    I didn't have much of a vision going into this event, and gave Stella very little to work with. Therefore, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the rich, gorgeous colors of her designs! I heard "these flowers are amazing!" probably 100 times throughout the evening, and I couldn't have agreed more. The arrangement on the altar *literally* brought my grandmother to tears! I was someone who didn't have a clue about flowers going into this and I felt in such good, capable hands the entire time. Stella is a total delight to work with and ensures that every last detail is perfect. She brings creativity and excellent customer service to her work. I promise you won't be disappointed!

    WARNING! BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS!! STAY AWAY!! RUINED WEDDING!! I know it's long but worth the read if you are considering her for your wedding day. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stella was recommended to me by my wedding planner and I met her at an open house event at Gabriel springs. I had one meeting with her before signing up to use her as my florist for my wedding. She was extremely difficult to communicate with, I had sent her emails and tried calling for over 2 weeks with simple questions that she would not answer. I told my planner that I was going to cancel my services with Stella and she contacted her herself and finally got the communication flowing again. Stella offered to meet with me at her shop so I could see the flowers. Well all she had were some hydrangeas and babies breath for me to see and NO delphiniums which were to be my center pieces. She had some large white roses off to the side I said I wanted in my bouquet and she added them to my invoice. I had a very basic order with pictures provided. Everything was super simple! Only delphiniums and hydrangeas for all the tables inside and I had sent her photos and she had those same photos on the Pinterest board she made. The day of the wedding arrived 10/04 and while my hair was getting done they brought me in my bouquet. First thing I noticed was that there were none of the white roses in it. My MOH took Stella the bouquet and asked her why and she said Stella looked shocked, pulled out her phone to check the invoice then came running into the bridal suite. Stella began to tell me that the white roses were not available and that the ones that had come in were not pretty. My MOH was shaking her head behind her the whole time knowing that this was a lie based on her reaction outside. I walked out to look at the rest of the flowers and began to cry when I saw my centerpieces. And not good tears. They looked like she had driven there with the delphiniums hanging out of her car window. Where there should have been full bunches of 20+ buds, there were bare stems with 4 or 5 dangling unhealthy looking little flowers. Pictures below. Stella started to tell me that she had to go with what she could find (at this point I was not buying her story). I've seen better ones sold at HEB. Stella then offered me a full refund for the flowers, she obviously knew she completely failed me. I shook my head and told her to speak to my mom since she was the one that paid. I had less than an hour before walking down the isle and I was in just complete shock and didn't know what I could do. Walking down the isle I see that the ceremony flowers were wrong as well. She had my bouquet, the center pieces and my ceremony flowers wrong. I told my mom to go ahead and get that refund because this was over the top bad. We emailed Stella with all of the concerns and issues about what happened with my flowers and we heard nothing to back for almost a week, I contacted my planner and she finally got her to respond to us. Stella was very unprofessional and said many untrue and hurtful things in the email. And that she would not me giving any kind of refund even though she had offered it before. She said that she ultimately has the final decision for what flowers will be used. So basically no matter what flowers you want for your wedding, it doesn't matter because she has the right to change them and do what she sees fit. I'm on the edge of taking her to court over this. I have email proof promising me the flowers I did not receive and witnesses that she offered the refund and photos of the flowers I email her and photos of what I got. No bride should have to deal with this kind of nightmare on her wedding day and if Stella is not professional enough to stand by her word and try to keep future business than this is one that I would never ever put my trust in.     Sixpence created BEAUTIFUL and very UNIQUE flowers for our wedding! Stella was wonderful to work with and I genuinely felt her excitement about our specific flower needs during the consultation. We wanted something pretty unique and got it! Our wedding was held in an event Hall that was part of a public market. Stella use the public market as inspiration for the floral design. Vegetables and fruit were included in the arrangements, it was beautiful and fun (Just like our wedding). Thank you Sixpence!

    Fabulous Props from Stella!

    Stella is an absolute joy to work with. She made the floral process for our wedding so pleasant. I will not be using another florist for events again! I found Stella on yelp after being discouraged from some other vendors...as one would not even return my email after giving my budget and size of wedding. I find this hysterical because I spent twice my budget (my choice and add- on's because I had a new job :-)) and was happy to spend my time and money with Stella at Sixpence. Stella met with me and reviewed my dream, size of wedding, showed me her portfolio, and provided me with a quote which was so easy to understand and customize. For example under bouquet she had three size/price options with very detailed descriptions about the bouquet that I could visualize. She did this for each and every aspect of my floral decor in the wedding. I was able to really customize my florals and they were exquisitely beautiful. Stella let me use some of her props without a charge which really made everything come together and pop beautifully. She set up early, stayed, and broke down the extra florals at the end of my day. She was sweet, kind, compassionate, and never made me feel like a less than bride for spending only a few thousand instead of tens of thousands of dollars. My mother in law, who is shall we say tough to please, spoke of nothing else at the wedding except the flowers! I HIGHLY recommend Stella from Sixpence for your event. She even did my rehearsal dinner florals which were festive and fun-perfect for our venue!

The arrangement was beautiful and very well received by my son and future daughter-in-law. They sent a photo and couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the flower arrangement was. Blackbird Floral will be my go-to when sending flowers in Austin, Texas. I ordered the arrangement late morning and they were delivered that same evening. They also knew the flowers were a gift for a friend's cancer surgery. They have no accountability or compassion. If you're spending serious money on flowers for a special occasion, I'd strongly caution against ordering here. What you see is not what you get. 1st image is what was delivered, 2nd image is what I thought I was purchasing.

Jenny was extremely helpful, and worked with us to ensure our floral needs were met. We wanted coral peonies (a premium flower, so more expensive), and Jenny informed us that the coral color would not be in season for when we wanted it. She worked with us to ensure we understood what we were asking, and how she could accommodate our needs. Since peonies are huge-yet beautiful flowers, she informed us that they would not be ideal for boutonnieres or wrist corsages. She suggested ranunculus (which are like mini-peonies) and I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH THEM! They are beautiful delicate flowers and they worked for boutonnieres more than I could have even imagined! They perfectly suited our theme! We were also able to get centerpiece rentals through Jenny and Texas Blooms, and it was some of the best money we spent! Not only was it comparable to what you would find online price wise, we don't have to store any of the pieces. We also adjusted the amount of centerpieces to lower than the original projection. Jenny was able to work with us to give smaller flower pieces for our cocktail tables instead of the original amount of centerpieces needed. And yes, the card, I also paid for- forget it- they just printed the message ( in TWO languages mixed in), and glued to the candy box. Amd customer service - the worst- they argue that this is okay and saying, quote "The color, variety, type of flowers and greenery can change". I was totally shocked when I received the shipping confirmation from FedEx 4 days before the delivery was scheduled. Long story short, Global Rose swiped the roses not the short way from Miami (which was the case in my last few orders) they shipped the roses directly from Columbia. After the flowers arrived most roses had brown and hanging heads and doesn't look nice at all! I contacted the customer support immediately and there response was: "...this is total normal they could be a little bit dehydrated and I can remove the brown petals if I like..." Really? I have to peel of the petals on 75 roses? No excuse, no refund or replacement? This is what you can expect from Global Rose!
