I had the best experience here! At first I made the appointment online. Someone called me & said that they could not do a shampoo and blowout & the computer glitches or something? I was sad because I am a pain patient & needed to get my hair done for a retirement party that night for my hubby. But they fit me in with the owner and I was happy! Then when I arrived, the owner said she had a regular come in & so I was passed to Felicia. I was a little nervous being passed around a few times but it was a great experience! I'm so happy that I got Felicia! I really enjoyed my visit. I even got a beautiful gift from the owner for my 1st visit ever! She was really nice too! I loved my hair! It turned out awesome! I am so happy that tried something and someone new! I had a great visit and every person that I encountered at this salon was very kind and personable! I'm so happy that I didn't get scared when they called with a slight change. It turned out great! They even offered me a coffee, soda, water or a wine!! What a great bunch of people!! I've been complaining lately of my head burning when I get my hair colored at the place I've been going for years! I thought nothing could be done? Sweet n low did not help much. It just put off the pain for a few hours. I thought I'd have to sadly & reluctantly go Grey! But Felicia told me that they could use a yogurt based color with no PBD's. I'm so excited to try it! A friend of mine had mentioned she loves this salon, so when I was invited to a gala less than 24 hours before it was going to happen (at midnight), I went on the website hoping I can book a appointment for an updo and makeup online (at 2am). Because of the quantity of stylists they have, I had my choice of stylists, plus the website showed their ratings, so by 2:30am, my appointment for hair and makeup was set. I got a call from the salon half an hour before the appointment and was told my original stylist had an emergency and was unable to come in. I was about to freak out because the event was less than 5 hours away but was reassured someone else is willing to come in right now to do it. Phew! Sherice came in and saved the day. Sadly because I didn't get the invite until midnight, I didn't have much of a chance to look up hairstyles, but at least I knew what I liked. She worked her magic on my hair and makeup and I was ready to go. I was very impressed that the makeup made it through the night. It wasn't cheap (as I didn't expect it to be), but it was worth every penny. I may have to go back soon and give them a try with coloring my hair. Overall, I highly recommend them. read more

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO COME IF YOU LIKE FEELING BELITTLED BY SALON OWNERS!!! I have never left a negative review in my life. However, this experience was horrible and absolutely warrants a bad review. I attempted to make appointments for my daughter and myself the week after Christmas. We have certificates that expire on Dec 31, which we purchased last Summer when a woman approached our table at a restaurant. The owner of the salon explained that because we had certificates, that only one of us could come per day. I replied that we are only in town together one day - we need to come together. I also explained that we purchased these together, and nowhere on the certificate does it say we can't use them together. The owner proceeded to tell me that these are $10 certificates and she is running a business, she needs to keep the rest of her appointments open each day for paying customers. Needless to say, I was dumbfounded at that point. I explained again, this is the only day we can come, before they expire. The owner then proceeded to tell me that we've had plenty of time to use these certificates, she won't extend the expiration date, and can't refund them, because she didn't personally sell them to us - a promotional company did. I asked if she prefer, I leave a negative review online. She said no and added that she had been in business for 25 years and gloated that she had great online reviews. I told her I didn't think she was very good at customer service. That's when she said, "you haven't let me get a word in edgewise"... She said she would make an exception and let us both come on the same day. I didn't think I had interrupted her to that point, but wow... what business owner talks to customers like that?? And if I hadn't let her get a word in edgewise, how did I hear all of the above statements from her? Let's be honest... what self-respecting person would go to a salon after the owner talked to them that way?? She made it very clear she didn't have time for me because I had $10 certificates. She's apparently not trying to build her clientele. Furthermore, she refused to take responsibility for the certificates. She pushed that right onto the promotional company. I'd rather pay full price somewhere else... for good customer service. Merry Christmas! read more

This is my second time and can't say enough good things about the owner, Patricia Baker. I have red hair which had grown into a coppery mess and it is now back to the rich, beautiful auburn that that I wanted and I am loving my hair again. Patricia listened to my concerns and was straight up about what I was doing wrong which I appreciate. She also gave me a free hairbrush that she said would help my hair be healthier if I use it the right way. I thought it was going to be an easy $250 day but it wasn't and I definitely appreciate that too. Looking forward to my next appointment in six weeks. read more

Me and my sister went to get a few things done with our hair, it came out so pretty, we are going to go back to do more with our hair because of how great abby did. Everyone in there have a lot of knowledge on hair and do a great job. They were also very talkative and always kept conversation and told me that they would even teach me to curl my hair if I ever wanted to because I love the way abby curled it. They took good care of us and I suggest getting your hair done here. It's hard finding trust worthy hair salons for me but I know which one I can stick too :) read more

Westbrook Salon was able to fit me in! I'm always nervous about first time hair appointments but my experience was better than any other! The owner, Patricia, provided a Balyage color application (my first!), eyebrow arch and hair cut. She took the time to examine my hair, make recommendations and educate me about the entire process. She helped to instruct me on how to style my hair at home. Yes, the services are pricey and I like to be frugal but this place provided much better value than any other hair salon in the area. The prices are comparable to other salons. I can tell the owner takes pride in her business. I will be back! read more

This is a little gem in a strip mall off of Sheldon road. They offer all kinds of hair services for men and women. My favorite is Anna. She specializes in coloring hair and also is very good with curly hair which is hard to find. I would highly recommend this place. read more
