Steve owns this small business, which is a world away from the big pest control companies, who generally give you "free" inspections but then push their services. Steve is really honest. If you have to pay for an inspection, you can be sure that Steve will tell you the real deal. But what really amazed me is how he pulled off a miracle: I have a large antique cabinet that had tiny wood-boring beetles. Ew! The "fix" for this is either days of nasty chemical treatments or a few hours in extreme heat. Obviously, I preferred heat to chemicals, but a big company quoted me thousands of dollars. And I wanted this done ASAP to get rid of these insects before they spread to the rest of my house. Steve found someone who was doing a heat treatment on their condo about 20 minutes away and also found movers to take the piece to that condo -- the very next day. Long story short, through his own efforts (on a Sunday, yet!) he got my piece heat treated for a fraction of the cost of other companies. We got lucky: The stars all aligned for this. I walked out on my sunporch and saw a swarm of subterranean termites coming out the side of the house. I called my regular pest control and he said it would be a few days (maybe). So I started a project on Yelp and instantly started getting pings. Steve was one of the first to respond with an all 5star rating so I called him. He was professional and informative. He saw the photos I had uploaded to Yelp and explained what kind of termites they were, how they functioned and what it would take to treat them. He asked a few questions about the size of the house, crawl space and where I was located and then gave me an estimate. I thought it sounded fair. I have a cousin in another state that works in pest control and he said go with it. Steve said I could get other estimates and let him know. He was available to come the next morning so I booked him. The next morning he was running about 30 minutes behind but he text to let me know well in advance and arrived at the updated time, with his assistant Marcus. They were just the nicest people. He explained what he was going to look for, what the possibilities were, and how long it would take. He also explained if there were any serious damage to the subfloor or foundation he had a contractor he could recommend. Well we caught it early and I didn't need the contractor. Steve & Marcus sprayed and set up bait around the perimeter of the house and explained the warranty. He also found dry wood termites in another area of the house and sprayed for those as well as the spiders I begged him to spray for. After he left he sent me a video of the bait system that explained termites and how the system worked to get rid of them, and emailed me my receipt. Great experience for a bad situation. Discovered that rats had broken into the attic and crawl space. They destroyed our flexible ducts of our AC unit. Steve was very responsive. Fair priced and did not try and oversell. It's nice to know some ppl are good at their jobs are aren't trying to rip ppl off in their time of need. We had to spend money for the AC repair so was important to keep costs down. We had to do some remodeling work, which involved removing a one - piece shower stall, and when the plumbers took out the shower they realized there were not only ants but termites inside the wall! I was referred to Steve by another termite treatment company, and when I called him, the timing was just perfect because he was literally able to go over within one hour and do a spot treatment of the walls that had been exposed in the bathroom. After the plumbers were finished, Steve came back and did a full subterranean treatment under the house as well as spot treating on exterior rafters that showed some termite damage. We really appreciated his willingness to come at the last minute and he was better priced than another company that was supposed to come the following week. In fact, the other company told me that when they do a wall treatment for termites, it "takes three months to become effective" which raised a major red flag for me. Unexpectedly, as a result of a lot of work under the house, there was an access point and a rat got through into the house. Again, Steve came immediately to help us with this new and very unexpected problem, setting traps and checking access points on the perimeter of the exterior of the house, as well as on the inside. Steve is very knowledgeable, honest, and very reasonably priced. Steve even came out a third time on short notice to check a cabinet in the kitchen that sounded like there was a rat scratching inside, but he did not see anything. One of the traps placed under the house in the crawlspace, had been tripped, but there was nothing in it so he reset it. I would definitely recommend Steve to family, friends, and neighbors! We had bees coming into our house from the chimney. I know it was a holiday weekend, but I started calling bee removers. Nobody answered our call. Then Quality Quest sent a text that Steve was available to talk. I was so grateful that someone offered to help. We set up an appointment for next day which was perfect. Cameron came out, checked the chimney, and said there wasn't a hive present. He sprayed & advised to keep the dog away from the chimney for several hours, as the bees would fall to the ground & the dog could step on them.
