Instead, I got an automated text the next day saying the work with the company has finished. The person who came was really nice and I appreciated him respecting my home (gave an extra star ONLY because of that), but I think it's very unprofessional to not even let me know that they didn't want to take the project. They knew I was on a tight timeline and needed help, but still didn't give me the slightest courtesy to let me know they will not be accepting, etc. Luckily, I had a plan B since I know stuff like this could happen, but was just disappointed in the lack of communication. I contacted Air Flow Bros last week as there was a loud sound coming from my AC condenser fan, the sound was some type of rattle or oscillation which was not normal. Corey was my tech and he ran a diagnosis of my unit, he noted that the capacitor was fine, compressor was working as there is cold air in the house, furnace and condenser pump inside my house was running fine as well. He noted that the condenser fan motor was running slightly above spec but the sound was not replicated during his visit. He also helped change a hidden furnace filter which helped with airflow inside the house. The last 5 days the noise has not returned but if it does I plan on reaching out again for the repair. I did pay a diagnosis fee in the interim as that is only fair considering Corey's labor, however i will ask to subtract this from the repair cost. I would say their pricing is competitive against other quotes that I received. I would recommend this business as they are professional and priced competitively. read more

The "free" diagnostic comes with a disgruntled pessimistic tech to tell you every reason why the job can't be done. I called for compressor not working and the final diagnosis was my compressor is not working. His exact words were "it's fried but not that fried" whatever that means The $100 that I "tipped" did turn his attitude around but still clearly incompetent because my compressor was not fried, nor the wiring was switched around and is activating just fine now. Peter is so honest and kind. He knows his laws and helped us get our slum lord agree to fixing his furnace ac and heater as well as all ducts. The place had broken ducts, carbon monoxide leaking out, rats that ate all the insulation in walls, black mold from leaks left uncared for.
