short notice and was able to create and deliver an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, fresh and unique arrangement, exceeding any expectations I had for the amount I paid. I received such compliments and gratitude, which I would like to pass on to her. She runs a wonderful business with exemplary customer service and I will definitely be ordering from her for any floral needs in the future. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

Simply wonderful. Gretchen was kind, creative, communicative, and cost effective during the entire wedding planning process. She took my idea of "soft spring colors, like an English garden" and just ran with it. The florals were even better than I had expected, and she added awesome unexpected touches like poppy pods, rosemary, and lavender. She put together my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, posies for the moms, corsages, boutonnieres, 14 centerpieces, welcome table arrangement, ceremony arrangements, cocktail table arrangements, a sweetheart table garland, and our absolutely gorgeous custom built chuppah. The pictures speak for themselves! Hire her, you won't regret it!

I can't say enough good words about Gretchen at Petals, Ink. We met a few weeks before my wedding, I told her my vision and my budget and couldn't have been happier with my wedding flowers. She was so knowledgeable and easy to do business with. We received so many compliments on the flowers, I can't wait for our wedding photos.

Gretchen captured the exact playful, relaxed, colorful and Southwestern vibe we were going for with our wedding. I had shown her some pictures I liked and she managed to design florals that captured the essence of what I had shown her. She used succulent, cactuses, dried flowers and fresh flowers in wonderful combinations. Everything from the flowers she prepared for my hair, to the corsages, boutonnieres, to the table arrangements were so perfect. I have gotten compliments upon compliments for the flowers in my hair, especially. I never thought I would be the kind of person who dried out their wedding bouquet, but my bouquet was so stunning that I couldn't imagine throwing it away - so it is hanging in our closet as I write this. We also rented the chuppah Gretchen has on hand. it is a beautiful wooden chuppah and she used greenery in a simple, asymmetrical arrangement. Note that the chuppah is not very large and it was a bit crowded for our parents and officiant to stand under - just something to keep in mind if you plan to incorporate that standing arrangement into your ceremony.

There is so much to do that every visit feels like a full experience, not just a quick stop. The farm has a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm, and each month features a different theme, which keeps it fresh and exciting year-round. General admission includes a huge number of activities. There are apple cannon launches, face painting, giant bubble stations, horseback riding, and a petting zoo with chickens, goats, llamas, and alpacas. The live pig races are a must-see and always a hit with the kids. There is also a large bouncing and play zone with slides and plenty of open space for children to run and explore. The creativity and scale of the activities are genuinely impressive. Seasonal events make it even better. Depending on the month, you can enjoy strawberry picking, corn mazes, pumpkin patch festivities, and other unique themed attractions. It truly never gets old. We ended up buying annual passes because if you go four or more times a year, they easily pay for themselves. One small note for parents: it is not very stroller-friendly in some areas due to the terrain, so bring a sturdy stroller if you plan to use one. It is doable, but it can be a bit of a push and pull. 4 stars since the cost of admission per visit can get pricey with even a small family of 4 like us at $22-$25 per ticket, which is why we opted to buy annual passes, which still can add up. Additonally, the uneven terrain for strollers can be a grievance and I also wish they were open later all year around. Some months they close as early as 2pm and stay open no later than 6pm with the exception of a couple of months during the fall season where they extend their hours until 9pm but that's only for a small fraction of the year.

Even though we had chilly weather and a little rain, it didn't stop us one bit. We ended up picking close to seven pounds of fresh strawberries and they were so tasty and juicy. The whole experience of walking row by row and picking the perfect berry was so much fun. There's even a helpful little sign explaining how to pick the strawberries properly so they last longer. *Pro tip, leave a bit of the stem on the strawberry as you pick them, they stay fresh longer. We learned that after the fact, but we'll definitely do it right next time. The farm is huge, around 152 acres of expansive land, which was very green, open, and peaceful. It wasn't crowded at all the day we went, which made it even more enjoyable. The kids had a blast. They have a cute little train ride, a fun bouncing area, and plenty of space for the kiddies to run around. The goats were a big highlight for us. You can buy feed for 25 cents a tiny cup, and we went through four pretty quickly - you might want to grab more upfront because they close at 5 and we didn't get a chance to go back for more goat feed. The setup around the goat area was really nice and whimsical, and there's just so much open space to explore and walk and get fresh air. They also have a small gift shop with ice cream and little goodies, which was a nice touch after being out in the fields. Overall, it was such a peaceful, fun, and memorable day. Beautiful views, great atmosphere, and a perfect mix of activities for both kids and adults. We'll absolutely be back. Easily a five star experience.
