If I could give 0 stars I would. The only reason I am not currently signed up with my previous pest control who I absolutely adored is because their schedule got full after I left for a year out of state and came back. First of all it took them 5 times coming back to fix the ant problem in the house since the houses in my area are known for that. My previous pest control company it took 1 time! I have a cleaning lady that comes every 2 weeks I keep my house clean so that wasn't the issue. Second this guy jumped my $5k custom gate on the side a couple months ago which he admitted today and since then I have had issues with my gate. I realized he went to my home and literally was going to do it again because my neighbor called. This man is not small man he looks to be almost 300 pounds so all of that weight on my gate I am just in shock a company would even allow this!!! This guy had the audacity to call me and tell me his manager was at the dentist and he had to assist me! Yea right your boss needs to give me a call cancel my services and refund me! I am so over this company! Do no whatever you do /sign up with them! The crazy part is I had to step out of an office meeting to call Jeff and I couldn't remember the code to the gate which was already unlocked but he locked it when he attempted to put another code in the gate! So I told him you know what you need to come back another day! He responds oh well I guess we'll come back sometime in between the valley and here that sounds super convenient! He literally said this so loud that my neighbor heard! Just to add I did reach out to them and the owner called back left a message saying he was going to cancel the account and to take care! They do not care about your experience! read more

Would definitely recommend this company for timely, friendly and HONEST rodent inspections. Jeff personally called to let us know that the house and attic were appropriately sealed by a previous rodent proofing project. The only issue was that the traps had not been removed. Despite having agreed to rodent proof the house, he informed us that this service was not necessary. I highly recommend them for their honesty and integrity. Thank you so much. read more

This is a really bad summer for pests, so it's good to have someone who is willing to explain how they work, what products they use and why, and give overall tips for helping keep pests down to a minimum. Great and speedy work. Jeff just came by on Monday to spray and by the next day we found dead roaches and black widows that we had no idea were hiding (thankfully outside). Since we've signed up with 1st Response, the inside of our house has been bug free. To add, at one point in the past we had something in the house that was really attracting bees (to the point that they were trying to come in through our oven vent. We called 1st Response and they came that very same day. They did not leave until the problem was fixed. Highly recommend. read more

For the first time since moving to SoCal, we found our house being invaded by rats and mice as we had a hoarder a few doors down who had to have her house de-junked along with all the attic insulation. That sent the rodents in THEIR house to the neighbors. I contacted our landlord who contacted First Response. Jeff and his crew were at our house within 1 day. Jeff has a very thorough and agile young man on his crew that went through the entire attic (while it was extremely hot) to the farthest reaches with a camera. He was able to find several openings that were left from the original build that you could only spot from the inside due to the daylight showing through. He was completely soaked with sweat when he came down BUT he was VERY meticulous. In just a couple hours, they found all the entry points. The next morning they showed uprightat 9:00am with ALL the correct materials to screen and seal every entry point and then set a few snap traps. Within two hours of their departure, The traps dispatched the first rat. In combination with some glue traps I had bought before they were called and with the traps they installed, we dispatched 3 huge rats and 10 mice. They came back a week later and found one more. We have not had a single intruder in a month. Another exterminator was in the area who was called by neighbors but they do not patch the difficult to reach entry points. You have to contact a handy-man. Jeff and his First Response crew does it ALL. They also handle bee infestations and when possible, they will safely collect the bees and re-home them with a beekeeper as opposed to poisoning them. Top notch company and great folks to work with. HIGHLY recommended. read more

I actually did not have to end up using 1st response, thankfully. I had a small rat that found his way into our home and decided he would like to make this his home as well (nope not happening here) I called 1st response and got a call back within a half hour. He told me how to catch the little bugger and it worked. If I'm ever in need of a pest control service I will definitely be calling 1st response. Truly grateful for the help I received. read more

I love 1st response pest control, they are always so kind and very informative and always answer any questions I might have.

The first time we had 1st Response out was last year (Feb 2020) when we had an ant invasion. Jeff took care of the problem and it was a full year, almost to the day, before we saw ants return inside our home. Once again, Jeff & a team member came out to tackle our ant problem. They were both polite, professional, willing to explain what they were doing, and kind to our inquisitive dogs. That's another thing, they use pet friendly products if you ask them to. That was important to us. Both times we had them out, we've been super pleased with 1st Response's service, the fact that they confirm their appointment & alert us to their estimated arrival, their polite & informative response to our questions, & the (of course) final results. read more

We moved in to our mobile home 2 years ago and have dealt with ants taking over our home. We tried everything organic and natural possible. Why? Because we don't believe in Toxic harmful chemicals. That's why we avoided Pest control services as an option. We also own pets that we would not want to harm. This summer I couldn't take it anymore so decided to do my research. I am sooo happy to say I found the Perfect company for us. They offer non toxic solutions with 100% guarantee to get rid of those pests! It has been about a month since our service was done and we haven't seen not One Ant!! Thanks to the owner Jeff for having an honest, reasonable priced business that stands behind their products and services. Try them out, You won't regret it! read more

I have been using 1st response for several years now, and am incredibly happy with their service. When we originally decided try a pest control company, we had a bad black widow problem. It seemed like during the summer nights, we couldn't go outside without finding numerous black widows on our porch and in our garage. Not only that, but we were getting some ants, and lots of earwigs and silver fish. We couldn't believe how much pest activity we were having, my wife was freaking out! When we first gave 1st response a call, we liked them right away. They were polite and knowledgeable. They gave us a quote and came to meet us. We literally have not seen a single black widow on our property since we hired them, had virtually no other pests either! It's amazing what a difference it makes. Jeff is always on time, incredibly friendly, and is always willing to take the time to explain what they are doing, and what they are looking for on that particular visit. If you are considering a pest control company, you can't possibly go wrong with 1st response. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more
