I've been to this salon three times now, and every single visit, my nails have turned out beautifully. The quality of their work is consistently excellent: clean shaping and good polish choices, and a clean and pleasant environment. The techs are friendly and detail-oriented. One thing to note for anyone booking online: if you're scheduling a manicure and pedicure to be done simultaneously with two technicians, to get in and out quickly, I recommend calling ahead to confirm. All three of my visits were specifically booked that way, but each time they assigned only one tech, which meant my appointments ran really long and I ended up having to cancel work meetings and be seriously late for another appointment. They continued to accept walk-ins, which I understand, but it was a bit frustrating that my 1-hour appointment took over 2 hours. It's still a great salon with wonderful service; just plan on budgeting extra time or double-check your booking if you're in a rush. I'll keep coming back, but I will be sure to call ahead next time to confirm. read more

I just finished with a pedicure with Sarah. First when I told her my last pedicure was 7 weeks ago she didn't believe me. I had gel polish and said there is no way gel last that long. To me that was rude. Then I brought my own color, and when she finish, she had to be reminded that I wanted my bottle back. She painted 2 coats of color over the base. And then she left the salon. She didn't say I'll be right back nothing. I waited 10 mins. Asked another tech, don't you do top coat, she said yes but looked like I was asking for an additional service. I asked where Sarah went, but she said she just left. I paid for my service, but will never recommend or return to this salon. Terrible customer service. Who leaves a client sitting in a pedicure chair without a word. This place should be closed. read more

I had one hour between my daughter's appointments to get a mani pedi before an event. I requested an appt and explained the time constraint. The owner said he would make sure there were enough people there for both my daughter (7) and I to have mani pedis in that short time frame. Long story short, we definitely were done in time, and the nails look amazing! I got glass nails and my daughter had strawberries painted on, and even with those extras, they were done on time, with a smile. Everyone we worked with was super kind, really sweet to my daughter, and worked efficiently. My daughter can be shy, but she was so happy and comfortable here. There aren't enough words to describe how INCREDIBLE Sarah is!! I first came here in January after a year of getting dip powder somewhere else and my nails were so fragile and broken that I couldn't even run them under warm water without them hurting. I came to Nail Bar Too on a whim to see if someone had advice and Sarah immediately knew what to do. We spent several months getting them healthy again with regular naked manicures and finally was able to do gel builder this time around. I so appreciated how she didn't try to upsell me on an expensive service that could "fix" my nails which other places have tried to do in the past. She explained the science behind how nail beds work and what to look for to know if they need to breathe or not. I will never trust someone else with nails again! Facial at Nail Bar Too in Los Altos I highly recommend having a facial with Leona. Yesterday I went in for a hydrating/firming facial. This treatment included a facial peel, collagen stimulation and skin hydration. My skin looked so healthy, smooth and bright when she was finished and fine lines were reduced. Leona uses high end skin creams from Switzerland and collagen stimulating tools from France. She takes great care in giving you the best service and even recommends skin products and tools you can get for yourself if you'd like to maintain these results.
