Upon inspection, evolution informed me that it was not my pipe, but my neighbor's pipe (town houses with a shared roof) that needed the repair work. Mine was fine and capped off. tl;dr - AC failed when it was 90+ degrees and wife was due to give birth the next day. Evolution accommodated our needs and sent a team next day to replace the AC unit so that we wouldn't have to suffer. A couple months prior, I had received Evolution's mail flyer and held on to it because I knew my AC failure was imminent and the advertised prices were very competitive. Fast forward - two weeks ago when the temperatures were in the 90s, my 50 year old AC unit finally gave up and I was in a terrible situation.
