However -- whenever I risk booking with ANY other technician, the experience is always lackluster. I've had technicians awkwardly squabble over who 'has' to do my nails. I've had technicians rip into my cuticles so hard they bleed. When I went in recently for a gel manicure soak-off, they just haphazardly dipped my fingers in acetone and sent me on my way. My nails looked awful and my skin peeled for days afterward, to the point where my hands looked diseased. I was greeted right away and the tech was available within a few minutes. The front was very clean and tidy. Things went downhill after that. The work station of the tech who did my nails was filthy - covered with dusty and crust. The longer I sat there, the more I saw and the more frustrated I felt. Tools like nippers for cuticles seemed to have been used on other customers with old cuticle on them. I'm so embarrassed that I didn't get up and leave. The tech used an efile to tear up my nail beds and then buffed them out anyway. This seemed to be a substitute for actually cleaning the old regular nail polish off. The nail polish application was sloppy with the tech applying way too much for each layer. No base coat was used, so my nail beds will be stained now. This tech applied the polish like it's gel and not like it's ordinary nail polish that needs to air dry. It's got bubbles and streaks and is cracking where the top doesn't quite cover the color. Especially strange was that I was asked to pay and tip before my service was finished. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend.

They have alcoves of chairs and can probably do 20+ pedis at a time if they have enough staff because it's so big. Each alcove has 3 chairs facing 3 chairs and so my group had no issue chatting between ourselves. If it was a bday party or bridal shower with 6 people, I think the alcove would give it a cozy vibe of togetherness. The space was super clean, chairs looked new, bathroom was tidy and well appointed, and the place just kind of screamed luxe. The service itself was ALSO luxe so the prices seemed totally reasonable to me. Very professional staff and you can schedule to see particular people if you become a loyal customer (I probably would if 1) I lived her and 2) I didn't like doing my own nails).
