Suri did amazing for my galaxy nails!!! And she's so nice too! Clean fast reasonable price omfg love

Tony was great! He was patient with me and I let him know exactly what I wanted and he executed. I've been here before and my first experience was actually not great at all, but I think it was just the person who took care of me. Hit or miss I guess, but book with Tony

I returned exactly 2 weeks later. I was so pleased that they could accommodate me as a walk-in. I received a full set of dip nails and a therapeutic pedi again. Unbeknownst to me, the gel must be removed before it can be done again. They were very efficient, soaking it off while I received another amazing pedicure. I opted for the opposite combo this time: pale toenails and gothic, dark fingernails. They did a phenomenal job. This will be my new indulgence!

This is what I get! Completely different than the picture

Absolutely terrible experience! The nail removal process was so brutal it felt like torture. They promised they could do the design I wanted, but what I got was a complete disaster--totally different, not even close to the right color. And then they had the nerve to CHARGE me $100 for this shitty work! Can you believe they charge $100 for this garbage? It's outright ROBBERY! They never mentioned the price at any point--before, during, or after the process. They just slapped me with a final number at the end! Honestly, I would have paid if it actually looked like the picture, but for this horrendous design? Save your money and stay far away from this place!

October 19, 2022 Update: dip & gel is not quite 3 days old & is peeling!!! I am very careful with my nails too & can typically go much longer. Last service obviously lacks quality. October 16, 2022: I've visited this spa several times over past several months. This is 3rd review based on overall opinion. I've come to understand to expect variable results. Sometimes good or satisfactory and sometimes unsatisfactory. Today I choose to have my now regular "dip" service and chose a color- something like a taupe color. Once it was applied it clearly was not a taupe but more like a light pink. I indicated to technician that color was not what I chose. She says to me that I should choose another color since I didn't "like" this one. No that wasn't the problem. It was not the color I CHOSE. In fact it was significantly different color. We went back & forth with me clarifying miscommunication & misrepresentation of my sentiment they seemed stuck on. I had to caution them from being dismissive & disregarding my feelings based on negative experience I was having based on product error not MY error as they seemed to infer. Ultimately I decided on a gel color that is COMPLETELY NOT what I wanted just to get the Hell out of there. The conversation they uttered in another language between themselves right in my face - made me feel insignificant in the moment and as if they were trying to talk about me without me knowing what they were saying. Typically I wouldn't have a problem with them speaking in another language but not when you've just had a debate and miscommunication with me. This is DISRESPECTFUL. To be fair, I have had great work and good service on previous visits. Different technicians on different visits. But buyer beware, you may win some and you may lose some. July 2022: I am an eternal optimist. Always the one to search out the best of something even in the least of circumstances. I try to see the good in it all. So....I've visited this place several times (3-4 visits) now the past few months and ordered multiple services. My daughter accompanied me twice. Loved my pedis. Was enchanted with my peachy pink full set gel. Loved the full set acrylics with free hand artwork. Melted at my leg/foot rubdown during my pedi. These folks got me ready for vacay! Besides this Mall needs all the help it can get. I Absolutely did not like the unpredictable nature of availability and uncertain quality of service. I knew from visit #1 that they stop taking customers well before they lock the doors. So sad to hear them turn away many many hopeful customers starting at 30-40 minutes before "closing". What's bad about this is that folks have to walk THROUGH the door carrying their hopes & dreams for a bit of beauty and a restorative restful moment to uplift spirit, refresh, recharge, and renew with a sweet hand or foot rub and a bit of color to top it off. Well the tables turned and I was that hopeful beauty queen who walked through that door and like a slap in the face, SLAP! I was told by the lady in charge that they stopped taking customers. Darn ! After a long days' work. And 2 broken nails! Here's the best part...I walked in at exactly 7pm. They close at 8pm. They told me they stopped taking customers at 6:30pm. What?!? No more customers 1.5 hours ahead of closing? Makes sense to stop taking customers 30 minutes before close but to switch up and then change it to 1.5 hours before ESPECIALLY when the place was NOT busy is Fickle Foolery ! Insult to injury, she asked, "Would you like to make an appointment?" Ah... let me take your hand off my face first and recover from the sting of the slap. Fickle Foolishness.

Dip color #13 done by Rachel
    Rae D.

Rachel saved my nails and possibly even my life today. I've been really struggling with my mental health recently and had really let my self care go down the drain. I sobbed the entire drive to Signature Nails & Spa after forcing myself out of the house. My feet were an absolute mess and I had pretty much destroyed my fingernails after chewing off my previous dip. I sat in the parking lot trying to get myself together and not look like I had been a blubbering mess minutes before. I walked in at 1pm and after a short wait was seated at one of the pedicure stations. I had the pleasure of being pampered by Rachel. Rachel was extremely kind and gentle from start to finish, even with me jiggling around in the massaging chair. She prepped and foiled my fingers so my poorly removed dip destruction could be properly removed. I opted for the #5 pedicure for the ultimate treat yourself experience. The #5 included a relaxing soak, a callus treatment, an exfoliating leg and foot scrub, collagen treatment and hot towel wraps, a hot stone massage, a paraffin wax treatment, and some other luxurious pampering that I may have nodded out through as I was so relaxed. I chose to go with white shellac for my toes. Rachel had carefully trimmed my nails and cuticles, and painted each toe perfectly. After the amazing pedicure, Rachel went to work on my extremely damaged fingernails. She removed the remainder of the dip and trimmed the damaged length. I then followed Rachel over to her dip station where she already had the color I had chosen set up and ready to go. She perfectly prepped, shaped and dipped my fingers back from the destroyed mess they were when I walked in. She displayed an unwavering attention to detail on both my feet and hands, continuously refining any minor issue that stood in her way of perfection. When she finished pampering me, I thanked her for the hundredth time, paid and tipped, and walked out the door a new person. I can't begin to thank her for all she did for me today. I walked in trying to crawl out of a downhill depression spin, and this experience was truly therapeutic and healing. Rachel, I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Thank you for helping me look and feel 100x better!

I've been to signature at least four or five times now. They're relatively new, still only a couple years old. They're located between Von Maur and Jc Penney at Briarwood mall. They only have an exterior entrance though so enter through the parking lot. The place is gleaming and huge. When you walk in you get instant warm lighting, glistening tile floors, shelves of polish to choose from, rows and rows of manicure seats and two dozen pedicure massage chairs. They definitely got the atmosphere thing down. Its beautifully decorated with a Grecian feel, standing water wall decor and curved ceiling designs. And most of all, it definitely feels clean! Everytime I've walked in here I haven't given that a second thought. I've gotten shellac pedicures and manicures here. The service is great. They have a long extensive list of pedicure options depending on how much you want to spend. I've gotten the homey and butter scrub and the therapeutic pedicure. I would only recommend the therapeutic one if you've been running/working out and your feet need some extra medicinal TLC. It smells like tiger balm/vicks/or that unnamed Chinese medicine i grew up around. I appreciated it at the time when I got it though!!! But its more of a recovery thing then a spa type pedicure. The honey and butter pedicure was delightful. The last two times I've been here, they have been insanely busy. I think they're extra busy on holiday weekends. Call ahead to make an appointment if you can but they will take walk-ins if needed. If they're booked full, they'll put you on a wait list and give you a call when its your turn, giving you the freedom to browse in the mall. I'm a fan of this place and I will continue to come.

I always love coming here Tony is AMAZING but yesterday I had the worst experience I had to pay: 55 acrylic 15 for shape? 10 soak off? The reason I needed the soak off is for the clear pink and she didn't give it to me after asking her repeatedly and showing photos. So I could've just done a fill and the $15 for shape should be included youre really charging me to cut the acrylic to size? And she didn't give me the shape I wanted. It also took 2 hours. I'm only putting 5 stars for Tony but I would have put 1Star for my experience yesterday. I spent $90 and two hours for the worst mail job I've ever received

My middle finger nail and index finger nail are crooked as shit

Waited 35 minutes to get my nails done, paid 70 something dollars plus a $15 tip and their crooked as shit

Was in the area for a Saturday wedding. I needed my nails done. We were welcomed as "walk-ins," and our waiting was not more than 10 minutes. With the promise of loving our nails a week later, we were talked into getting a gel manicure. It's been two weeks and I'm still enjoying my nails! Thank you so much for your terrific service!

I was in Ann Arbor for a few days and wanting to get a pedicure. I'd mentally resolved that I would not be able to get my nails done on a Sunday. However, I went down State Street to grab some lunch. As I exited the restaurant with my to go order in hand, I looked up and saw the nail sign on in an upstairs window across the street. It took me a while to find the right door to go into to get to the nail salon; however, I was successful. You enter in a small door that's nestled between a couple of businesses and have to take the stairs up to the second floor, where Athena Nails is located (along with some other small businesses). I went in half expecting them to actually be closed (despite the sign being on), or unavailable to take me at that time. I have my lunch in hand and needed to be back at my hotel in about 80 minutes. I was shocked when the woman said that she could take me immediately, but I readily agreed. It's a suite space, so there were two pedicure chairs, and 2 or 3 individual nail stations. One pedicure chair was already occupied, so I took the second. I only use regular polish on my natural nails (no gel, SNS, or acrylics). Even though I'd noted this at intake, I had to clarify this once in the chair as the experience seemed, we were headed for gel polish. Once clarified, my nail technician quickly, switched gears and went to collect colors that were close to the shade. I chosen from the options originally provided. I was surprised to see that the regular polishes were all from a luxury brand (Hermès) but it made the slightly higher price I was quoted make sense. I see the experience is no frills, because it was just a straight pedicure. None of the extra add-ons that lots of nail shops offer these days. No paraffin wax or hot stones or scented waters; no massage chairs; etc. The chair did have a basin for hot water to sit your feet in, but it didn't do anything special. The technician cared for my nails, painted them, applied some special oils to them, and then lotioned my feet. I was able to eat my lunch (a salad) as she worked. I got out of there on time to get back to my hotel. Once I got to my hotel, I was able to change clothes without ruining my pedicure. It was completely dry with just the products she used. I didn't need time with my feet under a fan or anything else. Here's the kicker: I am now, two weeks out from this experience, and my polish still looks fresh. My toe nails are just now starting to show the first sign of even growing out the tiniest bit. If I lived locally, I'd patronize this place again and again.

I suppose that I could ensure 4-star experiences by scheduling in advance with one of the better technicians, but needing an appointment seems like a reason to just go to a better salon somewhere else. The benefit of going to a mid to low end nail salon located in a mall is the convenience of not needing an appointment. Therefore, when I am in need of an unscheduled mani/pedi, I will continue to play roulette, and take a gamble on Foxy Nails. Foxy nails has a huge selection of regular and gel polishes. I have not seen anyone getting nail art here, so I am not sure if it is offered. The cleanliness is OK. The overall condition has definitely deteriorated over the past few years with raggedy towels and tired massage chairs. Technicians do, however, use sealed tools and wear gloves, so I never feel like the salon is a health risk.

Sadly, like the other reviews note, their time management is poor and waits can exceed an hour. Tonight I waited 90 minutes, and I wasn't the only one. So, I had an important once-in-a-lifetime event I wanted to be at @ 6pm. I walked in at 330. I'm only getting a fill-in on my acrylics with no design, one color, should take about an hour. I didn't leave Foxy Nails until 6:05pm. In one of my photos below, you can see that AFTER TWO HOURS I HAD NO POLISH. !#* two hours!*#% Like many others say, the floor can be a bit dirty. They have alcoves of chairs and can probably do 20+ pedis at a time if they have enough staff because it's so big. Each alcove has 3 chairs facing 3 chairs and so my group had no issue chatting between ourselves. If it was a bday party or bridal shower with 6 people, I think the alcove would give it a cozy vibe of togetherness. The space was super clean, chairs looked new, bathroom was tidy and well appointed, and the place just kind of screamed luxe. The service itself was ALSO luxe so the prices seemed totally reasonable to me.
