Lo and behold I was still late to work, but it was all worth it because I noticed this little gem of a shop. I called them and got scheduled for the next week. I got to the shop first thing in the morning, and just before the shop closed I had basically a brand new car! It did take the whole day and was a little pricey, but the kind souls there hit me with a little discount. It was so worth it! I can finally see out of my windows, the tint is so smooth and makes the 20 year old car feel brand new. I got the regulation grade on the front two windows and a medium tint on the rest. I went with the less heat blocking tint because it was a cheaper deal, but the application was so good it's still blocking sun. I would highly recommend getting your tint done here!

Lo and behold she waits until one hour before her team is supposed to show up at my house today to tell me oh by the way she made a mistake and it's going to be $600 for me instead of $500. She is blaming it on the fact she didnt know our home was so far. She had opportunities to punch our address is on Friday, again on Monday and again on Tuesday but she claims she never did until one hour before arrival and now I've wasted 2-3 days of time when I could have gotten this job done elsewhere Monday morning or Friday afternoon last week. I called around to a…read morefew places and got some quotes and found out quickly that my insurance deductible was $999 I found this local auto glass shop in Georgetown, called around 4:30 p.m. and was able to get a quote immediately. I got a quote for $400 for the windshield and a highly recommended $250 calibration fee for calibrating the glass and cameras. Much better than $1,000. They were able to get me in the next day, I just dropped my car off that morning and was able to pick it up around 4:30 p.m.. They really went above and beyond to get me in quickly due to my trip out of town the next day. I also like that they communicate via text, super convenient. They did offer to come to me for $50 more but I was able to make the car drop off work for my situation. I'm on day one with the windshield, So far so good. One thing to call out is that the business sign is easy to miss if you've never been there before. So of course, I passed it and had to do a u-turn.
