Geshido 2nd Retail: $130. Their overstock sale price : $45
    Shellby M.

I was more than blown away from their service and prices. Jason (the worker who helped me; asian bald guy) told me and my friend about how the shoe should fit, foot volume, how our heels should fit in, and how certain shoes are good for certain people. He felt up around my foot to see any shortcomings from certain shoes and he was genuinely concerned for what my perfect shoe would be. (We went through 4 pairs, all chosen by him to find the perfect one. Prince Charming yo) Pricing: almost unbelievable. The shoe i got was the Geshido 2nd which typically goes for $130. Their overstock sale made the shoe $45!!! INSANITY. Without a doubt, will always come here again. 12/10

Evolv's are nice well made climbing shoes. This is the outlet store. If you are a new rock climber looking for your 1st pair of shoes. Shop here! Don't come just around Christmas though. Everyone else comes in looking for a deal and they might not have a nice selection of shoes/sizes. $45 a pair. Way better than stinky rental shoes, You'll climb better too. If you are a more experienced climber. Your selection might be more limited. For myself I was able to find older model of the Pontas and the Predator both for $60 buckaroos. Larger more popular sizes could be problematic. I'm happy with my purchases and it's cheaper than resoling.

    A climber's dream store.

Quality shoes, affordable prices. Employees are great and helpful and will help you find a great fitting pair of shoes. I came in to buy some approach shoes, and grabbed a pair for only ~$30 (a steal!). For climbing shoes they offer their full line, both brand perfect new and heavily discounted cosmetic seconds. If you're just starting climbing I would heavily recommend grabbing discounted cosmetic second shoes as you'll likely quickly wear them out anyway! If you're a climber definitely pay this place a visit.

couldn't get any shoes off the bins since they were almost all empty but did manage to get a pair or Kira's ! Can't wait to break them in! Super friendly staff willing to help you find the right size & super cute dogs running around !

Great place to go if you're a newbie and want to get your hands on some cheap climbing shoes. You can get some factory ones for $45 and demos for $35. You just have to search in the bins for your size and for pairs because they're all separated and not in any kind of order. They also sell new shoes here too for decent price. I got a pair of Defy VTR for $55 which was pretty nice. Friendly staff (the girl that was working helped me look through the bins!) and they have like a mini wall that you can test the shoes out in if you want too. They also sell some gear as well, chalk bags, climbing equipment and some clothing. Location is pretty easy to find.

Just bought some nice climbing shoes! Super excited. The staff was very helpful and patient. They also re-sole shoes and love dogs!

    New shoes!

I know there is a REI in Arcadia but I rarely visit that area these days. A Friend recommended this location over the Arcadia one, as it is bigger and it was perfect because it happened to be on my route one day. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and was able to return my online order quickly. The cashier was very kind and the return was quick. I never used the product, the sizing was just way off, even though I had followed the product's website video guide. When I visited, it just so happened to be Member Days so I took a look around. This location certainly has "everything." It feels rare to have a fully stocked store these days. Since I did not need anything at the moment, I plan on stopping by again in a few months when I have an idea of what to use my gift cards on. There were employees throughout the store and they often greeted me and asked if I needed help. Great customer service! There was also restrooms for customers to use. There was plenty of parking in shopping center and overall, had a great first experience.

EVA and manager AARON falsely accused me of returning the wrong item, even though the item matched my REI account, app, original tags, barcode, and product details. They made this accusation in front of my family and other customers, which was very embarrassing. I asked them a simple question: "What exactly is different?" They refused to answer. That tells me they had no real answer. They accused me first, then avoided explaining their own accusation. While EVA was still processing the return, AARON told me to leave and threatened security for no valid reason. After all that, they still processed the return. So the item was correct all along. This was a false accusation, poor judgment, zero accountability, and terrible management. REI leadership should review this incident seriously.

Whoever was working the guns with the dark hair and the trimmed dark beard working mainly the left side was a jerk. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there nor cared about anything. I then was trying to inquire about a Ruger mark 4 and he was rude about how they have them but won't sell them but can order them. I still don't understand what he meant other than out of stock maybe? Anyway. Another customer came up behind me and asked this man a question and he scolded the customer and said he was with me, he was not and dragged me into it for some reason. He eventually got rid of the prospect and I proceeded to tell him I didn't want or need his help and to help the man he ignored. Instead he called up the next person in queue. Ironically enough, an employee was going off on a phone or radio about giving the best customer satisfaction possible lol. I almost said something to him but he was so hyped and happy, unlike mr grumps at the gun counter. Aside from that and what drove me away from purchasing a new firearm that day, the guys working Ammo and the fishing department were amazing. They really showed their knowledge and were a pleasure to work with. I will be back because of them, but maybe sticking to rifle supply for gun purchases.

Plenty of parking, conveniently located right off the 405, they price match, and the membership is actually worth asking about. I'm usually not a membership person, but we come here so often that it pays for itself. Jesus is amazing. We brought in my son's Co-op DRT 3.3 for what we thought would be "just brakes." It turned into new brake pads, a chain, spoke alignment, shock adjustment...you know, the full bike spa treatment. (Part of it was his---well...thanks to my son's curiosity and love of "tinkering.) LADIES!!! BUY YOUR GUNS HERE!!!…read more I was looking for a very specific gun that no stores seemed to carry. A female coworker told me about this store, so I thought I'd give them a chance. I am so glad I did. All the other stores I went to were full of male salesmen who were condescending because I was a woman buying my first gun. They kept trying to push tiny "purse" guns, and even pink guns. I wanted a Smith and Wesson revolver because it's a "dummy proof" gun, which is great for a novice. Ian at the Army Navy Store understood why I wanted this particular gun. He was patient, really listened to me, and answered all my questions. He was even willing to teach me about guns. He didn't have the gun in stock, but said that the following month he was going to Smith and Wesson to place his order for the year. He texted me while he was there!!! I was shocked he remembered me, let alone while he was in the middle of placing the order. Then a few weeks later, he texted me and said the gun came in! You can't beat that for customer service. They are definitely known for their discount prices on all winter/snow-related gear, outerwear, and accessories, as well as services like waxing, tuning, and rentals. When you walk in, the store is so neatly arranged and organized, it's super easy to find everything you are looking for. The inside has cool decorations, snowboard brands etc kind of like a little wooden fort. Theres even a laddered second floor where they sell 2nd hand items. The store is divided into sections for board care/rentals, they have curtained fitting space and a toilet. They even have helmets and ski shoes. The prices here for snow jackets/gear (have pants too) are definitely cheaper than other name brand outdoor places and good quality (150-200), even cheaper than some outlets (but im not too well versed in brand comparisons so dont quote me if you are seasoned). I I think accessories might be cheaper at outlets?, but its more convenient to get everything in one place. They have toe warmers and google covers. They even have the board conditions for different mountains written on a white board as if you were up there in a resort. It would be great if they had a diagram for beginners of what clothing items/essentials to get including accessories and thermal layers as the store overall is very approachable to a southern californian newbie. The only thing is that it is a bit hole in the wall, parking is a bit confusing as you do look like you're pulling up to an inn. But there is a parking lot and we seemed okay parking there for our time here. Had a good time here, would recommend it to anyone looking to get into winter sports.
