I've been using Excel Chem Dry for years. Recently one morning our new puppy had tummy trouble and made many messes in our den. I called Excel right away and they cleaned our carpet the same day! Well, the next day our little pup did it again. Thank goodness Excel did another excellent job! Did I mention the berber carpet in our den is 22 yrs old? It still looks nice. I highly recommend Excel. read more

Great service, very professional, and able to squeeze you in on short notice. We have a puppy that isn't getting the potty outside thing. They have come twice to our home and the rugs look brand new and no puppy pee smells. The owner is a really cool guy. He volunteers in his community and helps in soup kitchens. I respect that. I like doing business with people that are socially compassionate. Excellent job, fast, courteous, and reliable. read more

Excel Chem-Dry has been my go to for carpet cleaning for many years. Professional, reliable and trustworthy, I feel comfortable knowing my carpets will be "sparkling" clean. All of the technicians are fabulous, and take the utmost care with my carpets. Yes, highly recommend Excel Chem-Dry! read more

We scheduled a carpet cleaning with Peter for March 2, 2018. On the day of service Andrew showed up to do the work. It was raining very hard and I was worried the hoses etc would mess up the freshly painted walls. Andrew took care of everything, used corner guards and cloths to ensure there wouldn't be a mess. The carpets were EXTREMELY dirty including pet accidents. Andrew was able to completely clean the carpet. When dry there was not a hint of stain and they did not come back. Fast forward to today March 29. One of the dogs had a huge diarrhea problem all over one of the bedroom carpets. I called Peter a bit frantic as a home inspection is scheduled for March 30. Peter put me at ease and was over in a few hours. I thought the carpet was ruined. I have to say Peter cleaned the carpet again and it is completely clean. Not a trace or any aroma from the dog's poop!! To my surprise Peter saved it. Incredible work by Andrew and Peter of Excel ChemDry. Well done! Without any hesitation I highly recommend Excel ChemDry to anyone who needs professional and expert carpet cleaning. DO not call anyone else. Excel ChemDry is the company to use. Peter and his team are the best in the business! read more

Peter Perez and his son with Excel Chem-Dry deep cleaned my carpets and cleaned all my tile floors! Wow what a difference. They were on time, worked hard and are very professional. After having 4 family members and three dogs during covid a great cleaning was just what the floors needed. Couldn't be happier. Thanks again Peter Perez. Polly read more

I cannot say enough about this team. I am a trustee of an estate outside California, my mother in law died and I needed her house cleaned to sell. I needed cleaning ASAP but in a tight window. These guys took the call, responded intelligently and professionally, set us up without fuss, and turned up exactly on time as needed. They then went 1000% above and beyond to communicate, send pictures of the work, recommend fixes to issues they saw. The results are excellent. A+ for being flexible, timely, responsive, hard working, helpful, all with results and great communication. Thank you!! read more

I called Excel Chemdry to get my carpets cleaned. I had them cleaned last year by one of those Coupon zcleaners, that company spent about 30 minutes in my house. This company spent more than an hour cleaning my Living room and hallway. He even worked on a couple of difficult spots, no extra charge. I paid full retail for this cleaning, and felt like I got more than I paid for. I am extremely happy with the service and will use them again read more

Certainly the best carpet cleaning experience that we have ever had. Joe was friendly and professional and did an outstanding job. I was very pleased with the dry time on the carpet as well, under two hours, and everything smelled great when he was done. He used corner guards to protect our walls and cloth pads to protect our hardwood floors, much appreciated. Excel is the best! read more

Just had my bedroom carpet cleaned and two arm chairs. They came out great, the colors on the chairs are vibrant again and the carpet reflex's it's original beauty and is so soft it made my toes smile. Drying time was under 2 hours. The price reasonable. Thanks Peter for a job very well done. read more

When four out of five companies on Yelp politely passed on my vintage settee with water stains, I was already losing hope. After sending pictures, Peter from Excel ChemDry honestly stated he can make the piece better but not completely perfect, so I took the chance, though warily. I dropped the settee off over the weekend, and Peter was kind enough to accommodate my busy schedule. He was able to get the settee ready for pick-up on the date that I requested. I did not expect the settee to be completely rid of the water stains and light marks, but on a good angle, the settee looked so much better than it did. Peter has mad skills! He even educated me on proper care for types of fabric. Such an easy experience, I would definitely return to him for all my fabric cleaning needs! read more

I googled upholstery cleaning in my area and found Excel Chem Dry and decided to give it a try based on their thorough website. I left my contact info through their website and got a call back maybe an hour later! It was the Sunday before Thanksgiving and I just got a couch from a family friend. It is an amazing couch, however it had the remnant smell of their dog. Peter was able to come in on Tuesday and clean the couch! When he arrived he evaluated our couch and let me know exactly how much it would cost. He recommended what he think we needed then got to work. There was no sales pitching or bashing other companies, just honest recommendations and customer service (which is hard to get nowadays!) When he was done the couch looked absolutely amazing and had no dog hair or dog odor! I highly recommend them and their outstanding service! read more

Peter Perez's Chem Dry is the best carpet cleaning service I've ever encountered! I tried one or two others and was always disappointed by comparison. I've had them clean my couch, rugs, and carpets, and am always amazed at how wonderful they look. They are also friendly, are easy to schedule, and show up on time. I've now been a customer for several years and feel very lucky to have come across them by chance. read more

Most of all I was impressed with the two guys that did the work. They were very professional in their work, their attire and their attitude. And by the way, they did a great job on the getting our carpets clean. Previously some of the carpet cleaning people that showed up looked like they were meth-heads or something sketchy. Not sure why we even let them in our house. read more

Sometimes the most useful tools can become the biggest headaches.... What do I mean by this? Well, we have a robotic vacuum (brand is Neato) that's we've been using for the past year. With two dogs and a cat, it's been a very helpful and useful tool around the house. However, just today, it's become our worst nightmare. One of my dogs decided to go "#2" in our master bedroom and not knowing, my wife let "Neato" do it's thing in the bedroom. Well, let's just say "Neato" did a fine job of smearing our dog's gift all over the bedroom. it was such a mess, that there was no way we could clean it up without professional cleaning. Frantic, using Yelp, I called three different carpet cleaning services, but only got their VM. I then called Excel Chem Dry and Sharil picked up the phone. It was already about noon and I explained the situation to her asking if we can get same day cleaning. She was very courteous and understanding on the phone and said she would check to see if she can get a crew to our house that day. She called me back within 5 minutes and informed me that the owner (Peter) would be over at our house within two hours. Even though I know that I would be paying a premium for this service, I was still thankful that the response was so quick. Peter arrived promptly on time and surveyed the mess in our bedroom. In the end, he not only did a very thorough job of cleaning up the mess, but the final estimate was much lower than what I was originally quoted. Not only was he very professional and pleasant to deal with, he provided a high level of service that we did not expect, which just added to the overall excellent experience. I cannot highly recommend Excel Dry Chem enough! Thank you Excel for making a very bad experience a very pleasant one!!! Now, if only I can find that type of cleaning service for my Neato robot. =Ol read more

I've used Excel Chem-Dry two times now and both times they did an excellent job. The technicians both times showed up on time, did a great job and didn't try to up-sell the job. I will continue to use this company for all carpet and couch cleaning! read more

If you need your carpets cleaned for any reason, I'd suggest you check out Excel Chem Dry. We were in the process of moving into our new place and the carpet needed some TLC, especially with a 1 year old still crawling around still learning to walk. I've used other carpet cleaners in the past using those coupons in the mailers and usually its chintzy and sometimes a potential bait and switch. I wasn't really in the mood in dealing with that. But decided to use yelp to find someone who wasn't going to try to F me over carpet and make me feel dirty. =S For some reason I gravitated towards Excel Chem Dry. I called the number on a weekend afterhours and was able to leave a voicemail. 5 minutes later, Peter called me back and basically no pressure, walked me through everything. We talked about square footage and areas that needed to be cleaned and he was able to give me a quote I felt was fair. On the day of the appointment, two of Peter's guys, Mike & Jesse, showed up on time and ready to get the years of high traffic crud out of my carpet. The over the phone quote happen to be a little under estimated so they had to requite me on the job, but I'd say it was understandable and reasonable. Once we got the paper work out of the way, we talked about some problem areas and they got to work. They vacuumed the areas and then brought out the big guns. (I had already asked this the previous night, if I should vacuum ahead of time and Peter informed me they would take care of that. But as my aside advice to you, I'd still go ahead and vacuum on my own ahead of the cleaning if at all possible.) Mike and Jesse worked a job pretty close to a miracle on the carpet. They were thorough and even brought to my attention some areas that were a surprise to me. Which I did appreciate. All in all. Mike and Jesse did a great job and I was a happy customer. Hopefully this review helps you decide and you get to have a similar result with these guys. read more

We never had a deep cleaning on our carpet since we moved in May of 2004 and these guys did a good job removing all the dark spots it had. We also took the chance to have our tiles in our bathrooms and kitchen cleaned and they got like new. I wish I could have this done every month but our pocket don't allow us. read more

When I contacted them online they responded in no time at all (despite the late hour). My phone contact the next morning was answered by a friendly, polite, professional and gave me all the information I needed. The technician (Peter, himself) was prompt and on time, and best of all inspected the problem area (a large stained and discolored area where a grandchild had been sick) determined the type of fabric and did a fantastic job of cleaning the two sofas. Excel Chem Dry did a great job and we have sofas that look new again. read more

I hired these guys to help give my townhome's carpet a good cleaning after 6 years of wear and tear (and baby puke, food stains, etc.). I needed someone fast, since I need to get it ready for my new tenants, and they were able to service my home the next day. Excellent job, very professional, and they were able to get rid of some of the stains that I didn't think was possible to get out! Will definitely use them again. Even helped me lock up by ducking out the garage after they were done with the job since I wasn't able to wait around nor return to the house after they're done. read more

Chem Dry did a GREAT job with our carpets! They look better than they did when they were new! They were even able to completely clean footprints where someone had tracked in hot Asphalt! There wasn't even a trace left. They certainly aren't cheap, but I give them 5 stars anyway. If you need it done right, call these guys. Thanks, Peter. read more

Did an amazing job on my carpet. They even got rid of a color stain that could not be removed by the previous carpet cleaners I have tried before. Will definitely use this service again read more

Excel was hired to take care of Grandma's carpeting, throughout the two story house. They were prompt, very friendly, helped move furniture that we can not move, and offered us reasonable packages. What we also liked about this responsible company is that it is family business. They are simply lovely people. Would highly recommend this company for any flooring need. read more

Chem Dry is the best! The carpets are not too soaked afterwards and they provide plastic booties to put over your shoes or feet to walk on the carpet until it is completely dried. We had quite a few dark spots from spills of a teenage boy and they got it all out. The owner of Excel a great guy - friendly, helpful. We have used them twice and are super happy with the results. read more

Super great experience from beginning to end!!! Loved everyone I spoke to along with the young man who cleaned my carpet!! They even told me I shouldn't get my chair done as it could affect that type of upholstery in a negative way......LOVE honesty!!! It goes a long way with me. Everyone gets a big hug from me and I encourage all who read this review to check them out and see what I mean. I found them on YELP and am so glad I did!! Sally read more

Great service !! The guys were not only right on time but so kind and courteous. They explained the end to end process prior to starting the job. In addition they also mentioned add ins which I always appreciate. The difference being that they did not push them on me nor did they change there attitude once I said " no thank-you". The job was done as timed. Looked great and was just slightly damp. I was able to move everything back in by that evening. The weather was cloudy and cold so it would have been sooner had the weather been on our side. I would highly recommend Peter and his team to anyone looking for carpet, upholstery, area carpet cleaning !! You will not be sorry. read more

Not all Chem-Dry, This Chem-dry. We have had them come every November for the last 5 years in preparation for holiday celebrations. They are always on time, very courteous and friendly, and do not nickel and dime like some others. No coupon needed, just call for an appointment and let them know what you need, you will be treated fairly. They do a great job getting the high traffic dirt and other stains out. No mess left behind. read more

Ok. So I called excel chem dry because I have a huge facility that had major spots...within the next few days, it was spic and span. It dried within 2 hours so it wasn't the type of cleaning where you were out of your house/area for 8-10 hours. The people were friendly and kept in communication with me to make sure everything was ok. They even came in a couple days later to check in on a couple specialty items I needed cleaning. Awesome place! read more

Peter and Andrew were great at communication from the first phone call through the date the job was completed! Very professional and easy to contact. They were on time for the scheduled appointment, which was impressive. We are a real estate brokerage that also manages 40 properties. We had them clean the carpets in one of our rentals and they both kept in contact regarding appointments, arrival times, etc. We learned of them through personal contacts and will use them again for our multiple rental properties. read more

I used Excel Chem-Dry for the first time on 1/31/2017 based on some excellent reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed, they gave me an appointment within the time frame I requested, quoted a fair price and did not try to "up sell", set a 1 hour window for the appt. and showed up on time and did a great job cleaning my carpeting. I will definitely refer them to others and use them again in the future. read more

I was so impressed by this service...from the initial set-up of the appointment by email and follow-up by telephone call (even had to cancel and reschedule twice due to illness, and the grace with which my situation was handled was amazing!), to the on-time arrival and courteous and thorough job from start to finish of your technicians. I have used the ChemDry process on our carpets since we purchased them 10 years ago, but this is the first time we used Excel's "hot carbonated extraction" method as opposed to the "bonnet system", and it has made such a difference as to the final clean look AND the reappearance (or lack thereof) of old spots! Thank you, Peter, for setting us up so well. We'll definitely be back!! read more
