This has been my regular spot for both pedicures and manicures for the past few months, and I even drive to Belleville just to visit. The newly renovated space is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service quality has really dropped over the last two visits. During cuticle trimming last time, my skin was cut so badly. I mentioned this to the technician during my most recent visit, hoping for a safer experience, but still ended up with another cut. On top of that, the polish didn't even last a week. My toenails were painted poorly and my fingernails chipped with two nails just two days later. I had a positive review drafted to share before, but after these frustrating experiences, I felt compelled to share my honest feedback. While the updated decor is lovely, I'm very disappointed with the service. read more

I went in on the 16th of July for my birthday. Around noon. The services i asked for were the $65 pedicure (which was good) i just have very ticklish feet. And my hands i asked for an acrylic set. The guy that did my nails originally just started painting my nails with the polish and when i told him that i asked for acrylic set he drilled too far down while prepping and i now have rings of fire on my nails & my cuticles are tore up. My nails still hurt!! The design i wanted was on my ring fingers ( few white brush strokes) for shasta daisies with a dot same color i chose for the rest of the nails... my ring fingers were painted white... my thumb nails are uneven lengths. Wouldnt reccoment this place unless there was someone who was far more experienced/ patient and an active listener... read more

I've been coming here for years, and Rosie is truly amazing. She's consistent, talented, and always delivers exactly what I ask for. The overall vibe of the salon is welcoming and comfortable, and everyone is kind and professional. They respect your time, do quality work, and get the job done right. I usually don't like to complain, but my experience at Expert Nail Salon was terrible. I spent over $100 and honestly felt like I got half-assed service. Example I didn't receive a hand massage, lotion, or cuticle oil--just a quick, basic manicure. I even felt mocked by the regular customers. One of them even joked about me not getting a hand massage. It left me feeling disrespected, like my black dollar wasn't good enough...I hate to say that but something was off. The Icing on top 20 minutes home my eyes was on fire I couldn't even open them!!!!! I pulled the eyelashes off in one sweep so much glue used left my eyes swollen. They always get in the chair quickly and service me well. The workers are pretty nice and my nails are pretty.

I love all the services they provide. My last visit I received a fill and I got a pedicure. Yes I was there for 3 hours but my feet and nails are beautiful My only recommendation is to hire more nail techs. The wait is too long I've been to so many nail salons and I keep coming back to expert nails. I drive 25 minutes to get there and there is a shop 1 mile from my house. They were not welcoming at all. While they're very friendly, they lack SKILL & definitely are overcharging for what they can do. I came on a Wednesday around noon and had no wait so that wasn't a problem for me. I'm new to the area and discovered "EXPERT NAILS" they did an amazing job on my nails and feet, on top of that their place of business is always super clean and tidy. But, I ended up going in today during this snow storm and even though everybody wants to get home, they still serviced me with Excellent customer service! They are far from experts. The shop manager is rude. Furthermore, she lacks multi tasking ability. You ALWAYS have someone start a soak off upon arrival so it's done when a technician is available. AVOID unless you want to sit for hours and pay too much $$$$! Also, the log in system will have you sitting in line you can't see. You sit forever and people walking in that signed in the computer and you don't realize there after a million people ahead of you. read more

$50 for a shellac pedicure. I'm very happy with the service I received. My tech was thorough and detailed. They have a lot of colors options and enough workers that there was no wait for walk-ins. Salon itself is nice and clean. I will definitely be back. read more

OK I saw these guys didn't have many stars or good reviews but it was convenient so I thought I'd give them a try. I had a manicure with the powered dip polish. The manicure was ok and my nails looked good when I left. I noticed he did not do as many dips as other places. So it all chipped off in two days. So very disappointing. read more

Long wait times often, short staffed, but really good work on shellac and dip powders. Mine lasts 2-4 weeks!

Its a new owner and I love them. Its so nice walking in through the door. They also have an electronic sign in, with your name/number, and ask if you've been around covid 19 lately. I could wait three weeks before coming back in for a refill, that's how long my nails stayed on for. read more

Terrible terrible. The lady who did my eyebrows waxed the top and bottom at the same time and ripped out nearly all of them. A different woman who did my pedicure cut my toe nails so close that it was painful and then didn't remove the cuticles all while screaming and yelling at two different people in another language. My feet are covered in nail polish and my eyebrows are gone. I left before they could do my manicure because I was afraid they would screw that up too. read more

Horrible! Two techs were fighting over who got the next customer, there were two of us who came in at the same time. I nodded to the other lady and the two techs started bickering loudly in non-English. While they were fighting it out, I noticed the place was very dirty. Towels on one person were threadbare and grimy. I saw my opportunity to escape while they seated the first lady. I faked a phone call and shot out the door. I scheduled an appointment here because it was close to my house, what a dumb idea. I walked in it was small and dingy and there were only 5 very worn out pedicure chairs. I was told to pick out my polish color and to take a seat. I was directed to a chair that was missing half of the fake leather on it. When I leaned back there was no padding in the chair and I could feel every single piece of metal inside of the chair. I can't say how the actual pedicure was because I got up and left, I am not a snotty person but I get pedicures as a method of relaxation and didn't want to end up with foot fungus and a trip to the chiropractor! read more

Just bad....I got a fill and shellac polish...and the polish was chipping off of my nails the next day! It's been 2 days now and I was able to PEEL the shellac off of all of my nails. The place was empty when I went in...now I know why! read more

Terrible! Very small and not nice looking inside. Very small selection of shellac nail color and it only lasted 4 days. Worst shellac job I've ever had. Started lifting a bubbling on day 2. I picked out my color (light pink) they had ONE! When we got started she informed me that they were out of that color and picked a new one for me. The color was nude but she assured me it would turn pink with more coats. IT DID NOT, nude is what it stayed. I also wanted to get my eyelashes done and they said to come back at 7 because that was when the eyelash lady got there. So I came back at 7 (actually early) and asked again to confirm that she would be there at 7, they called spoke wither on the phone. I waited until 8 min after and said, "So, is she coming??" they replied "oh, she'll be here at 7:30".....YOU WERE'NT GOING TO TELL ME?? I left. So glad! I am sure my eyelashes would have been as crappy as my nails. The best part about this place is that edible arrangements right next door. I treated myself to a delicious smoothie after my horrible experience. read more

This has been my go-to nail salon for about 3-4 years now. It's definitely not the absolute best, I give it 4 stars because of the manager Kim. She is quick & efficient, & has a lot of clients who will only go to her, & wait if she's not available, including myself. If I get a nick in my nail or break it, I come in & she fixes it for free. Daughters went to get nails done. Took 1 1/2 hours and they weren't able to complete acrylic nails. They started the job and then had her wait 30 minutes while they worked on others. She kept telling them she had to leave and they still kept her waiting. But charged for complete process and would give nothing in writing. I went back with one daughter and asked for partial refund, they wouldn't agree. And then yelled at my daughter when she tried to talk. Very rude, no customer service skills, and took advantage of young people. Will drive a little further for better service. read more
