James showed up right on time to the minute on a pretty hot day to fix some broken tiles in our front porch area. He thoroughly removed the ultimate and other broken tiles and replaced it with new ones. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and the finished product was amazing. No cutting corners and he even explained why he thinks the tiles cracked/came loose. We are so grateful to have found him. He told us that he actually specializes in bathrooms and showers, which is going to be our next project so we will definitely be reaching out to him when we are ready to tackle that. He is insured as well and works with a partner who does the tub install so him and his partner can do everything from start to finish when it comes to bathroom remodeling. We recently removed a built-in and remodeled our fireplace, so the tiles around that area needed repairing/replacing. Jamen's quote was super reasonable, and once we confirmed the bid, he found us a start date right away. Jamen confirmed that one of his crew would be coming to do the job. His guy - Paolo - came punctually on the agreed upon time, explained the process, and did an awesome job repairing our tile!! Not only did he work quickly and efficiently, but he worked meticulously and made sure not to damage any existing tile. The first day took from about 9-1:30 pm to demo, cut, and set new tile. The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). Paolo explained that they wanted to make sure the tile was set/dry before grouting so that the grout color didn't blend into wet tileset color (which was white). I appreciate thoughtful, meticulous, detailed work even if it takes a bit longer. Thank you Jamen and Paolo!!! Already started referring them to friends!

We started to lay the new laminate flooring I had gotten from Home Depot and ran into a number of problems. This might look easy but unless you have experience with floor installation, it can be very difficult and challenging. We struggled along for a few days until my brother had to go back home up north. The next day I continued by myself for a few hours before I broke down and decided there was no way I could finish this job without help. That's when I called Affordable Floor Installation. Mor was in charge and he was just great. He assessed my situation and complimented me on my progress so far. He was being kind. He and his workers Mauricio and Bayron assured me they could finish up the job and have it done by the end of the day and that they did. They were professional, safe, courteous and attentive to every nook and cranny of my floors. They even installed new baseboards for me as well. The end result is that my house looks fantastic. I can't thank Mor and his crew enough. The bottom line is Affordable Floor Installation is just that. Affordable, honest, reliable, professionals who care about their work and their customers. I recommend this company highly and will definitely be using them again to do our floors in the master bedroom and baby's room.

They pulled a fast one and when I went to pick up my flooring none of it was in the original boxes, the reason they did this, it seems, is because it was the wrong flooring and their installer installed it and I didn't realize it until it was already in that was the wrong finish. They swore they checked every plank it was the exact same thing but it turned out that was a lot of crap. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere unless you love dealing with giant headaches and being misled. Attached are screenshots of my conversation with one of the inept children there. Unreal. 9/26/18-after four days of silence after proposing a remedy to the situation I texted her again yesterday to follow up and you'll see from the additional 4 screenshots that I'm adding her not so professional way of handling the situation. We found tile that we liked for three bathrooms and started the search for locations to purchase the tile. Well, daunting cannot even begin to describe the task of driving all over town, seeking our desired tile. We visited almost every tile store in town, we live in LA but could not find what we were looking for (man, traffic sure is a b*tch at all hours of the day). So, we decided to visit "tile/stone row" on S. State College Blvd., in Anaheim. Should definitely have done this from the getgo but we didn't want to deal with the traffic on the way over there. Well, we went early on a Saturday morning and voilá, we found our tile in a few tile stores. Prices were different at each store. But the widest selection and definitely the best prices were found at this store. Sam Vasquez was absolutely awesome. He is knowledgeable and gave us the best pricing. We will be returning for kitchen and laundry room tile very soon. Oh, AND, they have a great selection of wood flooring too.
