The dress still wasn't cut short enough, and the hem was uneven, so I was tripping over it all night. Yes, I brought the shoes I planned to wear, so she knew exactly where the dress needed to be hemmed. While the sides were taken in decently, she failed to properly adjust the rest of the dress afterward. She also left marks on the material and never mentioned it when I brought it up. I spoke with another alterations place afterward, and they told me the issues should have been addressed and would have been an easy fix. Unfortunately, by the time I found out, I was out of time because of how long this place took for such poor-quality work. To make things even more uncomfortable, when I picked up the dress, she casually mentioned that she had almost ruined it on two separate occasions. That's not something you want to hear after paying for alterations. I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else.

I've typically gone to large box stores or chain menswear shops, but I was referred here by a friend of Yousef, and it was the best recommendation I've had in a long time. Walking in, you can tell this isn't some cookie-cutter operation. Yousef has lots of displays with style cues and arrangements to help spark ideas. I figured we would take our chances and see what he could find. I was pleasantly impressed! We walked in and was greeted right away and asked a couple questions. My son did go in knowing he wanted blue but not 100% set. The guy grabbed a certain blue jacket and my son loved it. Then I asked for a shirt and pants and we also got a bow tie. The whole process took us no more than 20 mins. He did ask my son if he would want to get anything tailored, if so he can do it right away! I was absolutely amazed! That is great customer service in my opinion, especially coming from the owner. Waited the weekend and on Saturday, I picked up my pants. As a kind gesture, and gave me a lint removal roller.
