I tried the warm spice pedicure today and let me tell you it was awesome!!!! It was the perfect fall warm up. I started with a warm herbal neck wrap then indulged in pumpkin spice soak with orange slices. After exfoliation with a pumpkin spice sugar scrub, a pumpkin spice jelly mask and paraffin wax is included to finish it off. Was initially hesitant coming in because of the reviews but heard good things from someone I know so decided to give it a try. I called about an hour before closing, and was easily able to get my nails done without feeling rushed. Itim did a great job - she was patient in removing my gel polish, she helped pick a complimentary nail polish color, and was so easy & fun to chat to. Itim took her time and allowed me to enjoy my relaxing, self care time. She made sure I felt good about the nail shape and length. TLDR: I'm pretty particular with where I get my nails done but glad I listen to the person who recommended me this place. I was pleasantly surprised, and am glad I went. They do not honor appointments for some clients. When I arrived on time, I was told that the nail tech would be with me shortly. I waited 40 minutes before I decided to leave. They thought it was okay to have a customer sit with her nails in Acetone for more than 30 minutes while the nail tech was attending to another customer who was given my appointment slot. I have been to this salon a few times and I go because it has one of the nicer ambiences in the area. However, I will not be returning due to the last two visits I had. My pedicures were poorly done. The quality is very subpar, sloppy, and not neat at all. The polish was applied and clearly was clumpy and not smooth but the nail tech did a touch up job to try to correct it and it looks awful. I am not one to complain and that day I didn't have the energy to ask for it to be re-done so I settled for a poor job. If I wanted okay paint on my feet I would do it myself but I pay to go to the salon for a professional job but that is not what I received. Both times women did my pedicure and they both did not do a professional quality job. To add insult to injury I ended up with an infection on one of my toes from the nail tech being too rough on my cuticles and cutting too deep. See picture for the visual. Highly unsatisfied. Oh! I went in today for the first time. I asked the person at the register about the price for a full set. He said $50. French manicure was $5 extra. I had my nails done. I also requested a small design and the technician said it was $15 extra. I was ok with all of this. When I checked out, the cost was $85. I expected $70. I asked why $85 and the answer was super shady: extra & for the shape of the nails (regular round), extra for the shade of the base. WTF???? Truly outraged. So I went in after leaving another nail shop down the street, the right hand the nails, the girl who did my nails said the old nail needed to come off, I told her in all my years in California they only did new sets if it was necessary. She started to take off a nail and I said that hurts, she laughed, then she started soaking them while she worked on the other hand. She never bothered to take the other nails off. After an hour-and a half she finished. She failed to clean/file under the nails After telling me I needed a new set- she never bothered to do the right hand nails. She failed to check to see if the nails were same size on both hands, and check the shape. Then she charged me an additional 1.50 for using my debt card, which is illegal. Credit card you can charge, but not a debt card, it's actually against the law. So I did not tip her because the job she did was not worth a tip. read more

I will never get a pedicure here again. I asked for the $45 pedicure with regular polish. In a thought to make a quick buck, the technician said shellack would look better even though I didn't want it. He put tips on my toes which I also didn't ask for and it ended up costing me $75 before tip. Within two days I had to go back crying because my toenails hurt so much and there was discoloring around the beds. He took off the polish after me begging for 10 minutes and my toe nails were deep purple. I then had to go to both my PCP and a podiatrist, to figure out what to do. Both my big toenails fell off because of the issue that he caused and this $45 pedicure I requested that I thought would be relaxing and enjoyable has cost me hundreds of dollars in doctor bills, discomfort, and I couldn't wear open toed shoes for the last few months of summer at risk of them being infected and because they were embarrassing to look at. read more

These are just the facts... -no gloves - cuticle trimmers came in an open sterilization bag in the manicurists drawer, not opened sterile in front of me. That's when I should have left (long story) -manicurist was going to use a drill for my cuticles ( not sterilized). I said no to that. - Filed my nails, put cuticle softner on, trimmed my cuticles. Did not have me wash my hands at any point. -put the tiniest bit of lotion on, rubbed my hands for 15 sec. each. - I asked for just a regular nail Polish manicure because my nails do not do well with gel or shellac. I don't think they have regular nail polish at all. So I think they used a gel polish and regular base and top coat. So not what I asked for. - Didn't paint my entire nail, so I had to ask her to fill in the unpainted spots. The lady was rushing me number 13 and she was asking me what color I wanted to get done 4 times in 2 minutes right when I sit down in a rushy voice and after I finished my toes, she did my hands and she forgot to put top coat because she was trying to leave. I want the car and the hair started sticking on my nails. I went back and I told her I do not think you finished them into my nails and she was giving me attitude then after a couple days, they started chipping, and my toes were not even dry when I left from how fast she was rushing me and before the timer was beeping, she told me to take my hands out of the LED light and when I went back, she was giving me attitude too. I thought that one time was just not a good day for her and I did give her tips after I left. They started chipping the same day and I spent 50 bucks on them and I would not recommend going back, this wasn't my first time in that place seems like the customer service and the quality is not the same anymore. I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish on Friday. The nails ended up being a lot wider on the sides than my actual nail, and the gel polish was not nearly painted around the edges at all. I tried to just deal with it, but I came back today to see if they would fix it for me. All they did was roughly file around my nails and then use the drill to "smooth" the edges of the polish. Now the polish color is missing around the edges of my nails and it looks I already need a fill, even though it's only been 5 days. I was waxed at canton nails. The owner tried to give me 10.00 to get cream at Walgreens. I normally don't write bad reviews but they can hurt someone. When I brought it to their attention they said they didn't see anything. The pharmacy told me I was burned and the skin was removed. To avoid infection I have to put on poly cream. I love this little nail salon! Everyone that works there is always so friendly and they do such a good job for me. My standard appointment consists of a shellac manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. I love the pedicures, the massage chairs are great, and I always get sucked into the HGTV channel they've usually got on all of the TVs. Prices are reasonable and I'm always happy when I leave. I went in to get gel polish removed and get a regular manicure. Told her to trim my nails very little because I am getting married WELL she cut my nails way down and asked me if I like them. 1. If you cannot understand what I am saying, please learn the english language. What woman does not understand that an other woman is getting married and she wants her nails to look a certain way. 2. Had a pedicure too and when I got home the bottom of my feet did not even look like I had a pedicure. Now I have to go somewhere else to spend more $$ for nail tips and another pedicure. Went here for the first time and was very happy with my nails. My lady spent a lot of time perfecting the shape of my nails, which is something I didn't get at my usual salon. The salon is very nice looking and clean. They did not have very many regular nail polish options that I liked (very few blues, purples, oranges, etc) mostly pink, red, grays. Also, the people were friendly enough, but the salon was quiet and they stuck to minimal talking. My daughter and I wanted to get our nails done together today so we decided to try this nail spa out. We walked in and were "greeted" by one of the employees who just stared at us until I told him why we were there. My daughter wanted a shellac manicure with a small design and I wanted a fill with acrylic. He told me that I would have to wait for over an hour for my fill because they only have one person who does acrylic. They could see my daughter right away and they told me I could sit with her during her service until the guy was ready for me. My daughter showed her nail tech the picture of what she wanted, the woman immediately started speaking to the other staff members in their language where every 5th word was "design" and they were all laughing. Mind you, my daughter is 10 and wanted a couple smiley faces on her ring finger. Super cute so not sure what the problem was. The woman proceeded to hand all the shellac colors to me and told me to pick out the colors for my daughter. Not sure why she wasn't letting my daughter pick out her colors. Strange. Before the service even began, I asked about the price just so I had a heads up before it was too late to change my mind. She told me she has to go ask the guy who does the designs. She did and when she told me the price I thought it was reasonable so they started the service. During the entire service, this woman was continuing to talk to the other employees about the design (again, only understood the word design so knew they were talking about us). My daughter and I both felt super uncomfortable. Once she finished putting the color on my daughters nails, she told me we needed to wait for the design guy who would be just a few minutes because he was finishing up a service. 20 minutes go by and the guy is still nowhere in sight so I ask the woman if she knows how much longer it would be. She mumbled something under her breath that I could not understand so I just asked her to please put the top coat on her nails and we just go somewhere else to do her design and for my service. There were zero apologies and the staff was extremely rude. I will not go back to this place and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Judging by all of these other reviews, clearly I'm not the only one who feels this way. Save yourself the bad experience and go somewhere else. read more

She recommended an acrylic overlay for my natural nails which has worked out great for my professional look.
