We were loyal to this place for over 5 years. They switched companies and stop sending people to service my house. Because of this we had a Major ant infestation. We contacted them explaining we need someone to come early to my location as we have small Children and the ants were truly out of control. They refused and never sent anyone. We tried to speak to supervision but were never responded too. I was Forced to pay a different company to come out. The new company also confirmed our ant infestation was extreme. So we Cancelled Clark services and instead of trying to keep our business they just sent us a bill even though they never sent someone to service our house. We refused to pay for a service they didn't provide and they sent us to collections. We contacted a supervisor at Clark and he said that's just how they do business. Now we have to get a Lawyer. Clark pest control is a terrible service and we can't believe they did this to us. We have paid on time for 5 years with no issues. And when they stopped coming we stopped paying. They are now blaming us instead of Trying to make It better. What a joke. read more

We used Clark for 10 years without too many issues. Over the past few months, we were receiving bill after bill with no explanation of what months it covered. After we complained and waited for a return call for an explanation, our service was canceled. When asked to restart, they quoted an enormous rate hike. I'm glad this happened. Horrible ...... For approximately ten years we used Clark with no problems. Recently they canceled our service without notice. Clark claims that to "re-start service" our price would significantly increase and we would have to sign a contract due to "new rat poison" that was required by the state two months ago. They said an additional phone call would be required. Clark never called. To this day....(30 days+) still no phone call from Clark. Very unprofessional. read more

We always had good experience with Clark Pest Control and their technicians. Lance Jones and his team were no different: Lance came to our house to do a termite inspection. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and honest in his assessment, He did not try to "push" any intervention but suggested a treatment of the house structure with Boracare, after noticing damage to wood adjacent to the house and explaining to us the advantage of such treatment. Absolutely awful. I hired Leo Clark three months ago to get the rats out of my attic. Countless phone calls (with few call back), dozens of appointments to have technicians set/check traps and, two months in, figure out they hadn't sealed off their entrances, and I still have rats. To top it off, last weekend the tech who was sent out found that the rodents has chewed through my Ethernet cables, so who knows about my electrical wiring. I've been with this company over 15 years and two houses. Over the course of that time we've had 6-7 technicians and EVERY single individual has been so nice, respectful and friendly. We've called them occasionally, aside from their quarterly service call, to deal with ants or other issues. They always show up when they schedule. (Saw the negative reviews and noticed customers experienced inconsistencies during COVID and wondered how many other businesses have received 1 stars during that time.) Sprays the perimeter of the house from end to end, always cleans the cobwebs, gel inside the house for ants (if requested). The folks are great! read more

I have been a customer of Clark for about a year, but I just had an experience recently where Clark went above and beyond. I had called Clark to treat for mosquitos. While Vic was here, he discovered a large rattlesnake tucked in a space in our retaining wall near our Patio. While Clark does not remove snakes, Vic was concerned enough to help me find someone who could remove the snake, and it was removed the same day before it could hide somewhere else. Worse company that has ever tried fixing my house problems. Not only did they never show up after their initial visit, but they ripped me off and was overpriced for no reason. They charged an initial fee as well as a monthly fee AND a cancellation fee once I realized how horrible their services were. I really wanted to go with a local business but I'll probably switch away from Clark. You can't get into our side yard, backyard or garage without someone to let you in, so I've requested multiple times that the rep call a day or two before to see when we'll be home. They usually don't, and either just spray in the front yard (not the problem area) or ask my nanny to let them in (which I've asked them not to do-- she's not comfortable with this). We had a contractor out to get a quote on some renovations, and he noted the rodent problem in our garage, and suggested we get a pest control service. In fact, the technician did tell us last cycle that he needed to come back and patch some rodent holes. Great. He said he'd call us the next day. Never called. I just left him a message and if the service doesn't change, we'll cancel next month. read more

let me ask you to review the following that we have found with clark pest control 1)how many stars do you give a company that asks you what needs to be done & then the employee disapeers 2 minutes after you do? *( folks please get yourself indoor & outdoor cameras watch what they uhhh don't do!! i told the guy i was going to go grab lunch, i wasn't gone a couple minutes to come back for my phone, and the clark guy was gone!!! i checked my cameras, double checked my other, even asked my neighbor if his picked up any movement!! nope 2)it's funny, they promise you the moon to get yo1)u to sign contract and then negate to tell you they don't do exactly what they just talked you into that they claim comes w/their uhhh service! 3)lastly, is it common to keep getting statements months after contract cancelled??? well we cancelled in october and somehow their billing personnel cleverly keeps sending statements and now its jan 2019 ***my next stop is better business bureau and then the county attorneys office and will google other outfits that can spread the lack of morals from a company like this. ***folks cancel by phone and in writing, ask them to confirm your cancellation in writing. keep a copy of the email for yourself and please send a copy to this email address so we can continue to follow up on the lack of their service and overcharging, this is a crime. in god we trust, but not clark pest control * please email me your stories about them read more

We developed a rat problem under our BBQ in Pacific Palisades. The wood for the pizza oven is a tempting place for them to live, I guess. Yesterday, I set out to find someone to help me solve the problem and WHAT a nightmare. Everyone is booked for 2-weeks and wanting to do an "inspection" not the work. The problem is I did the inspection and theres 2 pounds of rat-crap down there making my burgers into "plague burgers" and it needs to be cleaned up ASAP. 6 companies before Clark couldn't understand this. Kurt from Clark came out today and wrote me a bid for $350 to fix some things and I bought a bi-monthly plan to trap the rats. No problem. Deal. He gets to work. I go back to working and he leaves a few hours later. Mere minutes after Kurt leaves, I am having a meeting outside with my landscape designer and CLICK - one of the traps goes off. Open the door and there is a HUGE rat in the trap. I called Kurt, who smartly gave me his cell number, and he looped back and dealt with the sucker. I am a happy consumer and glad that I did as much research as I did yesterday to find a company who actually cares to go a good job. 5-stars. read more

Although Teresa (supervisor) and Angel (field representative) were very kind in a delicate situation like mine, Clark Pest Control failed me greatly. Over a nine month period, they sprayed (but failed to identify insects as well as post and disclose chemicals used in sprays) which is against structural pest control board regulations. After they "closed my account" via a district manager by the name of Ray Barber, more than three entomologists confirmed SIX different pests in my home contributing to my two year nightmare. Allowing for nine months of growth from several rapidly producing fabric pests, not to mention the wood destroying powderpost beetle. FOR TWO YEARS I have endured bites 24/7 with intense itching, subsequent scarring all over my body. Three of the identified insects were fabric destroying pests and one a serious wood destroying pest which is five times worse than termites according to pest control experts. I am left with a home structure literally being eaten apart at the seams. My clothing and furniture destroyed. And not enough funds to pay the $10,000 it will cost just to erradicate the pests. Not to mention my life and belongings. I continued to point out the holes in the furniture to Clark, who blew it off as "nothing a pest could create". Clark providing a 9 month window for them to multiply, infest, and literally eat every piece of furniture and clothing I have worked over a decade to provide. My bed actually collapsed while I was in it. The beetles ate the wood beams supporting the boxspring and mattress. I wrote a letter to Clark's home Office, addressed to a Mr. Paulsen who handles claim reserves informing them of the short window of opportunity they had to make it right. I received no response. After calling regarding this, i was told Lodi is no longer their home office that Bakersfield is. I readdressed and resent my letter to one of the founders and owner whom (interestingly enough, has served on the structural pest control board many times) the very authority governing pest control companies. It's NO WONDER complaints do not receive justice from this HUGE conflict of interest. Again I called to make sure they received it. A receptionist confirmed receipt and delivery in both Mr. Clark's and Barber's inbox. To date, I haven't heard a whisper from them. Securing legal representation for this matter was the first time I think I have smiled in two years. They had nine months and plenty fo opportunity to redeem not only their reputation, but to do the right thing. Particularly as I am a disabled single woman whom after 10 operations lost 80% use of my hands. Unfortunately, they left me with no other choice than to close that window of opportunity and pursue litigation. My attorney, a true baracuda, relentless in her pursuit for justice. Cesar came by this morning to zilch the usual suspects, including some black/brown widows that had taken up residency in and under our son's large playset with attached swing. Unaware that the playset was anchored to the ground with two heavy-duty ground screws, Cesar proceed to lift the set, completely bending the two steel screws. Strong man, if you ask me! Anyway, he quickly confessed his sin (hehe), and immediately offered to straighten them out. I told him that it would not be necessary, but he insisted. In short order, without missing a beat in his schedule, he had them looking pretty much brand new! I'm not so sure I would have been able to do the same. Conclusion? I gave them one star which they do not even deserve. We just bought a house and we wanted it sprayed before we moved in because there were cobwebs everywhere. They refused to get rid of the cobwebs and said they could not spray up high inside or outside the house. They must be using water because the bugs and spiders have not gone away. They give s 30 day guarantee and I know why because their stuff is crap. I did not want to have my new house sprayed while I was in there and now I have to call someone else to come out. I am so upset about this. I will sue them in small claims. I know why they demand to be paid by cash now not credit card because they do such a lousy job and with a card you can dispute it. Freakin' Horrible Service!!! When I called it sounded like they were in chaos as if they didn't know what they were doing! They said they would have a tech contact me. The tech got back to me only once several hours later while I was running errands on my motorcycle. I returned the call and I left a very detailed message and never got a return call. It's been three days. I guess they don't need my business!!! If they are too busy to get back to me, they are too busy to work for me. In 2012 we moved out of state after having Clark service for many years. We had a big home. Now we are back here in a smaller home, we have/had a company for rats and mice in the area outside. A salesman came to the door a couple of months ago, and told me how they treat the rodent problem. I signed up, and did an automatic debit. The service man showed up the following day and when I spoke to him about the treatment plan, I got a different story. I finally decided to cancel the service, plus Clark was double the amount I was paying with the other company. A few weeks later after already paying for my one and only visit, they withdrew another payment. It took a call reminding them I had canceled and it took a week before the money was put back in my account. A manager called me and I explained why I canceled, I was misinformed for the start. Now, a month later, they came out and took MY two rodent boxes, that they used, because I didn't need their boxes. I called to tell them to say please return them to me, which took 3 phone calls, and 2 days later, they returned only ONE box of mine...,I give up! Clark Pest control has been servicing my house for years and recently a swarm of bees were getting in the crack of my house and forming a hive in my attic walls. Wife called CPC and Aaron came out to examine my issue. He is well versed with bees and educated me on how bee's behave and what I needed to do. I've been in sales my entire life and I have to tell you, if you have a problem with bee's or pests and want great service, call CPC and ask for Aaron. You not only get an expert, you get a guy representing a company that truly cares about your situation. He's followed up with me many times to check my status and tbh not the norm today. I really appreciated it because I have 2 youngsters they play often in my backyard. I forgot to mention, a different bee posse started to swarm again, they wanted to infiltrate the vacant hive after Aaron sealed up the hole. He informed me that bees sense and smell the dormant hive and said he would be by my house to take care of it the next day. He told me this on his way home from a fishing trip on a Sunday! He took my call on a Sunday and showed up as promised the next day, who does that? Aaron does. read more

I hate bugs, sorry to whatever organizations saves bugs but I do not like them anywhere in my house. I had a huge ant problem when I bought this house and since they serviced my house have never had an ant problem or bug problem. Aaron is simply amazing. We were recommended to Aaron by many friends of ours after we thought we had a tarantula living between the wall of our house and a wood beam. He was in the neighborhood so he stopped by within minutes of our phone call. Turns out we had bats nesting in this space. He quickly took care of the situation and put up a mesh screen to keep them out. Price was lower than compared companies. He will now be our go to guy! read more

Wasps had built a nest on our patio. They looked pretty angry. So that stopped us from even going outside! I called Clark Pest Control because it advertised as local. Amazingly, ten minutes after my call, their man, Aaron Adam showed up promptly, as had been promised! He described the fees upfront before he got started. I thought they were pretty reasonable and there was even an option to convert a single one-shot payment to a regular bi-monthly visit if I so wanted. I decided to go for the one-shot. Pretty quickly he had got rid of their nest and declared the area safe again. He was looking out for anything that might also be a problem for me. He discovered several hundred Brown Widow Spiders on my property which he quickly dispatched, (all being part of the same one-shot service.) He didn't spend very long on my property but rid us of some really nasty spiders, in addition to the wasps nests (he found one somewhere else too!) I was impressed with his speed. He was there within 10 minutes of my initial call! :) read more

Had the service years ago and loved it! My tech was so nice and Pamela in the office was beyond amazing. In a world when we all get recorded lines when we call businesses, she was so great and patient. Fast forward to our new home we are in, and called to get service with them, again. The phone people are a disgrace. Degrading and interrupting and condisending to say it kindly. The after hours answering service was better by far! We have had a service with Clark for a number of years and the service representative VIC had been very helpful, efficient and effective in his service and keeping our home inside and out free of bugs and other seasonal creatures. Once we were assigned to a different representative, we immediately notice the difference in effectiveness -why we do not know-. After calling and requesting a different representative (who was more helpful) the effectiveness of the service was just NOT there; creating an increase of many different seasonal bugs that we have not seen in and/or outside the house for years. After calling one more time and requesting to have a supervisor call us back on 9-19-17, as of today 9-27-17, there has been no call back from anyone at Clark. Therefore, we have terminated our service with them after, as I mentioned, a number of years (probably over 10.) :( read more

I have been using Clark pest control for several years and had always received excellent service. But it wasn't till recently I stared dealing with one of there techs by the name of Avery. Talk about exceeding expectations!!, Avery really goes beyond what you would expect from a pest control tech. He gets the job done and he does it with pride!!! He has gone out of his way more then once for myself and my family, he even gave me his cell number so I can contact him if I need something to be taken care of right of way.I will be a long time customer as long as Avery is there. read more

We have used Clark Pest Control for the last 14 years...when we moved 3 years ago, our new house had sooo many black widows in the front and back yard. They loved the crevasses in our brick. It was obvious the previous owners did not have a regular pest guy. Christopher R came out and sprayed. He was great at following up. I haven't seen one since. Recently, the warm weather caused an influx of ants to come around the outside of the home and inside our kitchen. Christopher was at our home the same day and spent less than a minute to find their entry point into our home...he had a syringe of something and the ants were gone within 24 hours. What I love is that they don't charge extra when you call and ask them to give an extra spray. I have seen what our home would be like without regular spraying. Of course pests are still going to find their way to your home...but there are fewer pests, and you have Christopher and Clark on speed dial in case you have an issue. THANK YOU!!! read more

She was very knowledgable and thorough in her work.
