The pedicure itself (not including polish) only lasted 15 minutes which was a little disappointing after waiting so long. My concern is with the environment at the Canton Nail Salon. Since my technician began working there, I have witnessed behavior that I believe is inappropriate. Despite my technician bringing concerns to the owner's attention, nothing appears to have changed. On one occasion, I personally observed a male employee, who I understand is the owner's cousin, rubbing a technician's bare shoulders while commenting that she "felt cool." The technician immediately responded, "I'm married." The interaction made me very uncomfortable to witness. I considered speaking directly with the owner, but I was concerned that doing so might lead to negative consequences for the technician or other employees. I hope management takes concerns like these seriously and provides a workplace where all employees feel respected and comfortable.
