The service was awesome, given I was a walk-in. The owner of the business was very friendly and dressed very professional which I think it is nice that he does that. I only had to wait maybe 5 min at the most. I got a. New set of nails and the Classic pedicure. He was very helpful in letting me know their prices ahead of time. This place is huge!!!! I must have counted around 15 employees working there. He was very accommodating. He also made the customers laugh joking around with them. He even apologized to two customers that were waiting to get their nails done. The inside of the nail salon was modern. They have so many wall decorations which make it so friendly. The music reminded me if being in a spa. I love the lighted signs and saying. The only thing I forgot to remind them of was my eyebrows. They are a little on the high pretty pricy, however very nice and accommodating. It actually says Trina was very sweet she asked if I was okay twice. I think her name was Trina. Now unfortunately I forgot the name of the nail tech I got. So glad this replaced the old nail Salon. It is a much better atmosphere. Thank you, to everyone that helped me. I will be back! This salon is the best in Canton. I have been to them all over the last 30 years. The owner has expanded to twice the size. And there are always a lot of techs so you never have to wait long. He has new massage chairs and the place has been remodeled and is truly spa like. It is super clean and follows all protocols for safety. My tech today was Lily. And she treated me like royalty. Great massage. Super gentle on my toes. I almost fell asleep a few times. The owner of this salon is there most of the hours they are open checking in and providing free water. This nail salon truly feels like a spa experience from the amazing massage chairs to the soothing music played over the speakers. I hate to post this review to make it busier. Showed me the chair, which was so comfortable and beautiful I didn't want to get out of it! Tami was my nail technician, she did such an amazing job! If i could leave zero stars I would. The worst service i have ever had. I wish i recorded the woman doing my pedicure. When I was finally sat to do my service there was a gentleman next to me who was halfway through his pedicure and somehow he finished after me. My service was rushed, and half assed. She spent more time looking around and behind her to see who was walking in or God knows what the she did doing my toes. She pushed and pushed for me to do shellac on my toes even after I kindly told her no multiple times. She told me "well then you have to wait 15 minutes for it dry" how is that her problem? I can wait hello I'm here to spend time am I not? Anyway. She barely grazed the filer over my toenails so they all snag on my socks now. I mentioned to her my heels were my concern and she took maybe 30 seconds on the right foot and 20 seconds on the left. My heels feel and look exactly the same as when i arrived. My mom had the same issues with a different tech. Kept pushing her to do dip when she wanted Shellac. Even told her "we'll do nice job on dip" so does that mean you do subpar on shellac even though you offer it? They did not clean under her nails AT ALL and when she asked for another coat for the color to be opaque the tech told her "no it'll be too pink" THATS NOT FOR THE TECH TO DECIDE. You could not PAY me to come back. This place is a money hungry mess. I'm sure there are a few good techs in there but we're 0/2 so probably not likely! Believe the bad reviews before you go, I didn't and now I'm upset! It's really 0 stars! The first time I visited I had a great experience, I was serviced by the young lady directly to the right of the door. Second experience was decent, not as good as the first but minimal complaint. I had to ask for the side of my nail to get painted! The third time was awful but I tried to make the best of it because I just needed my nails done for the holiday. The young man's name was Kevin, he has to be new. He took 2 & 1/2 hours to give me a fill in. I wanted designs but changed my mind because I didn't have the time to wait. Then I was able to tell he was new by the way he shaped my nail. I had to redirect him to the same nail twice to get it to match the others. I felt kinda bad because I could tell he was trying and new but at the same time I'm paying for this. Eventually I was done , also had to ask him to pain the side of my nail. Paid, even left a tip , it's the holidays. But my nails shouldn't be coming off my fingers entirely after 2 weeks. I'm missing two nails and a thumb and NO, I am not hard on my nails. I crochet, I have soft old lady hobbies! Everyone has to learn but not at the expense of your customers. And I was finally happy to find a place close to home. But I'm sorry, I will not be returning. I really want my money back, but I don't have the patience to deal with any excuses. I don't want to go off on anybody. If the business sees this. Welp, this is what I get for going somewhere else. I was priced 95 over the phone for a mani and pedi with gel and dip. Ended up paying 120 for some reason. No problem, only 3 nails look good from all of them. I asked for a pedi and he said okay. Started to paint my nails. I asked " what about the pedicure?" He said after. This isn't my first time getting my nails done but I figured maybe this guy knows what he's talking about. Proceeds to finish painting my hand and goes done. U don't need a pedicure. Only I was charged for it. My whole left hand looks like a child did it. My cuticles aren't even visible. I hate myself for this shitty job I can't get off. I told the owner I wanted a Pedi/and a acrylic Pink and White fill, I sat down for the pedi, and the guy started on my nails, about 1/2 way through one hand he said he is charging me an additional 10.00. I asked why he said the nails were being filed down. I told him that what you do when doing a pink and white fill. He said you don't have a pink and white. I told him he's wrong I have been having them done in CA for the last 45 years. I then explained how you do it. The owner came over and started talking to the guy in their language, then turned to me and told me I didn't have a pink and white acrylic. Wish I read the reviews before stopping in here. Paid 100 dollars (including tip) for a deluxe pedicure and manicure. Cut too cuticles deep on three fingernails and left with a little blood. I've had my nails done a ton and I get it happens sometimes, but three fingers is a bit much. She did a good job with the pedicure but had no dryer at my feet while she was working on my hands. Once she was done with my hands then she moved me to another chair that had foot dryers. I felt as though maybe they weren't fully dried yet but she insisted I'd be fine and was trying to rush me out of there. I put my socks and shoes on only to come home with indents in the polish from my socks. I feel like I've had cheaper but better quality service at other nail salons in Canton so I probably won't be back. read more

Tic Tac Nails not only had a higher review rating than other salons in my area, but great reviews. I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in the next day. I genuinely am so hurt by this nail salon. Really nice owner, but has zero backbone when it comes to dealing with her staff. DO NOT go to Nina, she's the one with the pink nail supplies and the pearls within the pink and glass nail container. She spends more time on herself and making her station look pretty than the actual care of her clients. She DAMAGED my nails out of being pitty, and for what? Because I asked her super politely to please get the remaining polish from my previous color off? Isn't that part of the manicure? I should have walked away the second she put my hands in freezing water for a manicure. She barely got any of the excess cuticle skin, my dip was still on my nail, and the previous color was still around the corners of my nails (which mattered because I was getting a clear pink polish on top). She claimed the nail would be too thin if she took off the dip all the way....even though there was a bump underneath the polish that clearly was a lot of dip left. After I asked her to remove it, she did one hand well and I commented saying "see thank you so much it's not thin at all"...I immediately regretted it because the other hand she created CRATERS on my nails. Granted I have thick and big nail beds. My made my nails so thin I cried out in pain. The person who did my nails was rude and made me feel like I was being difficult for expressing any sort of concern. I asked to make the base a darker color so the acrylic underneath doesn't show. The French tips were sloppy and she kept telling me "I'm not done I'm not going to leave it like that", then at one point handed me the nail file and told me to do it. This is what I left with. I don't like writing bad reviews, but am a firm believe in buyer be ware. Looking forward to a mani-pedi. All my nails were the same length, nice oval shape for my hands, toe nails matched the shape of my toes when I entered. I just needed a touch up and color change. Technician, using the term loosely, squared off all of my fingernails, left me with sharp edges, uneven cuts looking like an upside down trapezoid. I asked for corrections twice during the appointment, each time she was hurting me worse with the filing, actually broke the skin on one finger. Bare in mind, if you ask them for a correction, brace yourself for some pain! I still have uneven, sharp, nasty, slanted nails. Polish equally sloppy, bubbles, top coat left on skin, uuugh. Onto the feet. Going in my toe nails mirrored the shape of my toes. Again, just needed a touch up and color change. Now they look butchered. Some squared, some upside down trapezoid, some angled, some with a chip in the middle of the nail. Polish sloppy and left on my skin. Hobbit feet would look nicer. I understand that service is dependent upon the individual technician, however ownership should ensure quality service. read more

I've also had a few pedicures here, which have been very nice. Ugh. So I was in a bind and really needed my nails redone. My friend has good experiences here- matter of fact, it's where she goes on the regular, so I figured I'd stop in while on Ford rd. I really wish I hadn't. I do dip manicures. I like that I can keep my natural nails long, without them breaking (like with Shellac), or needing tips because they get so brittle and sad. Dip is the perfect in-between..not quite as heavy and thick as true acrylics, and not thin like gel. Well. I don't know if it is the brand they use or technique or a combination of both, but within two days my nails looked like shit. The clear gel topcoat was peeling off (what the what?? how even?), and the actual dip was chipping. The edges of my nails basically kept getting nicked, resulting in sharp edges and my natural nail breaking off along with it. From there- since the cracks were started - it would just keep lifting and coming off. This.Has.Never.Ever.Happened.Anywhere.Else!! My natural nails are now rough, broken, damaged and uneven. The lady who did my nails was so sweet but she is obviously not experienced. I asked for Dip Power on my natural nails and to add matte polish to give a more fall look. My nails look horrible. She cut up my cuticles on both hands to the point where it was bleeding. Hopefully they heal sooner than later. The worker also accidentally used the wrong polish and instead of properly removing it she tried to paint over it. There was no buffing or smoothing done to my nails so there are several small humps. I explained to the man who I assume is the owner and showed him my nails. He said the workers are paid on commission and he could only take off $5. I was referred to this place by a close friend and paid $80. It's unfortunate I had such a horrible experience and the owner wasn't willing to take care of his employees lack of training. read more

The last time I was there ...the older lady who I believe is an owner... picked up a nail dryer from the floor put it on the table for me to put my hands in. It was filthy..I was horrified to say the least and did not put my hands in the dryer. Everyone has a bad day but that was beyond lazy for her to do. I knew then I would never be back and it wasn't worth an argument so I just waited for my nails to dry enough that I could leave. She was also very rude the whole time and clearly bored with the fact that I wasn't paying a $100 to get acrylics or whatever she's used to making money on. She still got tipped though and very well. Not recommended. I tried this place for the first time and within a few days, my nails were a bloody mess. I don't know what they did differently, but my nails all broke and the shellac polish peeled up. I've been getting shellac for years at other salons and never had this happen. The polish is bad or poor application, I'm unsure which. So here I sit at another salon to get my nails redone after a 1 week when usually I go 3 weeks in between manicures. This is the normal nail salon I go to and usually they do a great job. I was put with a new girl today (back left corner) and she was incredibly rude. Didn't talk much but did tell me when I had looked at my nails that "they wouldn't be even" and I would have to come back in 2 weeks and then they would be even. I told her I would rather them short than uneven and she just laughed. She didn't talk to me the rest of the time. On top of that, she kept hitting my skin and cutting it and not even acknowledging when I flinched from it. She just pulled my hand back towards her. This place was such a nice find. I was on my way to Home Goods and decided I wanted to get my nails done. It wasn't my usual place, but my nail tech had left that place and I was looking for a new nail salon anyway. Much to my surprise everyone there was attentive, friendly and polite. They are very kind and do such a good job. I posted a picture of my French manicure. I have been there 3 times now and have received nothing but consistently good service. Sam is my main nail tech and she is such a pleasure. She is professional, relatable and does just enough small talk to keep things comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and fair.
