Came here because my usual nail tech is on vacation, and I'm going on a trip in a few days so I wanted my nails to look good. Honestly not super impressed with their work. I came in to get a shellac manicure, and they didn't trim my cuticles whatsoever. They also drilled my nails down so much that the day after I came in my nail broke. Three times with the drill is a bit excessive if you ask me. I leave to go on vacation in two days and wanted a fresh set, but now I have to fix my nails... again. My nail should not break this easily, especially since I haven't even done anything with it. The customer service is so so as well. My nail tech barely talked to me, which I don't mind that much because I'm an introvert, but she didn't really ask anything other than what color I wanted. Overall, the store is very clean and peaceful, but you get what you pay for when you come here. I'm never "cheating" on my nail tech again. read more

As for the guy who did my full set, he was on his phone every 2 minutes, didn't pay attention to detail, asked him to fix the spots he missed which he only did 2, made my nails uneven, and more. Lam did an awesome job and had me in and out quick without rushing through everything. The place I went to before absolutely butchered my nails, and she fixed them literally PERFECTLY. I've been to Holly's nails several times and I always wait too long, even when I have an appointment or am told they can take me right away. I went for a manicure at the end of last week, it was peeling off two days later. I tried to remove the polish at home but it wouldn't budge. I stopped in to ask if I could use a remover to get rid if the poor manicure job, I didn't want any service of any sort. I just wanted my nails to look less crappy headed into the holidays. I was told I would have to wait 45 minutes before I would be helped. I tried to reiterate that I only needed some of their stronger solution on a cotton ball and id do it myself. They were unwilling. the location is convenient for me but I'm done giving them more chances. the people are often nice, but the quality is mediocre at best. read more

I went in spur of the moment since I had just gotten off work and was right there. I was seated fairly quickly but once in the pedicure chair I waited a little while. This was okay though bc they were quite busy and I was just a walk-in. I landed Lily as my pedicurist and I might say I loved her service. My deluxe pedicure was everything promised to be. I've been going here for a while. There's normally not many things that go wrong but my experience today was horrible. I waited for 1 hour before even being sat for my full set and another 15 after sitting down. I was quoted 15-20 minutes when I arrived. The guy who did my nails is the same guy I normally get. Today he was using the drill and continuously caught my skin causing me to bleed and have pieces of my skin peeled back. He was reusing dirty files and tools multiple times as well. The length of my nails is much longer than I asked for and he refused to shorten it even when I asked multiple times. Avoid this establishment. read more

This place always seems busy so I decided to give it a try for a pedicure. The water was cold & the lady across from me said hers was cold as well. She did adjust the temperature after I told her a second time. She rushed through the pedicure ' my feet feel the same as they did before the pedicure. - Hardly any footwork (she spent more time rubbing lotion on my calves). Best nail place around! I'm all the way from wixom but drive out here just because they do such a quality job at normal prices! 25 for shellac manicure and it lasts! A lot of places over change and the nails end up chipping after a week. Holly nails last up to 3 weeks most times! They have a huge selection of colors and sparkles! It was the perfect set and it was the perfect quick flawless set. It was affordable and honestly he seemed like a perfectionist in the best way. This is the best spot to get quick quality service bc I absolutely hate sitting around getting each of my nails done by someone who isn't enthusiastic but this was the opposite. I went Holly's about 2 years ago and was pleased with their work and decided to try them out again. This time the job was sloppy, I had to ask the young lady doing my nails to paint closer to my cuticles as there was still quite a bit of nail showing without polish. A few hours later after i had left, my thumb nail began to peel off. They fixed it free of charge, but now the rest of them are coming off less than a week later. While the place may seem nice and upscale, they have HORRIBLE customer service. I just moved to the Canton area not too long ago and decided to give this place a try. I went in for a shellac manicure, and granted it was a Saturday, naturally very busy. I was barely acknowledged when I walked in and once I was, it was just to have a seat. The lady who did my nails never said hello, hi, bye, thank you, nothing. And when I left, $25-something later, plus tip, it was a half ass job and lasted barely a week! Since then, I have given them 2 more tries to impress me and each time was worse than the time before. The staff is very rude and all together, a very unpleasant experience. I rarely write a poor review but I'm still in pain from the cut I got on my big toe from a pedicure at Holly's Nails today. My nail tech was Vietnamese (nothing wrong with that) and spoke almost no English at all (very inconvenient). I was going to get a manicure too, but I was nervous after the first injury so I just had her do a polish change. I went to Holly's as a walk in and had a great experience. My manicurist was named Lam and she did a very careful job making sure my dark Shellac color looked just right. I don't get my nails done often... because I can't afford to. But when I do it's a real treat to myself. Today is my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to a pedicure because my feet are in desperate NEED. I walked in at 5:30. And I left at 5:50 with all the same calluses on my feet that I came in with. I just want to cry because I feel so sick to my stomach for paying $46 to soak my wet in water, slap some lotion on and paint my nails. I could have done that myself. I was incredibly disappointed in the service here. I've been getting shellac for about a year now and I've never had someone do so terribly. First off, she used the nail drill/sander to remove my shellac instead of letting them soak in acetone like they're supposed to. Second, she rushed through and got polish on my skin, didn't clean under my nails, and did a terrible cuticle job cleaning up the skin around my nails. She gave very minimal effort in the motioning part, even adding water to the lotion before rubbing it on my hands? My nails ended up having jagged, uneven edges and tips. The owner was nice but seemed too rushed to deal with any of this for me. I took pictures to display but can't seem to figure out how to post them. I will not be returning to this place and I would not recommend this to anyone who likes their nails and wants them to look good. read more

I have been going to Holly's Nails for over 8 years now, I am a regular customer and have a standing appointment every two weeks. It was recommended by a friend and I was so happy, that I never left. They are always very welcoming, do an amazing job (I get shellac) and a pedicure and I have even convinced my husband to go. He has been going with me for the past few years and loves it. I went to holly's nails and they did a great job there. Lam, and Kelly did a very nice job on my pedicure. Then Truc did a fantastic job on my manicure. My nails and toes look absolutely perfect, and are still Lasting up to today. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. I would really recommend this place for everyone.
