We contacted BugWars Pest Control to come out and help with cockroaches finding their way into our house when the weather heats up. Chris, the owner, came out and did a thorough look around our house and found 2 areas where they could come in from. He filled in those gaps and did a thorough spray around the perimeter of the house. He also went around and got rid of any cobwebs he came across. I reached out to him to help with my parents' house since there's a bit of cricket infestation in the yards and inside the house. In the first round, he sprayed both exterior and interior of the property, which definitely had curbed the bugs from summer to fall. Additionally, I noticed yellow jackets flying around in the backyard and discovered a nest in-between the roof and eaves. When the technician(Matthew) arrived, he thoroughly explained the scope of work he would be performing that day and took the time to listen to my concerns and expectations. He was very informative and knowledgeable about pest control, including the types of insects that are common during the summer and specific to our area. When I mentioned the presence of spider webs around the house--even on high beams that are barely visible from ground level--he made sure to remove them thoroughly and with care. The result made the entire exterior of the house look refreshed and well-maintained. I used Bug Wars a year ago and then about a month ago. A year ago they came out, found the source of the ants and they were gone within a few days. Very pleased with their service and so called them again this year when the ants reappeared. This time the owner's assistant came out rather than the owner, Chris. He did not find the source of the ants and did a general treatment. It didn't take care of the problem. He returned, and again found no source did a treatment and ants were still there. On the third time, Chris came himself , he did find a source as well as we allowed him to do an inside treatment which we had not allowed previously. The ants were gone within a few days. Chris is very responsive and easy to work with. On this last time I just wish in retrospect that he had come at least the second time and located the source. Then we wouldn't have needed to do an inside treatment. We agreed to that just so that we would not have to potentially have a fourth visit.
