They sent my registration to the wrong address. I called the DMV who was insanely resilient to providing me with the address. I had to go through every address I have lived at over the past 8 years and finally got to it. The DMV employee told me it was my fault because that is the address they have on file. I just logged into my dmvnv account and that is NOT the case and I would have my registration had Express Smog not sent it to the wrong address. Extremely dissatisfied. read more

Awful. These guys will charge more than most even when you mention discounts anywhere else. I thought this was Jiffy Smog. Smog tests are a money maker. They do not tell you upfront if you changed a battery out recently they cannot test some things. They all do this. Charge you even when their equipment cannot get a read. Worthless Nevada. I digress. Express smog was the most expensive I dealt with by far , in 4 attempts at different places. Never again. Lesson learned and they lost my business read more

Was a long time customer of this place but I've decided to go elsewhere after my experience. I came on a friday morning and I was next in line and was cut off by a truck that floored it out of a parking spot. man working clearly saw me get there before the truck but still served the truck first. after that truck i began to pull out of my spot but once again was cut once again buy an a$$h0le who clearly saw me there before he got there. BEWARE, BEWARE, they do NOT RETEST for free. If you do not pass smog or if you had your battery disconnected prior to testing and did not calibrate enough time before you get tested, they don't warn you about that, they take your money and they DO NOT RESTEST FOR FREE. Go to a reputable smog place and make sure you ask if they retest for free before you get your car smog tested. read more

This place is amazing. Yeah it's small but they get you in and out fast. I needed a smog quick to renew my registration and I went to Dmv without having one, they sent me across the street. I stopped at Express Smog this afternoon and was the 4th car in line, I WAS WAITING APPROX. 20 MINUTES. A man in a silver Honda pulled up, went to speak to the tech. man. I started to pull up since I was the next in line. The tech. guy told me to park again because the man in the Honda was ahead of me. I told guy I was next that the guy in the Honda pulled in at least 20 minutes after me. He shook his head and said he was ahead of me. It was obvious he knew the guy in the Honda and was going to take him before me. This was the first time I was going to use Express Smog and it will well be my last. YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST WOMEN. Does not acknowledge, has no customer service skills, and just very....for the lack of better word.....BITCHY. I called one day and had awful service from some girl, she was so rude and didn't sound friendly at all. I needed to get my smog check done for my car's registration so I came by the next week. I got the most amazing service from an older gentleman. He was so polite and very engaging. It was such a pleasant experience and I'm so grateful that whoever answered the phone that one day was not the one there to do my smog check. I was in and out within minutes and hopped over to the DMV across the street to complete my registration. It was so easy! I definitely recommend coming here and plan on telling all my friends/family to come here for smog checks from now on! Oh and bring cash unless you want to pay the $1 credit card fee. Bad experience at this location on Aug 24, 2019. I get there at 7:10 am to be the first one done. At 7:20 the "worker" gets there, slams his car door shut, glares at me, and says, "Don't get jumpity, I don't open until 7:30." I say that's OK, I know that already. Not a problem, right? Then he opens up his little building, glares at me again, goes inside, and slams the door shut and screams, "I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE GET HERE BEFORE I OPEN!! SON OF A B*TCH!!" I was going to knock on the door and ask what his problem was, but decided, no, he might really have issues, and it is just a smog check, after all. I can go anywhere to have it done. And he was apparently off to a very bad day. Trouble at home, smog person? Don't take your issues to work ... good way to lose business.
