I visited with my sister for a weekday pedicure. We called ahead with a timeframe of 12:30-1pm and was told that would work - to come on in. When we arrived, the woman at the desk (we assume we spoke to her on the phone) huffed that we had walked in and made a comment "why everyone want to come in at 1pm?!" That was a bit off putting but it was stay or leave and we stayed. The pedicure was fine. Took a bit of time but we weren't in a hurry. Large clean space. I got a mani and pedi. Asked for a French manicure on both my hands and feet. Got what I asked for on my toes but the lady decided to do her own thing on my hands doing an ombré French (which looked terrible) and designs on two fingers. Because of the designs and the dip powder the lady chose (on her own) everything came out to be $125. On top of that I got an infection from my pedicure. I didn't see them wash or sanitize one tool the entire time. If you go here do not let them upsell you and make sure their tools are clean. read more

I'm disappointed. I live across the street and saw this place open and had been wanting to try it. First of all, they are way over booked on their appointments. I had a scheduled 4pm appointment, and wasn't taken back until 4:45. People have appointments for a reason. And even when I was taken back, it felt rushed. My manicurist was working on 2-3 people at the same time. Second, I got my shellac mani on Thursday (which looked great by the way!). I had no complaints after the fact.. but then it chipped by Monday. And not just a small chip, an entire half of my nail is missing. I paid $35 dollars for my shellac to last 3 days. Of course, this would be upsetting to anyone. I have visited several other nail salons, and never had this problem. I will not be returning, no matter how convenient the location. read more

This is usually my go to nail place, and they usually do a great job with no variation in quality, which is why I only ever come here. However today, I left very disappointed at the quality of my manicure. It was before lunch time, and I could tell my nail tech was hungry and rushing to get a lunch break. They put on the nails with glue without checking the sizes first. They didn't make sure the nails were the same length. They over filed my nails in a quick manner, and only checked in with me once and that was to make sure I liked the polish color. As soon as they roughly (and barely) put cuticle oil on my nails, they told me to wash my hands and they disappeared, leaving me confused if I was going to get any lotion or anything or if I just had to go ahead and pay. I found it to be a bit rude. I am not one to complain, but I did consult the owner in an extremely respectful manner with the intention of being honest about how I felt about the manicure so that I can continue to come back and not have this issue again. The owner said that because I picked an almond shape with a shorter length, that is why my nails were filed crooked. I said I understand, but I had gotten this exact shape many times there haven't had this problem. I also pointed out that there was dead skin/ peeled cuticle all over my nails, and I know that this isn't part of the acrylic nail service, but they usually take time to make sure the cuticle looks nice at least. The owner didn't provide any solutions and only expressed why it was my fault, and suggested I get a square shape next time. She said they could cut my cuticles, but it would cost me $10. I sucked it up got my cuticles cut to make it look a bit better at least, but I walked out extremely dissatisfied and I was even more sad that it was my birthday gift and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I can deal with the subpar manicure even though I paid full price, but being blamed for the overfilling of my nails was just ridiculous and unfortunately I am going to go somewhere else from now on. read more

I hate to say this because I'm not that type of person but this is the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. I went in expecting that they knew what they were doing but I guess not. My nails are so bad i asked for a coffin/square shape and was not given that shape. Acrylic was bumpy and not even blended after I asked to file down more she said the acrylic was just like that and it was because of the top coat. She tried fixing them and I didn't see a difference I had been there two hours already I just wanted to leave and didn't bother telling her to fix them more. On top of that I was charged almost 100$ she charged me 95$ Won't ever be going back. I came to work and everyone noticed how ugly my nails were. They also messed up my friend brows, they had the audacity to say that was her brow shape when clearly they chopped half of her eyebrows off. Horrible experience!!!!! read more

Worst nail salon experience i've ever had. I got my nails done with dip polish that was way lighter than the color I had picked off the sample. When I asked for someone to redo them because I could see my nails through the dip polish and my thumbs were two different shades, I was told by the manager that I should know that the color of the dip is much lighter than the sample color (if the person doing my nails would have said that I would have chosen a different color). So then the manager proceeded to put gel polish over the four coats of dip polish to fix the color. Today marks one week from having them done and the dip polish has chipped off my natural nail. I could see if the gel polish chipped off but I have never had dip polish pull away from my natural nail. I paid $50 for dip polish (with gel on top to fix the color because they were too lazy to take the dip off and redo them) that hasn't even lasted a week. I would never go back. read more

The salon is clean and bright and the staff is always very friendly and they do their best to make sure you get exactly what you want! There's lots of color choices for both shellac and dip so you can perfectly match your Pinterest inspiration pic lol. The missing star is for the gap between the polish and my cuticle. My nails grow quickly, so getting the acrylic & polish all the way up to the cuticle really makes a big difference. Other than that, no complaints! read more

I went here for the first time today with my MIL and SIL, I had a fantastic experience and my fill was very fast and done beautifully. Now I can't say the same for my mother in law and sister in law, as my MIL got dip done and it was very chunky and looked as if there was dirt inside the dip powder. My sister in law got gel nails with Halloween designs and they were done very sloppy and she refused to fix the spots she messed up. They also forced my mom to leave a tip and got very upset that she didn't bring cash... I will probably come back if I can get the same girl I had but I can tell you my MIL and SIL will not step foot in there. read more

SCAM ALERT Charges card for unauthorized tips!! After noticing strange charge on my billing statement I stopped in to get a refund, 'Kim' suggested that there was no error and this was legitimate. After 5 minutes of beating around the bush 'Kim' did refund the fraudulent charge but admitted no wrong doing. Not surprised when I found other Yelp reviewer had been taken as well. Was in town and killing time during my son's camp at UofM. Nice spot right off Zeeb Rd near Jimmy Johns and Starbucks. Needed a pedicure badly and anything would look better than what I had going on. To my surprise one of the BEST pedicures I've ever had. The cuticle and nail cleanup was perfected followed by a great scrub, massage and then hot stones!! I needed to have an acrylic fill done after 4 weeks of growth so I dropped in here. The salon itself was bright and clean. I chose a dark navy blue glitter gel polish. I appreciate that she kept the acrylic on the thinner side because that's what I prefer, but she cut my cuticles with the e-file no less than 4 times and now a few days after they are still sore. The acrylic also doesn't have much of an apex, they are pretty flat, and a bit bumpy. The polish also has some imperfections and she didn't get very close to my cuticle in some areas. She was knowledgable enough to give extra time under the lamp to cure the dark color gel polish I chose however (I have left from a higher end salon with uncured polish before). I'm not going to mention the nail tech's name in case she was having an off day, but if I go back here I would request someone else. read more

I didn't like my nails from here. I got a white fill in (no gel) and after a couple days it looked dingy and it was peeling off with barely any wear and tear having been done. Went to this nail saloon with my sister. Thought it looked small in the front but there is a larger area in the back. Chairs were comfy and environment was cute and clean. However, I had 3 people doing my nails. The first girl doing my feet seemed like she had no idea what she was doing and maybe was in training. My feet came out fine and how I wanted. However, the nail tech did not tell me that the color I choose would not need a white base and went ahead and still painted my nail with a white base and this ugly color over it. The color would have maybe been okay by itself but defiantly not over white. At this point they are saying there is nothing they can do and that I choose the white. Which is not true. I eventually settled on putting a sparkle color over the white but I still don't like it. Now my toes and nails are two different whites and do not look good. My nails are also misshaped and have wrinkles in the gel, as if they did not take my previous nails all the way off. I will never go here again. They also charged me $100 for all of the BS when I was told multiple times there is nothing they can do. So here is your bad review read more

I had an okay service when I came in for only a dip manicure. My problem is they added a tip to my credit card WITHOUT my knowledge AFTER running my card.
