Normally other salons I have been to rip my cuticles up and make them bleed, but not here! Jessica the owner is super nice and always does an amazing job on my nails. They have helped customize the color for me each time and I've been so pleased with how it turned out. For Christmas, I wanted to do gray with sparkles so we found a light purplish gray to go under clear sparkles to match my plum-colored sweater and I couldn't be happier!

I mentioned this to the technician during my most recent visit, hoping for a safer experience, but still ended up with another cut. On top of that, the polish didn't even last a week. My toenails were painted poorly and my fingernails chipped with two nails just two days later. I had a positive review drafted to share before, but after these frustrating experiences, I felt compelled to share my honest feedback. This nail salon was highly recommended by a few co-workers of mine so I thought it would give it a try. They did an awesome job and the owner of the nail salon was very fast at it too. Her daughter did the nail design for me. They are so reasonable. I got a full new set of nails gel with heart design for $55.00. They did such an awesome job! They really know their customers very well here too! Which says a lot about the family that owns this nail salon that they truly care about you. They are very nice and talkative too. They didn't shed blood like most places do these days. It's very cute inside! They also do charms on nails and also have a variety of services they do here. They are original owners of the business and it was one of the only first nail salons originally until all of the others started popping up everywhere. A Disheartening Experience - I Will Not Return…read more As a Black woman and customer, I feel it's important to share an experience that left both my daughter and me feeling unwelcome and discriminated against at Ly Nail Salon in Belleville, MI. We visited the salon around noon on a Friday. I checked in with my phone number, and a young lady at the front desk asked what service we needed. I requested a polish change for myself, and my daughter wanted a manicure. A man working there came over and spoke to the young lady in a language I didn't understand. After their conversation, she told us they had no openings--not now and not for the rest of the day. That was disappointing, but honestly, I had already felt a negative energy when we walked in, so I accepted it and began to leave. As we were walking out, an older white woman walked in. Something told me to ask her if she had an appointment. My daughter and I turned around and re-entered the salon. The white woman was comfortably seated, waiting for her turn. I asked her if she had an appointment, and she politely said no. I then asked the young lady at the desk how they suddenly had an opening. Her response was, "Oh, one just became available." I reminded her that she had just told us they had no openings for the entire day. She quickly said, "We can take you now." At that moment, I told her plainly: her actions felt racist, and I would not be accepting their services. We left, and shortly afterward I received a text message from her apologizing for her behavior. While I appreciate the apology, the damage was already done. Discrimination only takes one time to do lasting harm. I will never return to Ly Nails, and I will spend my Black dollars where they are respected and welcomed--not just when someone gets caught in the act. Let this be a reminder that equal treatment matters and that every customer deserves respect--regardless of race.

I showed him a picture of dip ombré nails I wanted, and he did them perfectly! Took his time, and also fixed the shape of each nail if I thought it was a little off from the others. Great prices on manicures and pedicures! All of the employees do such a wonderful job, you will always be in good hands. The hot towels are a luxurious touch to the end of your pedicure, and the linens always smell fresh and clean.

For years my sister was the only one that could get my cut right. I have very fine , hard to cut and shape hair. Everyone else just made a mess of it. Until Whitney. I decided to try Team Design out of desperation because I did not have the time to go to Port Huron. It was the best thing I ever did. the cut I got was wonderful.
