Great experience overall. Booked appointment online and discussed options for ceramic coverage, tint, and selected a date to drop off. Vehicle was dropped off Monday and ready to pick up the next day! Paint was not in good condition beforehand. Luckily it did not matter, the team did a fantastic job of correction and ceramic application. The condition of the paint now looks better than new! The tint was also applied very well. Before leaving, I was given detailed instructions around expectations and instructions on maintenance of the newly applied ceramic. I Scheduled an appointment to PPF My new car for the earliest date available. A Tuesday car was being delivered on Saturday. While emailing and messaging to schedule my appointment. I was asked to send in a deposit to lock in my appointment for Tuesday the 28th. After my deposit was sent I was then told I was pushed back for another customer to take the appointment instead. Shop Owner contacted me but did not attempt to make this right. All I was offered was the same date I was sent after I sent my deposit to be pushed back a few days. I will say the owner seems to have good intentions but this should never happen. Note: I was at work in the middle of meetings scrambling to send the deposit quickly to avoid losing my agreed upon appointment. deposit was sent within 40 minutes of me being contacted. I was not told my appointment was in process of being given to another customer was told to send the deposit because others were eying the date. I did so in a timely manner and was not honored by this company. I do not recommend spending money with this company if this is how they treat customers. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service. Had my car and my full payment in advance, and didn't even start the job in 10 days. I booked and paid in full for the job ( ceramic coating and ppf install) 3 weeks in advance. Told them I was going away on vacation so they could have my car for the entire time (10 days). They even gave me a completion date earlier than my planned pick up date. Upon returning from vacation I contacted them to come and collect the car and they said they haven't even started it!!! They gave a bs excuse saying they had power issues on a day, and a guy short, but it was just a complete non-sincere empty excuse. Yes I got my money back, but the customer service from these guys was completely lacking. They made empty promises, they are all too happy to take your money, but then don't deliver on their word. Brad goes above and beyond. I decided to bring my Model 3 to him after reading the reviews here. We emailed about what I wanted done and my car delivery date, and he worked with my budget. Once I picked up my Model 3, I drove it directly to him from Tesla. My package was to wrap the whole front, side rockers, and back bumper with Suntek Ultra PPF, then coat the whole car in Feynlab Ceramic Plus coating. He also coated my windows and rims too with the leftover ceramic. Install took about 4 days. Brad texted me pics every day with the progress. Upon pickup, he showed me how to care for it, and handed me a bottle of Feynlab cleaner and a really soft chamois to keep in my car for those unfortunate bird poop days! I was super impressed and the color after he paint corrected it really made it pop! I was so happy that I brought him my old 2012 Ford Focus for him to make-ready detail it for sale. The result was jaw dropping. I've never seen my old car that clean before. He even detailed under the hood. My buyer was blown away when he saw it - "It looks like a brand new car". Wanted to update my review of the self healing ceramic coating Brad and his team at Authentic Details put on my car a little over 1 year ago. I found Brad as I was looking for a shop to do something unique as ceramic coatings are offered by almost every Tom, Dick, or Harry. Brad was one of 2 in the Austin area that offered the self healing ceramic coating and based upon what I read I wanted to give that a shot on my car as I hate swirl marks. I've done intensive detail work myself with orbital and rotary tools as well as done ceramic coatings myself, but given my time has become more valuable I decided to find a professional this round. Brad coated the car in Feynlabs Self Heal lite. Brad and his team took good care of my car and process took a few days. His team paint corrected and put the coating on my car. Since then, I have done nothing but wash and dry the car as usual using a 1 bucket method and meguiars soap, with the occasional wipe down every few months with reload. This car is my daily driver and I've put about 10,000 miles on it this past year. I have 2 kids and my drop off and pickup my 4 year old at school daily, and car is parked outside at work and in the garage at home. The car also sees a few track days a year and many spirited weekend drives on back roads. I do nothing to "prep" my car, I am really looking to see how this coating holds up. The ceramic coating is awesome. It has held up amazingly and water beads up today as it has the first day I got it back. I love it because it takes me 30 minutes to wash and dry since nothing really sticks to the car. It is also great because a good rainfall will wash off any dust on the car and will leave very few if any water spots. Car is washed every few weeks, but honestly looks clean 95% of the time as a result of the coating. Previous cars that I've waxed and tried taking care of regularly were nowhere near as easy as this finish and took so much effort to keep up with (polishing and waxing) regularly it is a no brainer to go ceramic if you find your time valuable. The even better part of the coating is the self healing capability of it. I hate swirl mark's and have owned black and dark colored vehicles which sucked because no matter how often I detailed I almost always saw a swirl mark in one place or another when the cars were clean. With what the car is put through daily, I cant believe I'm saying this but I cannot find 1 swirl mark on the car. My daughter has brushed up to the car countless times with her backpack, I've had people lean up against it while I cringe, and this car gets parked in the closest parking spot...so no extra effort has been put into keeping the car away from danger. Not to mention I am lazy so when I wash the car I use a hose, microfiber Mitt, and 1 bucket of soapy water. With all of this, I am amazed that the coating has done what was promised and kept swirl mark's away. For those with darker cars, this coating should be a no brainer. The hours in your life you will gain back not agonizing and trying to keep swirl marks from your beautiful paint are now back in your days. I'm going to give Brad and Authentic Details a shout out. I have not been compensated in and way, shape, or form from them and have nothing to gain from posting this. I can hands down say I have never trusted any individual with my vehicle as none have given me the confidence to extend my trust. No one besides my wife and I drive my car, I am very protective of it. Not even a valet has has the opportunity to park my car. He's been so great that I've given him additional vehicles of mine and have been a large advocate of his as I am confident he will treat all those who come to him with the utmost respect and kindness he has shown me. I got a new Tesla Model 3 and before I drove it out, I really wanted to get it protected after doing some research. I looked up several retailers but I could never decide on one. After a family friend got his done here and told me his experience, I was hooked. The location was amazing as it is within 5 miles from me and Brad was very quick to respond to my inquiries at any time of the day. Couldn't be happier with the job done. I got the track ready PPF (& luggage protection strip) and a 3-year ceramic coating. I drove it and was very quickly able to see how the hydrophobic coating makes things very easy to clean. I caved - my first yelp review! I had no idea of the available options in selecting a shop for detailing/paint protection in the Austin area, only to discover that I then had to study up on wax/clear coat/ ceramic coating/paint film etc. I finally got the car I wanted (especially the color) and wanted it looking as shiny and sharp as possible for years to come. Brad (owner) took the time to provide me with knowledge on what to look for, how each option works, and then finally narrow down the best solution for myself. This happened over a period of many days due to my schedule. He adjusted as needed to get my car in and even showed up on the weekend for me to take delivery. The details of my experience are matched by many other 5 star reviews on here, but in short - I believe I received a phenomenal result for a price lower than anyone other (highly rated only) shop I could find. I wish I could capture the color as it really looks, but short of shining a led on the paint to capture the glassy finish over the deep red paint with metallic flakes (one of the pics attached) it is impossible to show here. The whole car was immaculately cleaned, then ceramic coated, including the windows, panoramic-sunroof, wheels and the painted brake calipers. She just looks sinfully sexy! I had Brad and his crew work on my vehicle for a ceramic coating. As a pretty anal car enthusiast myself, I had alot of questions about options available and about how Brad would perform these options. We communicated over email and Brad was very responsive with clear detail about what was available, products used, how the treatments go, and what to expect. After having an idea on what I wanted on the budget I chose, I went ahead and dropped of the car at his brand new facility which was impressively squeaky clean. I was a bit worried about timing as the only day I had available to drop of the car was on a holiday, however Brad was more than willing to open his doors for me to drop off the car. We discussed some options after checking out the car and agreed that the best approach was to do some paint correction and then apply a 3 year ceramic coat. Brad kept up communication through the process, updating me if anything needed some extra touches etc. and providing pictures on the progress. My jaw dropped after I saw the car for the first time after the treatment. My car is 8 years old, however with Brad's touches, the car literally looked like it came off the factory floor. I just took my Tahoe to Authentic Details to get it ready for sale. I had a tough stain in the back seat and several paint scratches and door dings. We walked the car and I was informed of the process and possibilities to improve the look of the stains and scratches. I was blown away with the results.
