WOW!!! Caroline is a miracle worker. She has a beautiful presence and a feel good holistic practice. Using her very own, all natural products...my skin was renewed after a relaxing massage and facial. Well I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 just because Caroline is such a nice person and takes pride in her business, and because she allowed us to use our deal after it had expired on December 31st, 2011. I got the $45 deal for a 1 hour facial and foot scrub for my GF to use around her Birthday but she was booked through the Holidays so I had to take her on the 21st of January. I also got one of the deals for myself as I figured I'd give the facial a try and Caroline was saying that more men are getting them these days to look healthier. Unfortunately the facial was not as good as I would have expected and my faced ended up breaking out for a couple of weeks, which was not normal. The foot scrub was great and Caroline has strong hands, so I would consider going back to her for a massage or reiki but not a facial. I just think that different people react differently to different products and although her products may work well for others it didn't work that well for either my GF or myself, she also broke out with acne afterwards. Myself I tend to have sensitive and oily skin which I try not to wash too much as it just makes my skin worse, I may try to use the product I purchased not that long ago which is meant to exfoliate your skin to see how well those results are. The problem is that once I wash my face and strip it from the oils it because extremly dry and I try not to put too oily of a moisterizer on as I don't want to clog my pores or irritate my skin. I liked that Caroline's products were said to be all natural without chemicals unlike other products though. read more

Oh my. Oh my. I had the Belavi Face-Lift and now I think I am hooked. I am a huge believer that you have to get the blood pumping and your muscles moving.. so, the technique to this face-lift is just that. I can't tell you how big a believer I am in this and so I was over the moon with this service. It is totally cool. To top it off, Caroline is cool. She is an experienced business woman, easy to deal with and I like that. I also had this hand enzyme treatment and didn't think much of it... but I noticed a huge difference in my hands! Caroline provides one of the best massages available. I'm used to deep tissue work and having that being the only thing to relieve and release the tension in my back and shoulders. Due to post-surgery complications I've developed extreme leg cramping. Although this may not be the specific intention of this product ( the Active Body Spray) I've found it to be therapeutic and bring my pain level down from an "8" to a "2" immediately. Caroline richly deserves her 5-star reviews. I have been going to massage therapists for 40 years, and Caroline is the best. She is able to get muscles to relax--and they stay relaxed. And even if you have a complaint in just one area (for me the shoulders), she wisely checks your whole body to see if any unfelt tension in other areas is contributing to the tension you are aware of (it was). I was introduced to Caroline at Kinetic Waves when I purchased a Groupon for a massage and facial. I am thrilled that I met her because she ended up healing an injured shoulder that I had given up on. About 15 years ago I dislocated my right shoulder and it has continued to dislocate periodically. As a result, I guarded the shoulder and it became stiff and partially immobile. The reduced mobility led to tight muscles in my chest and back which caused painful back spasms. An orthopedist recommended surgery but I didn't want to go through it. I've had many other massages but most massage therapists avoided my shoulder when I described the injury. Not Caroline. At my first appointment, I described the injury and instead of avoiding my shoulder, she immediately started working on it and its connecting muscles. After that first appointment, I had increased range of motion in my shoulder. A true healer, Caroline is able to pinpoint sources pain and eliminate them. Coupled with strengthening exercises at the gym and several more appointments, my shoulder now has full range of motion and no stiffness. She worked out areas I didn't know were sore and could tell right away how carrying my heavy purse was affecting my shoulder and my posture while I sat at work. She might give the best facial ever; however, I was never given the chance to get one. After I bought a Groupon, I called to schedule an appointment. I told her I needed a Saturday appointment as I worked during the week. She told me that not only was she completely booked for the next couple months on Saturdays, but that she doesn't accept new clients on Saturdays. That pretty much renders my Groupon useless. Amazed by caroline! She is very professional and intuitive, but mostly her bodywork is the most EFFECTIVE! After a serious injury, I had gone to many specialists at Ucsf, who all Recommended some Muscle relaxants, PT, and massage therapy. I had tried several massage therapists over the past few years, but none left me with the sense of improvement for very long after the massage was over, so it didn't seem worthwhile. Then I tried caroline. What a difference! I feel so much better after a brief time with her. Not only do I feel much less pain and tension, I have been able to greatly reduce the muscle relaxants, which were making me tired and less productive.
