I begin to panic when the girl at the counter says "hopefully it didn't get tossed, we're notorious for that". I am not shocked that she's even say that. I don't even remember at this point what I responded. Prob something like " no why would it get tossed or just oh nooooo. She then continues to remark that they usually just toss them. Like lady just stop talking. This ain't helping your case! She found it. I do feel hesitant about returning. I might just keep my bag with me in the car moving forward. The dress was fine. Do not come to this place! Very Rude, unprofessional with a severe lack of integrity. Was very confrontational and yelling at my friend and I as soon as we walked in the door to talk about the dress they ruined, telling us to stop talking, threatening to call the police although we did not do anything wrong. We just wanted a refund for the poor workmanship, but the owner did not take any responsibility and blames the customer or dry cleaner for his poor work. Below is the story of what I went through: For my bridesmaid dress, I requested my dress to be hemmed, straps tightened, and the chest area adjusted. The day that I picked it up, stupid me I did not check my dress, assuming that they had done a good job. Imagine my surprise when I saw the hem and then later on the zipper area Please see the pictures). The hem annoyed me the most because I had to walk down the aisle with a raggedy hem. When I came back to store, the owner and another lady at first denied that I got the dress done at their place. I picked up the dress on Friday and came to see them when I was back in town. They also blamed their dry cleaner for the hem and told me to come back in two days. I became suspicious because I researched that dry cleaner does not unravel the hem unless the seams was done badly. So I came back with my friend. Immediately, the owner was yelling and accusatory and said that he didn't believe my story and demanded that I bring a picture from the wedding that showed the hem in disarray. He accused me of being shady because I didn't call him on the day of the wedding, that I brought it in four days after I picked it up, and that the dress was worn. If anyone has been part of the bridal party, you know that the day can be very hectic. Who has time to call their tailor and demand it to be fixed immediately? You just do what you can and continue on with the program. Plus, the wedding was one hour away from the store. Is he going to be able to do anything about it the day of the wedding? He claimed that it was perfect when it arrived at the dry cleaner and both (the owner and the dry cleaner) claimed that I stepped on the dress so that is why the hem became undone. If you look closely at my dress, you can see that there are small parts of strands still sticking out where the hem was still intact. How can I selectively only make about less than 1 cm of hem to become undone? Also, if I stepped on the dress and made the hem to become undone, then the whole bottom should not have any stitch left. But that is not the case. You can see that there are parts of the dress where the stitch is still intact. When I told him that it became undone from the dry cleaning due to bad stitch, the owner claimed that with his skills, you can wash the clothes many times and the stitch will still be intact. I only dry cleaned the dress once so OBVIOUSLY that showed his skills are bad. Plus, all of the other bridesmaid got their dress hemmed as well. They stepped on it throughout the day and hem remained intact. Beside the hem, you can see that they are not professional as well. The zipper area still had loose stitches that they did not bother to make it clean and pretty. I paid $120 ($99 for alterations and $21 for dry cleaning). This place is OVERPRICED WITH HORRIBLE SKILLS. Plus, you should not trust someone who will willingly blame their partner for 20+ years when something goes wrong. read more

Sadly recently , we have really been sadened by the behavior of the elder male white tailor. He used to be kind and always sigificantly polite. We were shocked to hear, the elder tailor, actually threatened to call the police on a very nice and very polite female customer. Only because she complained about the results one of her favorite out fits. He used to always be kind and always nice. Some customers may believe this elder tailor , sadly might have a serious case of PMD or PMC. Some obvious indications are his strict look exhibited . The fixed stare he displays. His sudden desire and urge to say rude ,arrogant sarcastic jokes or remarks. Some could say maybe this elder white adult is really displaying his honest hateful feelings towards very nice and polite customers. Because as most customers know and realize this older male white adult tailor was not born in America, land of the free and the brave. He comes perhaps from some country that the males in that country , really enjoy being rude to female customers. He might sadly even disply symptoms of being rude and arrogant to male customers that are not white. He recently and sadly told a very nice and very polite, male Hispanic , American veteran the following , sad and disgusting words ," I don't like you ". The male Hispanic customer was very sad, and very shocked these offensive words ,came out of the mouth of this elder male white adult tailor. Some believe the elder white tailor might consider natural remedies for his condition. Such as hearing the very pleasant sounds of birds chirping in the early morning hours. Or the very plesant sounds of hearing water slowly dripping on a marble floor. Or the pleasant sounds of a rooster crowing in the early morning hours. Some other suggested remedies to restore the kindness and politness this elder white tailor used to have would be to strive to eat lots of green leafy vegetables. Plus maybe eat some onions and garlic. Some customers sadly have noticed sadly the elder white tailor does occassionaly , appear to exhibit and display the desperate look as a patient enduring over whelmed constipation issues. He might sadly not be aware of over the counter remidies , such as Ex Lax and Beano , for relief. Enclosing : Bad customer service. Sadly some patients with similar symptoms displyed and exhibited are sadly in denial and sadly some sadly refuse to swallow their pride. The good news is, there is hope for these patients. He might consider the fresh smells of pine oil or orange peelings . There is hope for these patients. read more

I'll give this place a 2 just because the guy who owns and runs this place does do a damn good just and this is the second time I've been to him as I'm writing this for a dress I wanted to have a slit added to which he told me was "too much" and "not going to look good" . The first time I came to him was years ago when I was in highschool for a prom dress that needed to be fixed. Everytime I see him he is super sarcastic, disrespectful, and telling me an opinion of his that he has when I do anything or tell him anything. For example I wanted to pay in card so I give him my debit card and he says "no cash" and I'm like "no" and he's like "not good" Sir you should be lucky that I'm even paying you and giving you MY busines/service & that I'm even PAYING YOU ! why does it matter how I pay you that's none of your buisness and why do you feel the need to make me feel bad, emberass me, and make me upset. I would like to think I'm a very kind person and I just don't understand this mans rudeness and passive agressivness and sarcasm towards me when the lady who was in front of me when I first walked in and was also a customer he was speaking perfectly fine too, kind, and normal to her but when he sees me he always tries to make me feel dum and bad as a customer. My wedding dress arrived a couple of months before my wedding, and as expected it didn't fit properly right out of the box. I went to Express Tailoring for some much needed alterations. I knew the alterations would be difficult because the material I chose was hard to work with, but Ted killed it. He took it in at the sides, hemmed it perfectly, fixed the chest and stomach areas so it wouldn't crease. My dress fit me like a glove. He even added a bustle so I could walk and dance with ease as the party went on. It was the best day of my life and a perfect-fitting dress was the cherry on top. Ted is AWESOME. I've been coming to him since high school. I'm probably the pickiest customer he has. Sorry Ted! Even though I have high expectations, his work is absolutely flawless every time. I've never been disappointed. I recently moved to Orange County, and the tailoring prices there are outrageous. I make it a point to come back to Ted. Great prices and FANTASTIC work. I believe he's Eastern European - they are known to be a bit "cold". He's not scolding you or rolling his eyes, that's just his face! haha. He's always been super friendly to me and really nice. I went to Express Tailoring yesterday for some pants alterations, and I must say that I am quite pleased with their job. The personnel was warm and pleasant, and the tailor was quite skillful. They were able to correctly hem my pants to the length I desired and make minor modifications to the waistband to guarantee a comfortable fit. Mr. Ted, is very honest. He is able to explain if he can or cannot do the job. He fixed my friends leather jacket. He fixed the sleeves on the leather jacket. He even placed a zipper on the jacket. The only mishap that occurred a few years ago was a one missing shirt , but they were very apologetic & accommodated us . The staff have been friendly & professional at least to my wife & I . I recommend trying them out next time you are need of dry cleaning.

The edges of the jeans were noticeably faded, and the entire pair was covered in lint. They looked more worn after being "cleaned" than they did when I dropped them off.
