She surprised me on our wedding day with a boutonniere for my father to be placed at our memorial area that was in dedication to him. We hired Zuzu's for our wedding day flowers at Pearl Snap Hall, they did an amazing job!! We originally were going to get married in 2020 but then covid hit. They were so awesome in letting us pause our order till we got a new date and continued to work with us. The lady who we originally had as our design consultant was no longer with the company. So then, Heather took over and she didn't an amazing job. Since so much time had passed, our needs changed some as well. Zuzu's Petals knocked it out of the park! My colors were shades of purple and navy and gold and they captured exactly what I wanted. I met with the team in person one time and the rest was thru emails which made it simple for me. Their prices are really reasonable and the quality and work they do is outstanding. We also rented some items from them to include in our ceremony and the reception and we were blown away with how beautiful it turned out. Highly recommend! read more

Our experience with Zuzu's Jesica was great. She was always kind, professional and curious to learn as much as she could about our vision. We had 2 or 3 in-person meetings and she asked for me to share my Pinterest with her. Anytime I added something new I could tell she'd see and save it. As we all know, weddings get expensive fast and I didn't want to pay more than needed on beautiful plants that were going to die in a matter of days to a week. I told her upfront that I know I have expensive taste on a beer budget. I said I love all sorts of plant species, colors and mixing textures that I know it's possible for me to find things I like and remain in or under budget but will need her guidance and knowledge since I'm not the most knowledgeable knowing all the plant's names. The wedding day came and as I walk up to the venue a bridesmaid ran out to say I need to go look at the flowers, that they're absolutely gorgeous! Quickly I got pulled in all directions but once I finally got the time to see the flowers I was ecstatic! She and her team made my vision come true! The greenery, the beautiful rich colors and mix of textures and she even found little carnivorous pitcher flowers to add to my bouquet! I love those and didn't think we could get them! I was absolutely thrilled! Then I saw the tables. I had brought Greek and roman statues and asked for antique books to be used along with the florals and greenery and she added in different fruits that really looked elegant with the candles and everything else. When I saw her and her assistant, I had to give them both a big hug and let them know how happy I was with their hard work. We received so many complements about their work and how unique it all was. During the planning process, I kept saying "I don't need flowers, it's ok. We can do this without flowers." Partly because I had no idea what sort of flowers I would want for the wedding, and I was trying to be balling on a budget. My "no flowers" mentality immediately changed once I saw the decorations put up by Zuzu's Petals for an Open House at Kindred Oaks. It was game over. Not only did I want flowers, but I *needed* flowers for the wedding and I needed them from Zuzu's. They managed to take my random ideas that I sent over from Pinterest and created something so coherent, unique, and breathtaking. Before the ceremony started, my husband and I took some time to walk around the reception area before the guests arrived. We were so overwhelmed with how lovely the different mixes of centerpieces looked across the tables. I even heard Luis say, "You realize this is all for us, right?" because the decorations were so surreal, and it was hard to believe that something so beautiful was for us. As silly as it is to say, those centerpieces brought a tear to my eye on my wedding day, and thinking back on them now still makes me want to cry. It has been six months since the wedding and my husband and I still are getting compliments on the floral arrangements at our wedding. We could not have been more impressed by the ZuZu's Petals. They were absolutely friendly and active listeners. They asked about our theme and inspirations and patiently went through the pictures I had brought and even gave a brief demonstration of how they would interpret our ideas. I was able to trust in them and they delivered more than I could have ever imagined. They have very skilled technique, great quality, and are very flexible. ZuZu's provided the flowers for my recent wedding at Kindred Oaks and they were absolutely beautiful! My wife worked closely with Heather to pick flowers that both matched the wedding color scheme and also stayed within budget. Heather was extremely helpful in suggesting flower types (which my wife and I had absolutely no idea about) and even sent us photos of the flowers to get approval. We were completely satisfied with the open communication we could keep with Heather and ZuZu's through email and phone, as we were planning everything from California. In the end, the bride and bridesmaid bouquets were perfect (Heather was somehow able to perfectly match the unique "dusky gray" color of the bridesmaid dresses) and the table centerpieces were absolutely beautiful and matched our rustic theme. I cannot say enough wonderful things about ZuZu's Petals, particularly Heather! We booked ZuZu's as part of our all-inclusive package at Kindred Oaks, but would recommend them to anyone! I walked in to our appointment with Heather not knowing what I wanted at all. I don't know much about flowers, other than what I think is pretty or ugly. She asked tons of questions to get the feel of our wedding style, colors, and what I envisioned for the wedding and decor. She had tons of pictures of floral arrangements she had done at Kindred Oaks, so it was easy to envision what we were talking about. Heather listened to what we talked about better than I realized. At one point, I made an off-hand comment about what my grandmother would be wearing, particularly the color - electric blue (our wedding color was red). A month or so later at an open house, Heather asked me if it was OK if she changed my grandma's corsage b/c she was concerned the red & white flowers we had chosen would clash. That made me realize how much pride she takes in her work - even down to the details I, as the bride, wouldn't have noticed. We ended up having to move our ceremony from the outdoor arbor to the indoor pavilion due to the rainy weather. Heather took the flowers we had intended to use outside and made the fireplace mantle (front of our ceremony) look AMAZING! It looked like we had planned to use the fireplace all along! I can only hope that I get to work with Heather and ZuZu's Petals again sometime. She truly helped make my wedding and reception look beautiful, and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone inquiring! read more

It honestly makes me sad to write a 2 star review for this place because I really enjoyed my consultation and I can tell from other reviews they've done great work. They were a recommended vendor from our wedding venue and since I was hoping to find a local shop, I was excited to visit. I had an appointment at ZuZu's Petals for a wedding consultation on Saturday, June 3rd with Sarah, who I absolutely loved. She was great during the meeting, had creative ideas/recommendations and made my family feel super comfortable and welcome. However, I still have not received a quote for services from her, which is so disappointing. She was honest during the meeting that she may not get the quote to us within the week, which was totally fine with us, but 3+ weeks is just too long. I e-mailed her about a week and a half after the appointment asking when I should expect to see the quote and she gave me a time-frame which unfortunately has passed with still no response. The two-star review is for the potential I see in this place but unfortunately, with the response time, it's hard to give a higher rating. read more

My husband, Brian, and I got married on March 22nd at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown, Texas. After seeing some of her arrangements at an open house and bridal expo, we decided to use Dierdre from Zuzu's Petals as our florist. She had the idea of incorporating a lot of succulents into our arrangements and they looked amazing! I got so many compliments on my bouquet. She also decorated the arbor, a wreath above the reception space, bridesmaids/groomsmen corsages and boutonnieres, maid of honor bouquet, and the table centerpieces which looked like flowering branches. Her prices were reasonable and her shop is located on site at Kindred Oaks (but she will work other places), so it was really convenient to meet with her. She was so friendly, easy to work with, and willing to make changes when we wanted or needed. She had some great suggestions that made the wedding really beautiful. We used ZuZu's Petals for our wedding at Kindred Oaks and we loved the service from Heather so much that my husband continues to buy all my flowers from them. Since my husband is in the military and gone often, I found out that he secretly sneaks a few of my vases out to ZuZu's and sets up the delivery so they can reuse the vases that he bought me for our wedding. When they deliver, it brightens my day as the delivery people always stop to talk for a minute. Their flowers are gorgeous and the customer service is top notch! You cannot go wrong! read more

My experience with ZuZu's was not a good one. I gave her a clear budget and repeatedly stated that I could not go over it. During the meeting, she kept assuring me that it would all fit in the budget, and if it didn't she would be glad to work with me to get it within budget. The meeting lasted two and a half hours! When she eventually emailed me, we were $1000 over budget. I emailed her back to suggest cuts and never recieved a reply. If you have a budget, I do not recommend ZuZu's Petals. read more

The flowers were prefect, exactly as I imagined. Zuzu's petals and Heather were extremely easy to work with and the final flowers at my October wedding were amazing. During the first meeting, Heather listened to my vision, looked at the vases I wanted to used and quickly laid out how they would achieve my look. She was extremely flexible and open to different options to stay in my budget and her creativity with flowers was incredible. In addition, all email communications were promptly returned and our final conversation prior to the wedding laid all my fears aside as she walked through what ZuZus would provide and how they would achieve all my asks. Finally, the flowers at the wedding exceeded my vision. The orange and blue flowers were vibrant and the perfect colors. I used multiple different vases on the tables and cocktail tables and they did an amazing job utilizing multiple different vases but keeping a uniform look. I worked with Heather at Zuzu's and she was so amazing! When I went in for a consultation, I had already gone to a few other florists. They would ask me what types of flowers I liked (and I only know like 3) and even after I told them that I was open to other flowers, they would only use the 3 that I stated. When I met with Heather, I told her the same and she actually showed me a ton of different flowers with cool textures and different shapes. She really grasped my vision and I could not have been happier with the turn out! She is really amazing at what she does and she worked with my budget. They always have a smile on their faces and know how to work with you to get what you're imagining in your head made into reality. Heather is especially fantastic!! She did my consultation and knew exactly what to suggest and found pictures of inspiration pieces. She (very!) patiently went through every single detail with me so that I felt completely taken care of and new what to expect. Except that I actually didn't know what to expect because they turned out even more beautiful than I ever thought possible.
