After only a few conversations, Stella was really able to capture what we were going for and provide beautiful floral accents and bouquets. We felt so well taken care of by her and the results are everything we could have hoped for. She is very communicative and proactive in figuring out what exactly we wanted and she more than delivered. Once we provided her with the general color scheme for the day as well as simple guidance like "jewel tones" she was able to extrapolate that into gorgeous arrangements that were beyond what we could have envisioned. She immediately understood the look we were going for with tons of color and texture with a wildflower feel. She designed a stunning floral arch that was installed on the tree that we got married under. Our wedding guests could not stop talking about how beautiful that arch was. It made the MOST gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. She was then able to deconstruct the install and move it to the reception area during the cocktail hour saving us money reusing florals from the ceremony. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were insanely gorgeous and absolutely perfect. They perfectly complemented the colors I had picked and were in the dresses of my bridesmaids. She created the shape I asked for and stayed away from the very traditional structured bouquet like I asked. She also helped us to be creative with use of the bridesmaids bouquets and ceremony aisle arrangements as center pieces bringing a lot of different texture and size to the tables. She installed a beautiful ivy overhang in the reception area helping to detract from the farmhouse feel and create a colorful free spirited garden in the reception area. Tatevic took weeks to return an updated invoice quote to me, which made finalizing my wedding budget VERY difficult. The final invoice that I needed from her, which I paid in full before she had sent to me, was a complete hassle to get. I believe she got me the final invoice 2 days before my wedding. And this was after my wedding planner called her and emailed her several times. Anytime she lost touch or did not send me an updated invoice, she had excuses like, "I left the country." "My dog got sick suddenly." or "I had the flu." Everything had an excuse. To receive her final payment from me, she asked me to meet her somewhere halfway because she lives in Bastrop and didn't want to drive all the way to Austin... To pick up the vases used for the arrangements after the wedding, she came to my home and stayed in the car texting while I loaded the vases into her vehicle. (This is not a joke.) - Also, I had to store the vases in my home for 2 weeks after my wedding because she said she left town and couldn't pick them up. Also again, one of the vases broke in transit and she charged me $20 for it. Bottom line: the flowers were beautiful. (They're flowers, after all.) But because of her lack of communication and prompt attention to my needs, I regret hiring her. I would not recommend this florist, as a Bride you want someone who seems to know how to handle their crap and can juggle everything while still making you feel like you're important. You want someone who puts you at ease! She made me feel like I was on the back burner. Unfortunately, Tatevic made the whole process way more stressful. The only reason we did not fire her was because of the short time we had planning the wedding -I had no other options at the last minute. Besides buy my flowers from the market, I guess- which, in retrospect, I probably should've done. It is possible to find Vendors for your wedding who are both communicative and talented, who are business minded and people minded and still skilled. I found this in my DJ (Infinity Sound Labs) and my planner (Blue Moon Events) but I did not find this in my florist! You can do better, girls! Keep looking. (:
