I have so many great things to say about Evntwrks! Shout out to Lauren, she is the real MVP! We hosted our 10th Wedding Anniversary at Hotel Via's Rooftop in SF and this girl has vision! From the moment we met her, she was amazing. The décor was absolutely beautiful and the food, don't get started on the food, it was amazing! Her team is awesome, I couldn't believe the transformation of the venue. All the little details in the décor was my favorite part. Keep in mind Lauren and her team set up two areas, one for our vow renewal and the Rooftop for the reception. You get an advisor, decorator, and event planner, they are truly amazing. If we could give Evntwrks 10 stars for the amazing job they did on our recent wedding in Berkeley, we would. They organized/catered/basically did everything to make our wedding at the Lawrence Hall of Science run smoothly and look beautiful. It was an incredible amount of work and planning, but they made it all look super easy. From our first phone call with Danny Buell, the process was crystal clear and at times, actually pretty fun. We met several times in person, and Danny was always quick to answer any questions that came up by phone or email. Everything was super organized: they created a floor plan, timeline, and detailed document of all the specifics for the event, and transparent: we knew exactly how much everything would cost and if we made any changes, we got a revised proposal. We hired Evntwrks initially to do catering and table/chair rentals, but they ended up doing SO much more. In addition to providing really delicious food, they took care of sound & AV (moving the mic & speakers multiple times throughout the night), lighting (market lights over the dinner tables and uplights for the dance floor), florals (including the bouquet & boutineer), decorations, signs, odds and ends like baskets, easels, outdoor heaters, bar service & servers for appetizers and dinner, and all the associated service, set up, break-down and cleanup. Danny himself was there the whole night, acting as a day-of coordinator for the event. As an added bonus, Evntwrks cost about half as much as we would have spent on food alone at other caterers in the Bay Area. They went far beyond what we could have possibly imagined, and we can't recommend them highly enough. read more

A friend recently asked me if I would recommend the event company that was hired for my daughter's wedding a year and a half ago and as I explained why I couldn't recommend Evntwrks, she questioned why I hadn't written a review as helpful information for other people. I am not someone who would usually give a less than stellar review for a company of "really nice" people. Lauren saved my mental health as the only one at the time that was responsive and I wish she had been available on the date of my daughter's wedding. I suspect that something challenging was going on for the company behind the scenes at the time. I also acknowledge that significant time has passed since the event and this review may not be relevant as hopefully issues have been resolved and improvements have been made. In the end there were errors made that day which are still being talked about. All of which could have been let go of in the spirit of the event had the follow up been fair and respectful and good business practice. So the advice I would offer based on my experience (at the time )would be to consider that maybe one company cannot actually do it all as promised, and that if at any point you are not getting the response or attention you need, reconsider your choice. Danny, I'm still waiting for you to call me back. LOL! You told me you hate when people complain about "little" details which I don't consider food and decor to be insignificant at a wedding especially considering the cost. Aren't weddings all about the details? All in all I do not wish ill will on anyone and congratulations making it through the pandemic. read more

Lauren and her team were absolutely amazing! And a life saver! Out of 3 calls, Lauren was the only one to call back and THEN be SO EXCITED to help plan out our re-grand opening. I hired Evntwrks for my husband's 60th birthday party. They created a dream. Strung lights twinkled throughout the yard. Fully dressed tables with floral centerpieces scattered everywhere. A five piece swing band in the gazebo. Special drinks designed uniquely for him made by a terrific bartender. Abundant novel appetizers and rolled and grilled Italian Pork Roast for the main course. And for dessert, a five tiered cake full of sinful chocolate that was loved by everyone. We attended a gala event recently hosted by Evntwrks. We were absolutely stunned by the quality and high class operation of this event. These people know how to host an event! Before we entered the venue, we were greeted by a beautiful wall of flowers outside (and a red carpet) that seemed to invite you and make you feel special. Inside were multiple displays with amazing floral arrangements and different party themes, including a display for a beautiful and unforgettable wedding ceremony. The displays were elaborate, elegant and just jaw dropping. This company thinks outside the box and have thought of every possible detail. It exceeded our expectations.
