Absolutely amazing customer service with a very quality job done at a great value price. So much so, this is the first time in my life I have left a tip for a tint job. I have had many vehicles tinted over the years by many places and I would say this company is THE BEST. Family owned and operated and they know what they are doing. Very down to earth people who give good true Texas customer service. If I had only known of them sooner, I would have taken every vehicle to them. You can trust them to do a good job and back it up if there is any issue. Tint shops like this seem to be a dying breed like so many other things and that is sad so please go support this company if you need a tint on any type of vehicle. My 24 year old truck needs to get re-tinted and no question I will bring it to them. read more

New 2025 Escape need the Front 2 tinted...Super friendly Austin Locals. Was as easy as it gets...Made an appointment online for the next morning....took about 40-45 minutes and I was on my way home. Windows look fantastic. Prices were consistent across the board on price of tint. Upgraded to the Ceramic as it controls heat better. read more

Custom FX Tint - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Pflugerville, Texas

Today I was struggling to find another birthday gift I could surprise my wife with for her birthday. While waiting on my daughter at her salon appointment, I thought about window tint for my wife's vehicle. Why because it's freaking hot here in Texas. Not Middle East hot, but pretty darn close! LoL I used Yelp to get some quotes, one quote couldn't fit me in today. Another quote came in but I already found Custom FX Tint who were able to fit me in today. When I called I believe I spoke with Jeremy that stated he just had a cancellation. We agreed on a time but I wasn't able to make it on the time we agreed on. I called again to let them know I was on my way and running late due to my daughter's salon appointment going over the time we expected. They stated they would be able to fit me in today still. It was awesome news for me to hear because I really wanted to surprise my wife. They were professional and customer friendly both in person and over the phone. They have three options of window tint from Global Window Films. You can choose from QDP, HP CHARCOAL, and QDP Ceramic. I chose the QDP Ceramic film. I know Ceramic is the way to go for sure if you're trying to beat the heat. I have used ceramic with one of my previous vehicles and I remember how it reduced the heat inside the vehicle. You can wait inside like I did. There are four chairs to sit on with one child seat. The total wait time is anywhere from an hour and half to two hours depending on your vehicle. You can also drop your vehicle off and come back when it's ready! Overall, my experience was very pleasant and enjoyed my time while waiting for my vehicle here. I learned when they were finished with my vehicle they're a family owned business with two brothers and their mother. They do offer a military discount upon requesting and showing the proper military or veteran ID. And you can schedule an appointment with them online, it take a $50 deposit that goes towards the cost of the window tint for your vehicle. Pretty awesome job keep it local in my book!! Official completion time for my vehicle which was a 2016 Ford Explorer was honestly in a hour. read more

I highly recommend Custom FX Tint for your window tinting needs. The family owned business has a team that was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. The owners who helped me were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain my options so I could choose the right tint for my car. As a female looking for straight forward honest customer service I really appreciated that there were no gimmicks, no pressure, and no unnecessary add-ons. They listened to how I use my car and gave me a straightforward recommendation that felt honest and right for my needs. Alice did an amazing tint job and got my car back quickly. I would definitely come back and would gladly recommend them to others. read more

Just got my mini van window tinted literally the day before, I was able to make a quick appt in the next morning and they took me in for my emergency window tint before my big vacation road trip. I did see a couple of bad reviews but I'm all about reading it through clearly and I didn't really talk about the quality so I gave them a chance . The tint job was amazing and it's soooo clean and nice. And extremely quick! These did the van literally within 2 hours. Great job guys and thanks! Also no tax! It's been 2 months, it feels! read more

Custom FX has tinted both my cars now and both times they have done a great job. QDP is a great quality tint and they priced it very affordable. For the quality of tint and service, they are the best in town and locally owned. Plus Alice and Alan are great people! Alan even gave me a ride from my house to his business to pick up my truck. I chose the QDP Ceramic shade 33 driver/passenger, shade 18 in the back, & shade 5 panoramic sunroof. See the pictures. I highly recommend the QDP Ceramic for the best heat rejection and clean look on any car. If you have panoramic sun roof, go with shade 5-big difference in heat rejection! read more

Excellent customer service from a family run business. They were courteous, prompt and completed replacing my window tint quickly. I highly recommend this place! read more

I don't normally like to post bad reviews. As a matter fact this is my first ever. The company did a bad tint job on my rear window and refused to fix the issue. If you like bubbles in your tint then this is the place for you. Also, in fairness, I want to add that all other windows are good to go. My car is 5 years old and the tint was done 3 years ago FYI. read more

Absolutely top notch tint shop. Turned out perfect, clean facility too!

I wanted to replace the window tint on one window , After I gave them the vehicle description , they told me it's going to be $65 for the ceramic and $45 for the regular tint. When I got there they told me It's going to cost $110 plus tax on the ceramic. They also have 3 huge potholes at the entrance. These people are crooks , stay away from this place. read more

Great service and Excellent Job. I booked my appointment on internet which is very convenient, immediately I received a confirmation email and the day before a text reminded the appointment. In just ONE HOUR I was out with amazing lifetime guarantee window tint. Highly recommend local family business!!! read more

What an amazing job they did! First of all, Alice is the only female window tinter in the Austin area, so yay for girl power! I was in and out in probably 30 minutes and my windows look amazing. I just needed the front 2 to match the rear and this is the best job I have ever seen. I took a previous car elsewhere in town and the color of the tint didn't really match the rear windows - I called and they gave me the reasoning, but the difference was just a little too obvious for my liking. The other guys were also probably about 3x more expensive than Custom FX. Also, any spots, minor bubbles or anything they warned me about were gone within the same day. No issues at all, and a lifetime guarantee! Everyone was super friendly - I got to speak with the owner Alan for a bit while I waited. Also, while I was checking out, I mentioned that I would have to go home and put a sticky on my steering wheel to remind me to NOT ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS! They returned with a big 'ol piece of blue tape stuck over my window controls - so good! read more

This company is amazing. They did 2 different time consuming graphic jobs for me and rocked them both out of the park. I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism! Thank you again! read more

Since I'm all about family owned businesses, I decided to give Custom FX a try. I must say, I don't regret my decision! The prices are perfect, the location is convenient and they were quick! Oh, and did I mention the awesome customer service? I had the pleasure of speaking with both owners, who were both very passionate about the quality of service they provide and ensuring that I understood the options without up selling like other tint shops. If you're looking for an affordable tint shop that provides quality work, I highly recommend Custom FX! You won't regret it! read more

Allen and the guys at Custom-FX Tint are FANTASTIC! I was searching for a place to get my Acura ILX tinted in the Pflugerville area and I'm happy as ever I found this shop. Allen went over and beyond with stellar customer service by allowing me to see some of the other cars they had tinted earlier on the day I visited them just so I could get a feel for how my car would look before it was finished. Talk about making your customers feel valued, this was showcased at it finest. The job took less than an hour and a half, and I couldn't be happier. If you're in the Pflugerville area and need to have your car tinted, no need to look anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend the guys at Custom FX tint. read more

I took my car to get its windows tinted at another business that had nearly 100 5-star reviews on yelp but it was an absolute terrible job. They removed the tints immediately telling me its as good as it gets and left me wondering if my standards were just too high or was the other company really that bad. Well after finding FX tint through a family member I gave getting my windows tinted another shot. These guys are nothing short of awesome. The work was incredible and there is absolutely zero flaws in the tint. I couldn't be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone! read more

I have been using Allen and his family for many years, and they have never disappointed me on the work or friendliness. Every new vehicle I buy immediately heads to these guys to do the tint. The install has always been top notch and the tint has lasted all the years I keep the vehicles. This time around, I picked up my factory-ordered 2020 RAM 1500 on 9/12. The first call the next morning was to them to schedule the tint work for the front two windows. They kindly worked me in for that afternoon due to my schedule. While there I shot the breeze with them, and then inquired about also doing that massive sunroof that just lets the heat pour in. I figured since it was just about closing time, they'd ask me to reschedule. Instead, they happily took care of it right then. The bill was $270 out the door for all the work using their top of the line ceramic tint. I considered that a good price for how the work turned out, as the truck looks great! read more

This place is amazing. They changed their name recently, but it is the same great people. I have had 5 of my own cars ten there over the last 12 years, add in all the friends and family I have sent there, all extremely happy. Locally/family owned and run, super professional. read more

Alice and her staff did a first-class job on my windows, and they're timely and professional. I'm very pleased with their work and will bring back my other vehicle to have the windows in my new car completed by this team. read more

Stopped by this shop on a whim as a competitor couldn't get me in and what a surprise! Amazing work that was performed quickly and after inspecting the work, it's clear that this shop takes care of their clients and pays attention to the little details. Tint is cut perfectly and tucked below the bottom window line so that the tint will last much longer than how some shops stop above the line where eventually it starts to peel when the window is lowered repeatedly. The price was very reasonable and it had a quality family-owned vibe to it. I will always recommend this shop going forward as it was by far the best experience I've had getting this type of work done in a vehicle. read more

We were looking for a tinting company to tint my son's car windows... he had gotten several price quotes, but nothing was in his budget. I was heading to Round Rock one day and noticed Custom FX Tint, I looked it up on yelp and the reviews were all great! My son called on Monday and they were able to get him in on Tuesday. They were reasonably priced and did a great job! I would definitely recommend them! read more

Great service, wonderful folks who work there, great job on my tent. Highly recommend!!

Custom FX did a great job. This is the third vehicle that I took to them over about a nine year period. Always an excellent job at a fair price. Alice and her husband Alan are nice folks and easy to work with. Alan offered to give me a ride across Austin, but I din't need it. Their products are also the best in town and they will stand behind them with a lifetime warranty to the original owner or purchaser. Class act. Save time looking around and just go to them. read more

The location is convenient and they were able to get me in and out quickly. If I need another tint job done, I'll be coming back here.

Great family team, all friendly and very knowledgeable. The past several years, we have taken 3 vehicles to Custom FX Tint (Tahoe, Accord, just a few weeks ago, F150) and had them install the ceramic tint. VERY SATISFIED with the QUALITY of their work which is the reason why we continue to go back and refer only Custom FX Tint to family and friends. FYI, with our Texas heat, Ceramic Tint is the best option, it does block out the heat. read more

I worked with Alice and Allen many years ago on a couple cars, great work. Then I used Sun Tint a couple times, they were good too but I had some bubble issues they had to redo, which can happen anywhere. I went there for a quote this last time and was going to full metal hi-grade film on all windows for the first time, and wasn't liking how the quote came together and wasn't sold on the film. I went back to Alice and Allen and got the latest full metallic film they have been working with and it's working out well and looks great. They stand behind their work and are the most competitive that I found after some addl. calling around before pulling the trigger. I don't see myself straying from their shop again, and not sure why I did in the past to tell you the truth. read more

These folks do fantastic work! I had the front windows tinted on an older pickup truck two months ago. They were able to perform the work quickly and professionally. The ceramic film they use just can't be beat. I have been in other vehicles with tinted windows and while the light was filtered, the glass radiated tremendous amounts of heat. The ceramic film used by Custom FX filters the light AND rejects the heat. The difference is amazing. I can't recommend these folks enough! read more

Alice tinted my 2019 Honda Civic Si coupe with ceramic tint, including the windshield. She did an excellent job. My car looks great and the decrease in temperature is substantial. Alice also tinted my son's 2011 Nissan Altima about 6 years ago, and the tint still looks great. read more

Excellent customer service. Took in my 2012 Chevy Cruze that had tint installed from these guys the same year. 3 years later the rear window had severe bubbling. I had lost all my warranty paper work since the installation. Custom FX called up the film manufacturer and got my replacement covered through warranty anyways. Saved me $100+.
