I had a horrible experience here. For starters the guy chipped my previous dip off, which wrecked my nails. He also cut two of my fingers and proceeded to tell me I have sensitive skin while I was bleeding. They also tried pressure me into using the ATM because there was only a $3 service fee, and told me it would be less than the 3% on my card? My bill was $60 so the 3% was $1.80. I wanted to like it here because heck, it would be convenient as hell for me. I never made it into the chair and I have given it two attempts. I came on a Saturday the first time and there was only one seat to be had in the waiting area. I lingered at the desk hoping for guidance for quite awhile, finally someone came and told me quite impatiently "put your name and what you want down here" thrusting a sheet of paper at me. Ok. Ummm I have never been here and did not get so much as a hello. I saw many names ahead of me and had my husband with me so there was no room for both of us. I should have thought to drop him off at home but it has never been an issue before, he keeps a book in the car and has a ton of games on his phone. But to have nowhere to even sit? Awkwardly we left and I chalked it up to my bad planning. I excused the staff behavior as just a busy long Saturday. Attempt two was less crowded. Still unfriendly. Could not find a single polish I liked that was not very nearly empty. They had a lot of either really dark or really neon bright colors and the colors I would have wanted were shimmery instead of plain. It just felt everything skewed young and trendy selection wise where I am more of a basics type; pure blue undertoned reds and nice not too yellowed pinks. Everything here seemed very much warm skin friendly rather than something for a Caspar white skin toned blonde. I finally asked for some help finding a polish, hoping they had some still on stations or some such. Got a blank stare. Got told it was not my time anyway, worry about it later. My polish stays on longer than any of the other local shops and the staff is nice enough. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I started going to Le Le Nails a few months ago moving from Southfield. I thought that I found a good salon. Le Le was the only one that did my nails. I tip well every visit. Today I came in and I asked for Le Le like I always do. She was almost done with another customer. I said that I would wait. 3 ladies came in after me. Went to get a maniand pedi with wife. Now I'm up here visiting from Texas but this place is not worth it for a $30 pedicure. If your in a rush and don't have polish sure but 15 mins is not a spa to me. Maybe just me from Texas but I'm used to a nice soaking and a leg scrub with a side drink or soda and a nice massage. Here you dip your toes for 5 mins then they oil you legs then lotion and then that's it slap some paint on your toes. Was going to get a manicure but not worth my money and sure could have got more time spent. Natural and thin. I never have to sit and wait. I only go on weekdays (Mon-Wed) early between 11-1pm the place is usually empty. Never go on weekends unless you want to wait for hours. Sometimes I get oval instead of square. I love my nails short. They know how to do an overlay with short nails. Most nail techs can't do short nails without applying a fake nail. If I could leave zero stars I would. I randomly stumbled upon this salon and it looked decent and clean. My service was a pedicure and I added the $12 extra for the deluxe pedicure. As the guy was doing my pedicure he was giving me basic service. I had to ask him to properly file my toenails and shape them. The cut was off. It was like he was rushing and giving me half ass service. Keep in mind that I'm supposed to be getting a deluxe service. I changed my mind on the deluxe because what's significant about it? I have been here a couple times for eyebrows. The other times I came was on the weekend and it was pretty busy so maybe they had the workers in their specialty areas. However, I went in today on a Tuesday, it was not busy at all. I'm not sure the name of the lady that did my eyebrows but I ended up with a bald spot in my left brow and a bunch of spots where she was supposed to be plucking hairs, but it was skin! You can talk all the trash about me you want just hook me up. We go to the back and before i could tell her what i wanted she threw hot wax on my eyebrow and went to town. Literally the most aggressive eyebrow waxing. Not because of the wax but literally because she treated my face like a rag doll. I asked if I could see it first before she did the second one but she refused LMAO how idk. She went to town on the second one and pulled out tweezers. She started tweezing the most random places on my eyebrow and i began to become worried. Turns out i had reason to be...my brows aren't twins, sisters, or even in the same family. I was nice and even tried to joke with her I have no clue why she would do this to me. This is literally a heinous crime. I went in and was getting my nails done for a wedding and showed him a simple colored nail with glitter on them and he had every nail a different thickness and amount of glitter. The nail technician then proceeded to mercilessly pull my old nail off to the point of making me bleed. I've only been here one time, and an older woman did my mani pedi. Pedi was fine, albeit short. Mani was AWFUL. She took the nail polish I picked out n went n put some thinning stuff in it, which made my nails come out uneven looking. And it splattered on my hands. I used to absolutely LOVE this place but my last two visits have been terrible! It saddens me to say but I think this place is starting to get very run down and the cleanliness of the building is not what it should be(if anything it is very dirty.) On my last 2 visits I have only gotten regular manicures, the first one my cuticles were so cut up and bleeding and all the tech did was just dab a cotton swab on it a bit and told me to wash my hands... I decided to give them another chance, this most recent visit they barely spent anytime cleaning up my cuticles and shaping my nails the longest the tech spent on was giving me a hand massage and even that was very gruff and didn't feel the greatest just made me uncomfortable, My friend who was with me had gotten gel nails and her tech got the color on the sides of about 3 of her fingers... neither of ours looked clean at all, if anything we will have to redo our nails very soon! On the matter of how clean it was, I was under the nail dryer and one of the techs(to clean his working space) blew on his desk and that in turn blew nail dust and cuticle cutting everywhere, it looked like a cloud of dust when he blew on it... Sad to say me and my friend will not be returning, 4 people left after they saw what they were doing with the service... Staff (especially the guy who sits at station #1) is extremely rude. They use old supplies, liquidity nail polish, and they rush when they are busy. Nail overlay do not last long causing nail coverage to either break or lift off original nail. Station #5 did my daughter's fill-in and in one week 4 of her nails came off. I took her back for repair and was told by the man at #1 her original overlay was old and that's why her fill-in came off in one week. I asked him why wasn't she told that when she got her fill-in and he said they don't always suggest new sets when needed. Well we all know that's a lie as much as they love to make money. We just moved to the area but I think we'll be looking elsewhere for a decent and more compassionate nail salon. However the facility is clean from what I 've noticed the few times I've been there.
