My first experience over a year ago with KC we had just had our little Yorkie save my fiancé from certain doom of a spider. We had just finished up renovating and stirred up a bunch of insects. I found scorpions the yard, one in the bathroom . I went through an ant infestation that took weeks to clear up. I was done. Since then we have not had issues in my home. When my husky found the huge tarantula on our hill, KC was out there spraying too to ease my mind. Even with all the rain, and then fires we had here I haven't had any unwanted guests. We just recently moved in to a new home in West Palmdale and I received a New Homeowner offer from a competing company for pest control. I researched that company and based upon their positive reviews I called to take advantage of the offer. After a few phone calls they kept giving me the run around to find the technician assigned to my address. After I mentioned that I received the offer, I never heard back from them. He came as scheduled and went over everything with me. We had just had some summer rain, so we were having a major ant problem. Once again we got hit by the European bees this month. This will be the 3rd time. First time was in 2017 and Jeff from First response took care of that for us. He's been coming in our place for other pest control maintenance every month since then, 2nd Bee nesting is April of this year and I immediately called Jeff and Mark and they came right away and did some dusting and African bees were gone. Two months after, bees strikes again and of course we got it taken cared off. Jeff and his nephew Mark made sure that the bees were controlled and contacted us several times to check for more bees roaming around ad they came back to take care of it. Jeff & 1st Response Pest control are AWESOME. We have no pests at all now and in the beginning there were several - spiders, earwigs, roaches outside, flies, and wasps. I had Orkin before this and was having a difficult time getting response from them and had what I thought was fleas. Mind you we don't have pets. My fiancé was getting bit and I was stressed out. Jeff gave me a call and went through a checklist of things and explained to me what he thought might have happened since fleas aren't common in my area. I received a one time service last month after finding my kitchen getting infested with ants. I sent a message through Yelp to obtain a couple quotes. I received a quick response from my message here on Yelp and called to make a appointment. They had appointments available the next day. I set an appointment for 2 days later and I received a text once when they were on route and about 15 mins away. Jeff and his coworker arrived to the home and inspected the situation. Jeff provided me with tips and tricks on how tackle pest infestation, while he sprayed all the window sills and his coworker sprayed the outside, checked for ant hills and removed spider webs, etc. The service was quick and I felt confident in their work and the tips Jeff provided me with. He even gave me some ant bait in case the ants returned after being sprayed. He warned me this could happen since most likely the ants were in the walls and we would need to tackle them with bait to kill the source. Sure enough later that day I saw even more ants come out of the walls and I freaked out. Thankfully the bait Jeff gave me with worked wonders! By the next day, all the ants were gone! It has now been a little over a month and I haven't had any other issues or seen any ants, spiders or outside roaches. If I do find pests outside they're usually already dead.
