Eric was always very punctual and responsive from the very beginning. Plus their two big advantages over other vendors is: 1) their quote is all-inclusive - they don't nickle and dime you and what's in your contract is what you get. They even paint and install new baseboards as part of that contract! 2) their one-day turn around time. I couldn't believe that our floors would only take one day to do, but they delivered!! This was a huge benefit for us because we were still living in our home during renos and who wants to be living in an unfinished space for days at a time in dust and yuck. Not me! After we got their quote, we got a few other quotes and Venetian came the most competitively priced and had the best value proposition. They do quality work and they make the process headache free. Really thankful for Eric and his team for their professionalism and craftsmanship. We love our brand new floors!!

We had some leveling done and stairs redone. What I didnt love is that the last day the two guys who started the job didn't finish (a third new guy finished) and although he did a decent job finishing the stairs, a few stairs creak and the walls were left with much larger holes to be repaired. That's another annoyance albeit it may be normal regardless of who you get your floors done with - they left the stair walls with holes and needing repair and painting. So we have yet to complete the job in that regard. They did disclose that would be the case but after you drop thousands of dollars it would be nice to feel like a complete job was performed.

Words cannot express the extreme gratitude we have for this shop. I'm so glad someone recommended…read morethem to me on Facebook. We came across a lovely owner named Mark who came by our house to measure and get quotes on what we wanted. It has been 2 years since our kitchen Reno and I'm so glad we waited for this gorgeous backsplash that reminds me of Wickeds "emerald city". They were shipped from New York so we waited about less than a week for the project to get started. Mark's son, Mark Jr. is who so meticulously created what I say an artistic masterpiece. If you zoom in there were such small, I mean small.. intricate tile pieces that he poured his sweat for days making sure that it was nothing less than perfection. We are so thankful that he treated our home like it was his own. Both Marks were so lovely to work with and we can't wait to work on our bathrooms next in the near future. Thank you just doesn't suffice the beautiful creation they made in our kitchen. They are honest, so communicative and responsible. On the last day Mark brought an electrician to make sure all outlets worked well and that the clean up was left as if nobody was even there. I mean how is that possible?! We've had horrible experiences in the past but look no further as this local shop has completely blown us away. Thank you for all you do!!! What a pleasure working with this shop

They helped us choose the floors (to replace carpet) and they included baseboards and leveling - (they don't know the exact amount for leveling until they get the carpets up, but it was within reason); note this when you are doing the estimate etc. The contractors were great, fast & clean, no damages etc...the floors look great and we are very happy. Our contact, Farid, was always polite and helpful, eager to answer questions and make you feel confident in their ability. We will likely use them for our next project - kitchen and bath!

From day one, Allen was professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. The quality of workmanship is exceptional; everything looks clean, precise, and thoughtfully done. What really sets Main Street Flooring apart is trust and follow-through. The project stayed on schedule, the crew was respectful and clean, and any questions or tweaks were handled immediately. It's rare to find a contractor who treats your home like their own, but that's exactly what Allen did. If you're looking for top-tier craftsmanship, reliability, and a stress-free experience, Main Street Flooring is the real deal. I explained what floors we had, our family and pet situation, and our budget. He showed me some options and gave me a few samples to take home. He even gave me the baseboard samples, as well. He came to our house a few days later to measure and see our space. Within a few days we had a complete quote. To cover all my bases, I did have the big box place send one of their people over to give me a quote. And they sent me 3 separate costs analyses and I had to calculate the total myself (labor, shopping list from the store, and separate quote for baseboards). Not a huge deal, but it made it hard to know exactly how much the project would cost. Once I did calculate it, it was no cheaper than the Tompkins quote. We went with Tompkins and I'm so glad we did! Things were ordered quickly, delivered on time and installed beautifully! We are so happy we went with Tompkins. You can try and shop around but I don't think you'll be the price or service!
