Hello Updating My Review from Google Map Again…read more I am so disappointed about the install. The windshield installed had a chipped edge, surface scratches all over, and during the install they made zero effort to cover the interior of my car so had shattered glass all over the inside. The guy tried to vacuum it with a shop vac, but there's so much glass. It's inside of my vent on top of my stereo screen on the floor of my car. What's even crazier is when I voiced a concern about this is he told me this is how he's been doing it for 10 years and no other customers complained about glass shards all over their car. I find this incredibly hard to believe. I don't know anyone who likes glass shards in the car. Then he told me that I get what I pay for because I was trying to pay a lower price, I was going to get a lower quality job. I have never heard of such a crazy thing! Anybody who has a job should be trying to do their best at their job every day. Even if you were getting paid zero dollars, you should still do your best work. Always! I appreciate the installer being willing to warranty the glass and put in a new one, but due to the mess the first time there's no way I'm going to let him touch my car again. So I called around to a corporate company to quote a new windshield and I found out that their prices are less. So really the whole idea that you get what you pay for is complete nonsense. This guy is charging more than the corporate guys and doing a worse job. I learned my lesson this time. ***Update: when the new company out came to remove this dinged up windshield, they discovered that Azaz used some abnormally thick glue to bond the windshield and there were giant globs of it along the inside hood of the car. Their tools broke trying to cut through the crazy adhesive. PS in case anyone else wants to avoid this experience ASK before the install to cover your car! If you have glass shards inside the car use the car goop to clean it. Change your air filter so you don't breathe in glass shards!!

The price was in line with professional expectations so i am disappointed that the guy who showed…read moreup had crap tools and didn't clean up much. Dropped adhesive on the pavement. Adhesive smudge prints on the door. Didn't even clean the glass.

I had a great experience at the Safelite on south I35 in Austin. I booked the appointment through…read moremy insurance app, but I have also used the online booking through their website, and it's equally as easy to use. My appointment was at 9:30, and I arrived at 9:08. The lobby is quiet, no loud TVs blaring. There is water and coffee available. I got a text at 10:08 saying they were starting service on my vehicle, and it was done by 10:45. A lot of people did arrive after me, and I know the wait time is usually 2.5 to 3 hours when they're busy, so that's what I was expecting anyways. Installation so far looks great. There was a little dirt mark on the fabric of the roof on the passenger side. I will update if there are any problems, but overall I am very pleased!

After agreeing to a price that included an online discount, I was later hit with an unexpected…read moreadditional charge that effectively removed that discount. The initial pre‑authorized charge for the mobile windshield replacement was correct -- but the second charge that appeared the next day was never disclosed, never approved, and never explained. The phone number shown on the invoice, which appears to be the local shop, routed me every single time to a call center. I had to re‑explain the situation repeatedly, only to be told the $100 discount had been retroactively removed. I was promised a reimbursement within 3-4 days. That never happened. What followed was a cycle of complete non‑responsiveness: the "local" number always routed back to the call center, the call center couldn't reach anyone at the shop, emails to the manager went unanswered, and every attempt to get a real update resulted in the same scripted responses with zero actual action. In my experience, the lack of transparency, the unauthorized additional charge, and the inability to reach anyone who could resolve the issue reflect extremely poor customer service practices. Prospective customers should be aware of how difficult it may be to get help if anything goes wrong.
