This is a great place to go if you have no idea what you want. The menu is expansive and spans multiple cultures, while leaning heavily American. Really loud music blasts you as you come in, and made it difficult to hold a conversation. I'll never understand why restaurants do that. The service was nice, and they are attentive. That was a grace. What I didn't like though outweighed what I did. I ordered the chicken cutlet, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken supreme. The cutlets were truly subpar. Thin, dry, moderately spiced. At least the ciabatta was good because bread is most of what I tasted. The french fries, while tasty, were not included. A small order on the side cost $9.00. With a 20% tip it cost almost $60 for a mediocre lunch. I cannot recommend. read more

This is quite simply one of the best restaurants we have ever been to!!! Each dish was amazing, attentive/knowledgeable staff, excellent atmosphere.... !!! Must try if anywhere near Mt. Kisco Beet salad was perfectly prepared & seasoned with plenty of "beet nuggets" as my daughter called them. Hummus- BEST HUMMUS EVER!!! You should sell this in retail. So good... perfect amount of veggies & pita too!! Guacamole- BEST ever!!! Perfectly seasoned, not overdone or overmixed. Just lovely. Pasta was great for our picky one... cooked perfectly and with the right amoubt of butter as she requested! Oh and HOW could I forget the mozzarella donuts.... Mmmmmm... and the sauce (coming from someone who insists on only eating red sauce at home!!) was divine!!! Pretty good! Nothing outstanding here, but we also got here after the sushi bar closed, so will definitely come back for that. My favorite was the clam chowder - a great mix of not too creamy, drizzled with a olive oil, followed by the refreshing ahi tuna banh mi (served on baos) and the spicy mayo shrimp. Reminds me of Gansevoort Market on 14th St in the city, before it sadly closed. Will definitely be back for the sushi, and glad you can get such an assortment of dishes. read more

My rating is actually 4.5 but didn't believe they deserved a 4 rating. Bought lunch from Exit 4. It was the Cali Turkey sandwich (takeout). I'm overwhelmed by the numerous menu choices but this is a good type of overwhelm because I prefer having options. The sandwich was a bit pricey at over $16 but it won't stop me from returning to this place occasionally. My sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was tasty. The turkey was more of a cold-cut type of meat. I was satiated enough though it was a regular sized sandwich with half a pickle on the side. Great customer service too. Only thing I'd suggest is maybe an Order Here sign at the bar (front left) for take out because I didn't know where exactly to go and ask but I was eventually approached by staff when I walked halfway into the eatery. read more

The fish on the sushi roll tasted great and fresh but tasted premade, which can work well with certain rolls, however with tempura it's critical that it be made to order so it retains that temper crunch. This was clearly not done as the tempura was soggy. Roasted artichoke hearts were a great concept and really tasty, especially liked the pistachios and found the spicy balanced well with the honey. Mango shrimp taco were tasty but not spectacular. Roasted veggies were severely undercooked, most were practically raw with small amount of char. This would be fine for some veggies like peppers but distasteful for root vegetables. Was an impressive variety of veggies broccoli, cauliflower, fennel, turnips, carrots and probably more but was impossible to enjoy. read more

I came in on a chilly Saturday around 1:30 and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. I was greeted by the bar tender and also suggested a place to sit on the other side of the bar where she wouldn't splash making drinks which I was grateful for. I was handed a menu which are on ipads which is cool and different. I ordered the regular kombucha which was on tap and tasty. The menu is extensive so I took my time browsing. I asked the bar tender about fresh pasta and she said only the lumache pasta is made in house. I decided on the arancini and the chicken parm skillet. The arancini was definitely shareable and had a nice crunch with the lemon aioli which was different as Ive usually had then with tomato sauce but without the aioli they were a little bland. The chicken parm skillet came out piping hot and definitely a large serving in the cast iron skillet. The top definitively had enough cheese and sauce melted but the fresh pasta on the bottom was a but watery and did not have as much sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I took the leftovers come and asked about an extra side of sauce for the pasta. I would come back to try all the different things on the menu and the service was good. read more

We were a group of ten. Despite the restaurant being empty, and multiple regular night tables being available, we were told we had to eat at a high top. Because two of our party could not sit on the high chairs, they had to stand for their meal. Drinks took forever, like sometimes 30-45 minutes (for different drinks. The bar staff seemed totally disinterested in serving drinks. Food came in a random order and was delivered to the wrong people. We could not hear each other over the very loud music. The vegetarian options were few and boring (more carbs than proteins). Staff took no responsibility for mixed meals or missing drinks and were surly and confrontational. We went to try the poke bowl and sushi but the night we went they didn't have either of them available. So just know some nights sushi is not available! We ended up ordering some appetizers of shrimp ceviche and a delicious spicy fried shrimp. Our waitress was so helpful with substitutions for allergies in our party. Overall the steaks were cooked perfectly at a medium rare and we will definitely be back to try the sushi and poke bowls! I have always been a fan of Exit 4. The food is consistently good. The burgers are delicious. Their pizza is one of my favorites. The tomatoes on the Margarita Pizza are so flavorful, and it is not drowning in cheese. Usually the service is outstanding. Sitting at the bar is comfortable, and welcoming. Not bad. We stopped in as we were in the area and ordered online because it was great to be able to order from one place for such a variety of dishes. I got the pork belly bibimbap, kiddo got the spicy rigatoni with meatballs (no spice so it was bland the way she likes it), and hubby got a lasagna to try and save me from cooking for the week. Except we didn't get lasagna at all. To my dismay they just made a bigger container of the child bland rigatoni and the kitchen passed it off as lasagna. I didn't think to check but it was certainly a huge disappointment upon getting home. Would've take us another 1.5 hours to head back and forth to pick up the correct order so got a partial refund. Was seated immediately on a Sunday around lunch time. Menu was decent sized and had lots of options. We ended up sharing several appetizers rather than doing entrees. The mac and cheese donut wasn't very flavorful. It seemed like the breadcrumbs lacked seasoning. Polenta fries has a great texture and taste was good. The Buffalo chicken dip was good too. TL;DR BEST GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD: GLUTEN FREE FOCCACCIA PIE (AKA GRANDMA'S CRUST) If you want the full story: Several years ago I discovered that I was gluten intolerant: "Non-Celiac Gluten Intolerance" I get all the symptoms of Celiac without having the disease. I wasn't happy; it meant some of my favorite foods were now inaccessible, specifically beer and pizza. There are only a handful of places in Mount Kisco that have gluten-free beer -- Exit 4 is one of them. Almost any pizzeria will have a gluten-free pizza, apparently they all get the premade dough from the same source, so they are all about the same, not much better than a store-bought frozen gluten-free pizza. Then something amazing happened: Exit 4 put a new gluten-free pizza on the menu sometime in the first few months of 2024. At the time, I think it was called Grandma's Crust" (It looks like it's now called a foccaccia pie) It was literally the best pizza I'd had in years! If it's pizza-night in our house, it's definitely a trip to Exit 4 for this excellent pizza and a beer. If are gluten intolerant and want a pizza, this is the place to go, you will not be disappointed. read more

The sandwiches did not come with fries; it was $10 to add them per order. The bibimbap was good but untraditional; the sandwich and fries were definitely not worth $27. Honestly, it was gross. It was an $8 plate of chopped and cooked cauliflower with Korean style sauce poured on it. First time at Exit 4, which holds the incredible trifecta of amazing food, service & professionalism. The intrigue of a sushi donut lured my son for a birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint! Mama was concerned about snagging an outdoor table on the first 70-degree day of the year, with hungry kids in tow. (They don't take reservations, and it's a 25-minute drive for us.) Natalie (host?) and Melanie (server) are awesome! They helped ease concerns & went out of their way to accommodate, including bringing another table outside upon arrival. Promptly we ordered shrimp dumplings, shaved brussel sprouts (w/ pancetta, spicy honey & ricotta), & edamame. For entrees we had the crispy duck pizza (w/ stracciatella, shiitake, scallions, sweet chili & cilantro), (they're pizza dough is ), bibimbap rice skillet (w/ duck & gochujang) & of course, the sushi donut (fresh & delicious). After dinner, they happily served the cake we brought, which they planted a fancy sparkler candle in & sang "Happy Birthday". Melanie & the whole team were so friendly & helpful in crafting a great experience. FYI it's on the main road, so no parking lot, but it's easy to find street parking. The ambiance inside is like a cool, modern nautical vibe, with a rowboat hanging over the oyster bar & vintage-bulb string lights. This menu really has something for everyone.
