First of all it took them 5 times coming back to fix the ant problem in the house since the houses in my area are known for that. My previous pest control company it took 1 time! I have a cleaning lady that comes every 2 weeks I keep my house clean so that wasn't the issue. Second this guy jumped my $5k custom gate on the side a couple months ago which he admitted today and since then I have had issues with my gate. I realized he went to my home and literally was going to do it again because my neighbor called. This man is not small man he looks to be almost 300 pounds so all of that weight on my gate I am just in shock a company would even allow this!!! This guy had the audacity to call me and tell me his manager was at the dentist and he had to assist me! Yea right your boss needs to give me a call cancel my services and refund me! I am so over this company! Do no whatever you do /sign up with them! The crazy part is I had to step out of an office meeting to call Jeff and I couldn't remember the code to the gate which was already unlocked but he locked it when he attempted to put another code in the gate! So I told him you know what you need to come back another day! He responds oh well I guess we'll come back sometime in between the valley and here that sounds super convenient! He literally said this so loud that my neighbor heard! Just to add I did reach out to them and the owner called back left a message saying he was going to cancel the account and to take care! They do not care about your experience!

I'd like to update my review since my first stellar review was for the initial estimate process…read moreonly and I said I would update (but forgot). It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

The technician came and left a trap which as far as I can tell has been very infective. Given that I called to schedule an inspection. The time I was give my the coordinator was not conveyed to the technician as I waited 1/2 a day for him to contact me. It took 5 calls to the company to get a callback over a VOIP connection that was barely intelligible. The coordinator was able to get me in touch with the technician whose window for my appointment was 12 hours (as opposed to the 4 hour window I was given. While the scheduled services work well... communication (at last as of late) is sorely lacking and difficult. I would proceed with caution and am considering taking my business elsewhere as a result of this interaction. ADDENDUM: within an hour of placing this, the technician, Leon arrived. He provided a careful review of the situation and prepared a very reasonable plan to handle the issue. Customer service also called and apologized and acknowledged the error. It was good to see that the company was very responsive given what happened. They did right by me and I will continue my business with them.

I didn't want to use poison, and I didn't want my dog affected. Just a quick kill. Thankfully I found Smart Gopher Trapping. The technician was great, and I got a text each time he was coming. It took a while to get rid of the gophers, but persistence paid off. I then opted for monthly maintenance which I just stopped after a month of no activity so I can have a landscaper re-do my lawn and install gopher wire barrier. Excellent company!

Unfortunately, this was, without question, the worst contractor experience I've ever had. I found Green Rodent Restoration through Nextdoor after seeing their positive reviews and the mention of potential SCE rebates. Although I later learned I didn't qualify for the rebate, I decided to move forward because the estimate and scope of work made sense. Rony was very thorough in explaining the process. During the attic work, including the insulation installation, my home sustained three separate areas of ceiling damage, including one where a worker stepped completely through the ceiling. When I raised my concerns, the foreman suggested it was because there weren't enough boards in the attic for the crew to walk on. As the homeowner, I hired professionals because I expected they knew how to safely perform this type of work. Before the crew left, I was told the attic fan would need to be rescheduled because of an issue. This only came up after they had already asked me for payment. Had I not pushed back, I believe they would have left without completing a major part of the project. When I questioned it, the foreman was dismissive rather than taking ownership of the situation. What disappointed me most was the lack of respect for my property. The crew shook a blanket full of insulation and debris into my front yard. When Green Rodent Restoration sent a contractor to repair the damage, the experience didn't improve. The contractor used my bathroom without cleaning up afterward, dumped dirty mop water containing soap and debris into my front yard, left drywall dust throughout my home, and I later discovered fresh scrapes on my staircase railing that were not there before. While the ceiling repairs are better than the original damage, they still don't look like a professional finished product. The cleanup and overall attention to detail also fell well below what I expected. In my opinion, Green Rodent Restoration should have had a supervisor or foreman present while the restoration work was being completed to ensure it was done properly. Communication afterward has been equally disappointing, and I have had to follow up repeatedly throughout this process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Green Rodent Restoration. My advice is to take your time, compare several companies, and don't make your decision based solely on reviews or the possibility of rebates. I only wish I had shopped around more before making my decision.

I was already frustrated with the whole situation. The ladies did their thing but it definitely was not worth the $420 price tag. I'm still picking things off the floor, there was a dirt mark left on my brand new painted walls and just saw a scratch and my brand new painted floor boards. Then I was asked for payment and the lady stood on top of me till it was made. Definitely would recommend them to get things more organized and would not hire again unfortunately. UPDATE - the house is large if you don't think 2,200 sq ft is large, then I'm not sure what you would considered a large home. I also said once as you claim I repeat. I have 5 bedrooms., 3 full bathrooms. I didn't realize I had to request English speaking, shouldn't you ask if that's something I need? I was desperate and he totally could have gotten me to pay anything he said I needed to do to get the report I needed. Two days later, we closed. Now, sadly the house burned in the Altadena fire 100 days later. So here I am 10 months later trying to buy a new home and Kevin refers me to a great termite fumigation company, helps me make sure the pest removal service I'm getting while in escrow isn't ripping me off, etc. He took time today to answers 5-6 messages and I wish I lived closer to Sylmar. The first spray was great I didn't see no activity but they still came bat 15 days later to do another treatment. Now I hired them for monthly services. The biggest issues were professionalism and care of the unit. On one visit, the technician made statements implying I was the source of the bed bugs that I "brought them in." Regardless of cause, that kind of blame felt inappropriate and unhelpful, especially when the problem appears broader than one unit. On the most recent visits, my apartment was left in worse condition than before the room was left heavily disturbed, there was noticeable residue left behind, and afterward I observed damage that was not present prior to service window covering, curtain damage and new scratches scuffs on my wood floors and furniture. This was a stressful experience, and I expected better care and communication especially after repeated visits. Because of the repeated issues, the condition my unit was left in, and the way the situation was handled, I would not recommend this company.
