I have been going here for the last 5 years and overall the experience has been great. My husband bought me a gift certificate for a message for my birthday. Now that I have a window of free time to spare, I thought I would call of an appointment. The gal who answered the phone was completely incompetent. I ask for a 90 min Ritual Message but her only availability was at 3:15--she can do a regular 90 minute message earlier. I asked her why I can't I have the Ritual if it is the same time message earlier? She just had a long pause and said nothing to help out. I just said I will call back later and she was fine with that. If you are in the service industry perhaps the first thing you need to do is help someone out. read more

Nothing short of amazing. Lori Ann is my go to esthetician, the products that are used on me smell and feel amazing. My skin is glowing for weeks after every facial. I went to the spa for the first time a few days ago. I had what is called the Kaiya Kalpa treatment . It was absolutely undeniably one of the best treatments have ever had in my whole life pair! I have been to Canyon Ranch more than once which is fabulous one of the top 10 in the country and Evo spas treatment was easily as good if not better! The lady that gives this treatment is a true undeniable fabulous extremely talented healer who I would recommend to anyone who can afford to do this treatment. I would hope that Everywoman everywhere could do this because it is one the most fabulous relaxing calming soothing D stressing wonderful treatments I've ever had and the woman who does it is just incredible!!! Evo spa is a beautiful quiet wonderful facility. Clean well-maintained with all the accoutrements that one could want in a spa! This spa has reasonable prices, especially compared to some of the other places in the area such as Cavallo Point. The massage is pretty good. I would probably put their therapists in the top 25-percentile. One problem is that they are NEVER on time. I am not sure how that happens but they constantly run late. This starts the whole experience on a negative note. Once i almost left. So i come here when i am too lazy to drive to one of my favorite spas. Evo is just 5 minutes away from my house. read more

I really liked the services I received which included the massage and facial, but I was concerned with the marketing. The lady who did my facial, Sarah, kept pushing products on me and it seemed very tacky for such a nice place. It undermined my relaxing experience. She came off as a know it all and was very pushy, but other than that I had a wonderful experience and recommend it to everyone. read more

I have had many treatments here. The last one was the Crown Jewel - an expensive treat for myself that I did along with a Brazilian. Both were so very mediocre. The salon has definitely gone downhill over the years in terms of the practitioners and even how much they cared about my experience. I was not going to "out" the poor VERY MEDIOCRE practitioner in front of a store full of people. Here is my voice. Used to be AMAZING. Now, I probably will never return. I have no experience with other services at Evo but I did get a spay tan recently from Mandy. She was super friendly and warm. I was not uncomfortable getting naked in front of her even though we'd just met (and I'm very modest). The tan looked great! Was a good medium shade and so far has lasted about 5 days and probably will last a couple more days. The room used for spray tans was well ventilated and pleasant. I'd recommend and would go back for this service. I've been to another local place and the result was not nearly as good or long lasting. I also found the women at the front desk to be friendly and welcoming. read more

I never take the time to write yelp reviews but am compelled to sing the praises of Mariette at Evo Spa for her incredible massages. She is fantastic and gives the absolute best massages after listening to exactly what you want/need. Perfect pressure, good knowledge, talks if you want, doesn't if you don't. 10+ stars and I will continue to go back and ask for her at least once a month after having two sessions in two weeks! If you are a massage novice, start with Mariette. As for the spa, it's very nice, relaxing, clean and friendly personnel. read more

I've been a satisfied brow tint customer for a few years after occasionally trying other salons but always coming back to Evo for best results. Just found out they no longer offer the tinting service! What?! As I'm nearing 60, I now go monthly for the service but skip waxing since my brows are less bushy than they were in younger years. Apparently they will wax but NO tint. I find this an odd service to cut out. I'm sure plenty of people, young and old, need to change their brow color to go along with a hair color change too. Evo Spa is an exceptional spa that i have been frequenting for a while.The minute you walk in the door you are greeted by smiling faces, a beautiful calming atmosphere, and gorgeous spa aroma. I have had wax and massage services at Evo and always leave feeling excellent. The massage service I had was from a male who was very professional and made me feel completely comfortable. His massage was incredible and the room that the service was done in was a round room which was awesome. I felt so peaceful and relaxed. The front greeting area is very impressive and catches the eye. I always find myself leaving with a piece of jewelry or a tank top. Evo has a great selection of clothing, purses, candles and jewelry. The buyer there really has great taste and finds really hip unique items. The skincare at Evo is very advanced and effective. All the lines that they carry are in the New Beauty magazine that I love. The girls there are great with product knowledge and will set you up with a great home care regime. I absolutely love Evo Spa and would recommend it to anyone! read more

This was my third facial with Tracy. She is wonderful. I have had many facials where 10-15 minutes was me sitting in a room alone with a masque on my face. Tracy never leaves the room. During a masque she gave me a wonderful should, arm, back massage. She asked a lot of questions about my skin and tailored my facial to what I said. I didn't feel like I was pushed to buy products. The only reason not five stars is the front desk staff are not the helpful. They did not mention to come early, or tell me there is a changing room with robes etc. read more

this is my favorite spa in the bay area. i love walking through the indian/antique looking doors the soft music playing in the backround i am transported to a far away land where i actually feel relaxed. i leave glowing after the epicurean facial seriously my skin looks 10 years younger after that hot cinnamon mask in the facial..love it! staff is sweet and nuturing i leave feeling pampered. i am thankful to whomever created this slice of heaven. read more

I have been to many spas in the bay area and this spa is by far the best one. The staff, the service and the quality is 5 star. I have been a regular at Evo twice per week for almost 4 years. My favorite service is the sko with Neka but the oxgen facial takes years off your skin. The enzyme facial is also unlike any other facial I have ever had. I have accupuncture twice per week by Neka, the owner, and my entire health overall is different from when I walked in there 4 years ago. I have been to Evo before for eyebrow waxes years ago. But this time, my friend and I went to get brazilians. If you become brave enough to get one, I highly recommend Lily or Ferren. Lily talked with me through everything and made me super relaxed throughout the 45 minutes. She didn't rush anything and took her time which made me more calm. The front desk staff is wonderful; friendly, fun and always glad to see me.....just starts the good feeling that I have once I enter the actual spa, which is so soothing, peaceful, calm. Don't let the location in the Strawberry Village Mall fool you - this is a high class, wonderful environment without an exorbitant cost! It has been over six weeks, and having spent over $600.00 in therapeutic massages as well as visits to my personal physician and a specialist at the spinal center clinic, which have referred me for physical therapy treatment, and after having spoken to the manager one week after the massage and her only response was that this guy is the best masseuse they have, and acted very defensive and never showed any consideration at the time of our conversation, I have to rate this spa with the worse ever review. It has been a nightmare ever since he gave me not a massage but a kneading in my muscles and nerves of my back, shoulder and neck which has left me incapacitated up to now. When i talked to the manager I reassured her that I was not bringing a lawsuit or anything but was just calling to let her know that the male masseuse that did all these damage needed to know what happened so that he would be more considerate and more Knowledgeable towards other customers, mainly females. I have been accustomed to getting massages at least once per month at the bay club, at resorts during trips, or with private masseuses for many years and nothing like this ever happened to me before. The reason I came for this so called "stress reduction massage", is because my son gave me a gift certificate from this place. Oh, this was NICE, the manager reassured me she was going to write that "for next time", I should have only female masseuses, Thanks but no thanks, I will never, ever go back to this place. read more

I have been coming to Evo Spa for many years, mostly for massage, but have never quite found any one therapist to work with. A couple of months ago, I was blessed to work with Paula, a massage therapist at the Spa. She was amazing!!! I am now completely hooked and have an appointment with her every 2 weeks! If I could afford to, it would be weekly. Her massages are very untraditional, using many different Eastern influenced techniques. She has a very magical way of working with you and you never know what you are going to get! Her work is very spiritual, intuitive, nurturing and healing for sure! I have never had the same massage twice. She always listens to how I am feeling and what is going on with me emotionally as well as how my body is feeling and gives me lots of healing tools to take home with me and incorporate into my daily life. My time with her is very sacred to me and I hope that after reading this others will have a chance to work with her as well!! read more
