I call to find out why they didn't show up last week as the contact says the 1st of every other month and if you get upset the supervisor Jason says I don't know what and who pissed you off this is how you speak to a customer as a supervisor really. Dewey orst pest control. The guy came buy telling me that they are spraying in my neighborhood so I said ok. The very next day and I do mean the next day, my kitchen counter was full of little brown ants also known grease ants. There was absolutely there was no food. I had my butter dish with a lid, I went to butter my toast and it looked like a small pieced dodo Instead of the Yellow color it should be. That was about 3 weeks ago. This morning around 3am my kitchen counter had the big black ants. I am refusing to pay any thing because before your company we had no spiders, little black Beatles, (outside the large black ants) now. I WILL NOT PAY YOU BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS BAD. My elderly mother lives in a retirement community. Sadly the community couldn't resolve her cockroach problem - i would come over and see 15 roaches a day in the open. I called Dewey and they sent Victor over - who is amazing. Like the perfect worker. He has great heart for the company he works for and represents them very well. He even took the time to talk my mom like she's his family. I mean that's so powerful of a gesture. She's 90 years old and has dementia... and she enjoyed his visits. I called them initially for an ant problem which was resolved; I have also called on them for a termite inspection and I have continued with bi-monthly preventive maintenance; doing so keeps spiders, bugs, ants, and silverfish out of my home. The customer service representatives are friendly, and my service technician, Andy, is professional and knowledgeable. When Andy arrives, he will ask questions to determine what he may need to focus on, and he listens to address any concerns I may have. I have two properties and Lancaster both of which I have serviced by Dewey pest control. I recently had an infestation and they came in came again until it was eradicated. They are very conscientious very thoughtful and very responsive. I wouldn't use anybody else. So sad to have to give them 2 stars...my previous technician was Jason Wallis and he was amazing... but this is due to the fact that EVERY time I call someone tells me " oh yes we'll have someone call you and or come out" and no one makes that follow up. I have called for 1 week straight and they keep saying the same thing..."someone will call you". So they come out and spray..but these bugs are still entering and some are unbothered with the spray so I had to go out and purchase Ortho Home Defense...its ridiculous that I have to go back behind them and spray...so I'm paying twice..once for them and again when I purchase the home spray...SMH... read more

Not very happy with our first experience with Dewey. We paid $200 to have them come out and spray and signed a year contract. The very next day and days after we had several spiders and pincher bugs in our house, still had huge spiders and bugs in our garage and right outside our door and in our yard. This was after he said they spray 30 feet out from our home. I called Dewey on Monday, July 2nd and of course got their answering service. Left a message with my contact information and what the problem was and never got a call back. I called the following Monday and luckily someone answered the phone. I told her that I had left a message with their answering service a week prior and no one called me back. She completely ignored what I just had told her and just said, how can I help you? No I'm sorry you didn't receive a call back, nothing!! Zero care or empathy after we just paid $200 and still had lots of bugs both inside and outside our house. She arranged to have them come back out and spray again 2 days later. When he came, my husband explained what was going on since they came to spray the first time only a few weeks prior. He had the nerve to tell my husband "it's nothing that they did wrong, that it's hot and so the bugs are going to come in". Well then why pay hundreds of dollars and sign a year contract if we're going to have bugs inside and outside anyway? He sprayed again, but I didn't like that he told us that comment. We weren't even upset when he came, we just wanted him to spray again. He sprays again and a couple days later, we find several spiders in our garage and other bugs still near the perimeter of our house. So we had to go to Home Depot and get pest control spray and since then my husband has sprayed the perimeter of our house, our garage and the window sills/doorways etc himself. Why should we be paying hundreds of dollars a year to have to spray ourselves? And then when we call to let Dewey know, there's no one to answer the phone and then zero care when no one called us back. But when I called to schedule the first service and sign a contract, suddenly the phone was answered and they were out practically the next day to get our $200 and sign a contract. I have the names of both of these individuals, but I will refrain from posting them publicly. We are not happy. We paid all of this money, are stuck in a contract for a year and now my husband is going to have to spray anyway. read more

I've had Dewey for years now and I'm very unhappy with their service. I had ants invading my bathroom on Saturday morning so I called for service. Apparently they do not work on weekends and no emergency service. So if you have problems over the weekend just welcome those insects in your home until Monday. I'm going to cancel their service and find a company that service you on the weekend. read more

Extremely disappointed with the customer service i've left emails - no answer and called to speak to a supervisor and still no service. When they come it's ok....but the technician just showed up with out an appointment confirmation ) I wasn't home) and then did not follow up to actually provide the service i paid for ...on top of that the only reason I knew he came was my security cameras . I do my due diligence to make follow up calls ...so what else i'm i supposed to do. I shouldn't have to chase down something that is already paid for. Called in to Schedule an appointment. They have different options depending on what you would like I went with the every three months. They in Luis and he did an amazing job explaining things. The day he came to check out our ant situation there were many all over the house. He sprayed and left within an hour. After the first day we had no ants in our two story house. They have been gone including any other outdoor bugs. We're very satisfied and should have called him sooner. No ants in the summer is a first. Usually they'd be out on anything we'd leave on the counters within minutes and now we don't have to worry about them being everywhere. read more
