I decided to try a new place compared to the usual place I go to and that was a mistake. Colors are very limited when they tell you to choose a color at the front. All I got was a simple pedicure and it took nearly 2 hours. My nails are very uneven on closer inspection and for how long I've been getting pedicures, this is the first time I've actually been cut. They kept putting some liquid over and over on the cut without explaining what it even was; I can only assume it was some kind of antiseptic fluid. Not to mention, I don't see the point of wearing masks if they're being worn incorrectly. I wouldn't even mind it being worn below the nose so much if it weren't for the fact that the person doing my nails had a runny nose and kept wiping their nose with their hands and then going back to doing my nails and touching my feet without cleaning their hands. read more

This time I got a natural looking pink and white ombré ($45). Lien did such a good job and is so sweet. She took her time and made them look so natural and beautiful. Base price for a basic pedicure is $25. I find that on the pricier side. There's also a $3 extra charge if you use the OPI Infinite Shine wall. I posted pictures for you to see what picture from Pinterest I showed the ladies how I wanted my nails to look like. Just the paint of the white tip I wanted to be more triangle. The nail tech said yes no problem. I repetitively asked her if she can do it. Then at the end you can see she gave me traditional rounded French tip paint not triangle like I asked. She told me it looked better this way. That is not the point I paid $60 for something I did not ask for. And the owner had mentioned in the reply to my post that she did not charge me for taking Time on my nails that were about to fall off. I paid $60 with $10 tip. I was charged five dollars to have a nail removed when you were fixing my nails, and now one week later I have to physically remove my nail myself due to an infection you gave me. I've been to this salon about 4 times now. The first two times, I got simple mani/pedis and was mostly happy with the service and result - pretty basic and got the job done. The past two times, I've had terrible experiences with my pedicure. There is an elderly lady there that doesn't seem to understand how to paint nails. I had chosen a nude polish for my toenails, and with the first coat that she applied, it was uneven and bumpy. I asked her to fix it, and she continued to apply a second and third coat, making it even worse, and then yelled at me when I asked her to please remove it. Another specialist came over to look and told me that it was because of the nail polish I had chosen, and it was not their fault. I asked them to change it, to which the response was to come back on another day and they would change the polish for me. ANOTHER DAY. I went home, removed the polish and repainted my toes myself. I gave the place another shot a few weeks ago and had a similar experience. The lady that did my luxury pedicure was very good, gave me a great foot massage, and was very diligent. At some point, she got called over to another customer, and I was left with the SAME elder lady from last time to paint my toenails. Again, another terrible job painting my toenails, didn't add a top coat, and then yelled at me at the end telling me I was done and to leave. Don't think I'll be going back here again, especially not when I am paying close to $100 for an experience like that. read more

Very friendly staff. I had a group of three come in for three pedis and a mani. My friend got the mani. We all got gel, costs $15 extra on top of the charge for the pedi. While we were choosing the colors from the basket of gel colors, two of us chose "cat eye" color. The service was good, I just had a couple of constructive points that may be a deal breaker for some, not me. 1) When removing dead skin they use this mechanical nail buffer on the heal of your feet (looks similar to the ones used for full set nails), rather than the sponge thing other salons use. If you want a full experience with all the removal of the dead skin, maybe ask if they can use something else, like an actual dead skin remover tool. 2) Picking out gel color, they add extra $5 for "cat eye" polish. I did not know about the extra $5 charge until I was finished and handing over my credit card. I obviously couldn't go back and say oo I take it back, but I liked the color. I think they should be more transparent about this extra charge. Parking may be a challenge on occasion. I paid $50 for a pedi, it's in the higher end but I got gel, usually they last for a long time. I would've expected more of a massage, the set I got was set B, or Set 2 in the pedi menu. with a 7 minute massage, it was a whole 2-3 minutes tops. The atmosphere is nice, very friendly staff, you can tell they have a handful of regulars which says only good things. I didn't give 5 stars for the above mentioned reasons. But after 3 weeks, my toes are still looking good. The polish is not chipped and the shape of the nail they did was perfect. read more
