After searching for a Pest Control service provider to aid us in the removal of a dead rodent underneath our home--called three service providers who could not offer their services--we came across Excel Pest Management. From the moment I connected with their office late in the evening, the office representative I believe her name was Sherryl), was very helpful and professional. She listened to our needs and was compassionate about our dilemma. The next day I connected with the supervisor, Luis. We were immediately offered a time for service, between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Roughly a little past 1 p.m. I got the call that Luis was on his way. UPDATE: After making this review I was able to get in contact with some people from the company. It seems if you are a resident in an apartment they aren't supposed to talk with your directly, which I wish they would have just communicated from the beginning instead of just not returning our calls, especially since our questions were relatively simple but time sensitive. I do feel that is important for others to know as well so they do not have the confusion I had. I think if you are a homeowner or a business owner you'd have a great experience and I would recommend them for that, but I do think the experience as a renter leaves some to be desired. Again I would like to reiterate that everyone we talked to was very nice, but there just seemed to be some breakdowns in communication that could have very easily been solved on their part. The second time they came we didn't receive any type of after care instructions despite them using a different type of poison than the time previously when they did provide instructions. They also didn't seem to have records of my husband's previous calls, which again I don't think is a problem with the business itself but rather a breakdown in communication between them and the call service they hired, and would possibly make sense why we weren't receiving a call back from them. Original Review: I'm sad to say this is one of the most unresponsive businesses I've ever worked with. They seem to use a 3rd party call service to answer their calls and we have yet to hear back from the actual business despite leaving multiple messages for them. Excel Pest completed my project with pride in workmanship and professionalism. During my remodel, I've had some delays due to the coronavirus and birds began to enter my home and make nests inside my walls as the property was vacated. I've been hearing something in my attic for the past 6 months and it's freaking me out . I've called multiple pest companies to take care of it and they still couldn't catch or get rid of it (I was starting to think it was a ghost). A friend of mine recommended Excel, so I tried it. After getting quotes from approximately 7 companies, we are glad to have found Excel and especially Luis and Jose. The other companies, after inspection, were unable to locate the source of the problem. Luis was the only one that was able to suss out the entry point. They have come by twice to spread granules to get rid of the grubs in our front and backyard. After it set, it stopped raccoons from digging up our yard to get the grubs. I could not be happier, I had a pretty bad gopher problem in my front and back yard I saw one of the techs working in our landscaping area outside my office building he gave me one of his business cards and when I got home I called him and he was able to come out during the weekend to accommodate my busy work schedule. He said the issue was pretty bad and that it would take three consecutive treatments plus a monthly service to control them as they are coming from the hillside and adjacent homes.
