I normally don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for another service company, but this situation has gone on too long. About two years ago, Fresh Air AC & Heating installed a complete AC system at my home. At the time, I was told there was mold in my existing system, so I went ahead and replaced the entire unit. Now, about two years later, the AC started leaking upstairs in the attic at the fitting where the unit connects to the PVC drain line. It appears to be leaking around the female adapter. I first contacted Jorge on September 13. He came out a few days later around 10 PM, worked on the issue, vacuumed the line, and left. Unfortunately, the very next day, I turned the AC back on and it continued leaking. I contacted Jorge again and was told he was going to find a new drain pan for me. It is now October 4, and the problem still has not been resolved. I completely understand that businesses get busy. so I understand scheduling and emergencies. But when a customer has been without AC and has water leaking from an AC system your company installed, I believe that customer should be prioritized. My family has been at home without AC while I'm at work trying to get this handled. I've also been trying to contact Jorge for the past four days and have not received a response. Another concern is that I was never provided a written invoice or written warranty for the original installation. Thankfully, I do have the text message history showing our communication. Before hiring this company for a full AC installation, I strongly recommend making sure you receive a detailed written invoice and a written warranty explaining exactly what is covered. At this point, I'm simply asking for someone to communicate with me and get this problem resolved ASAP. read more

Apologies on this late review. So our AC stopped blowing cold air during the peak heatwave in August. We had it troubleshooted by another company and determined that the compressor had gone bad. The initial quote provided by the company that routinely maintains our AC was quite steep so we began the journey on getting quotes on repair/replacing the AC system. The whole search felt like shopping for a car. Here is where Jorge comes into the picture. He came out and was beyond patient with us. We didnt feel rushed. This review is for customer service from Fresh Air AC and Heating as I haven't actually had them come out to check out my mini split a/c problem yet. I'm trying to DIY it with the manufacturer's online tutorials and troubleshooting but if that fails, I'll be calling Fresh Air AC and Heating based on their reviews and the customer service I have received already. I provided a description of my issue(s) via the Yelp contact form for the company. Despite not having yet hired them, they have been really responsive and helpful with suggestions/info so far. Other companies have simply responded that they "don't offer that service" despite being listed as a/c repair contractors. I'm being kind of a cheap-o trying to DIY it but a/c repairs are $$$ and I haven't won the Lottery (yet.) I'm handy and a serial DIYer but a/c systems are not my forte so it is probably inevitable that I'll have to call in the experts. If so, Fresh Air AC and Heating is #1 on the list of those I'd call. If you're looking for an a/c repair company and customer service is important to you, I strongly recommend that you give Fresh Air a try. I will update as my situation moves forward. read more

Jorge was amazing! We all know it's been HOT AF and not the ideal time for your AC unit to crap out. So it's Saturday morning and we notice that the exhaust fan is constantly going AND it's a nice 88 degrees in the house. Problem. I ducked out and let the partner deal with this. Give your business to this company !! I requested quotes for HVAC work on Yelp and Jorge was quick to respond even though it was a Sunday. I had scheduled with another company to have a new AC put in and I wasn't feeling comfortable with their quote, and it was due to be installed the next day. ( didn't do my due diligence since I had used them several times before) I was very stressed and Jorge offered to come by within 2 hours to give me a quote. I asked many questions over the phone, stating I didn't know how much I would lose if I cancelled with the other company, and he was so patient and helpful even though he knew I might not be able to have him do the work. Turns out the contract I had with the first company stated of if I cancelled after 3 days of signing the contract (it had been 6 days) I would be charged half the amount of the job!!! Overall, we're really happy having Fresh Air AC and Heating perform our first yearly check-up of our heater. We wanted to go with someone more local to us, and who also had good reviews and wasn't as expensive as maybe another company on Yelp with hundreds of reviews for our yearly maintenance. They might get more popular and raise their prices, but for now, they are very reasonable and we plan to use them again for yearly check-ups to our AC and furnace. Everything checked out fine with our furnace, but we also wanted them to assist with our filter framing since it wasn't fitting properly.
