We hired Elegance Party Rentals to bring in lighting for our Halloween festival at our local elementary school. They were so great to work with. From permits, helping with which lights to go with for the different areas (string lights, orb lights and even light towers!) and helping us stay under budget which was important as we are a local PTA. Would definitely work with them again in the future. They installed everything on time and took everything down the following business day, even came earlier than agreed upon to help with front office staff schedule. I reserved everything a week in advance and had it delivered. Teresa contacted me mid-week as there was a small issue with the chairs I reserved and upgraded me to a nicer chair for no charge. The delivery driver called and gave me plenty of time to have a space ready for drop off. The only issue was some confusion about the chafers/set up I'd reserved as the warehouse didn't include them in the delivery. However, Teresa and Karen made arrangements for immediate delivery. I have rented tables and chairs at Wally's Rentals a few times. This year I left a message and got a call back the next day. I paid for my bill on that first phone call. I never received an email with confirmation of my purchase, or contact OR "THE FACT THAT IT WAS TO BE PICKED UP AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION." NO INFORMATION AT ALL. My husband after having driven that day back from Yosemite that day went to Wally's Rental. However, since I got no information at all he was driving all over Concord on a Friday afternoon .I did receive a phone call at 2:40 that afternoon to make sure we were picking up our items and to inform me they close at 4:00. Would have been nice to get that information in an email or perhaps on the phone the 3 times I spoke with her on the phone (She who shall not be named.) I was very nice to her until I got a call from my husband pissed off at me. The 72" round table had screws falling out and and was wobbly. Not Cool. NEVER WILL I RENT FROM THEM AGAIN. read more

When my original party rental place flakes on me last minute, I was super stressed out. Fortunately, Elegance Party Rentals came to the rescue. Not only were they available on the day of my friends baby shower, but their quote was cheaper! Gary helped me with providing a few quotes and was super patient. I went with 3 tables, chairs and linens. Everything turned out awesome. Delivery was on time and everything was picked up on time, as well. This company was by far the best choice for my wedding rentals. They had the best prices and the best wedding deal. I had a backyard wedding with no planner and it was so hard; but I can at least say that Diane made my life much easier in the rental department. She was very sweet about every little change I had to make before the wedding (because that's going to happen). She also was very personal and responded quickly to my emails. Their equipment seems newer than other companies that we looked into, too. After the wedding, some napkins were misplaced by our serving staff and Diane was very helpful in getting to the bottom of the situation. All in all, I would definitely recommend this company to everyone, as I will definitely be using them again if I ever have another big event! Also, this company will drop everything off on Friday, then pick it all up again on Monday. I rented four tables and 35 chairs from Diane and her team for my mothers 70th birthday party. Her prices were reasonable, and more affordable than the other companies in my area. Delivery was scheduled between 11:30-2:30 the day before the event. They showed up at 12pm, which was perfect. It allowed me to buy back a couple of hours not having to wait until the end of the window. The tables and chairs were easy to set up, and break down. They were clean and in great condition. The pick up was well within the timeframe set up as well. Everyone was very nice, and accommodating, and I would rent from Elegance again in a heartbeat. read more

To celebrate a very special upcoming 55th birthday, I thought flocking my father-in-law's front yard was a cute idea (a surprise planting of a family of 55 pink flamingos!) I found a herd of 50 online for $114 but was hoping I could perhaps rent the lil' guys since I don't have much use for them after the big day (except maybe around camp at Burning Man?) I called Diane and she was super nice on the phone. Very friendly, and my inquiry about whether she rents bulk flamingos definitely got a laugh. You could hear her smile as she told me she does not rent this item. She told me a little bit about her business which she's run since 2007. (I'm her first flamingo request). She even suggested a nearby party supply store that I should check. I called several other party rental companies and had one curt "NO" reply, received one voicemail, and connected to one automated message. I would definitely call her back first in the future. And it's probably a good sign that she doesn't have a flock of flamingos hanging around. Guess I'll have to come up with something else as a fun surprise for dad. read more

I know this is such an overdue review but I still wanted to do it. I used Elegance Party Rentals in October, 2012 for my wedding. I had an outdoor reception for about 170-180 guests. So I had to rent everything: tables, chairs, tablecloths, silverware, plates, wine glasses, heaters, etc. From the first meeting to the end, everything was perfectly smooth. The pricing was the lowest, too, when I compared more than 10 vendors in the Bay Area. They brought everything on time. We didn't need to wash anything(maybe that's normal but I loved how I didn't need to do anything after renting). We didn't need to go back to return, but they came out to the wedding venue in Oakland and picked up everything from us. I had absolutely no issue with them. If I ever need to rent anything for a big party, I will definitely go back to them. And after reading reviews that are more recent, I can still trust them with their service. Diane was very friendly and accommodating to our rental needs for our back yard wedding reception on June 6, 2014. I was undecided about the color of our linens and number of items to rent until one week before our event, bun Diane was very patient and helped me figure out all the logistics. She offered to meet me in the late evening to show me fabric swatches, emailed me multiple times to clarify my questions and was overall a pleasure to work with and I know it's not that easy to work with anxious brides! The only thing I would suggest is that invoices are double checked for accuracy before billing to avoid adjustments, which in my case had to be done. This was probably due to the multiple changes I made to the table and linen count and it was not a huge worry to me since I caught the error and Diane made the proper adjustments to the invoice. read more

We rented linens and glassware from Elegance for our Carmel Valley wedding, and they were FANTASTIC!! Initially I wasted a lot time attempting to deal with a different rental company, but I should have gone straight to Elegance to begin with! Diane was a breath of fresh air. She was professional and prompt; while the other company took 7 days to respond to me, Diane picked up the phone on the first ring and immediately set to work on making things happen. The new order was sent to me within the hour. Diane's communication and follow-through were excellent, and she was accommodating with our short timeline and last minute changes. She was flexible about pickup/drop off schedule (the other company was closed Sundays, yet wanted to charge us for an additional day since we couldn't pick up when they were closed). The prices and selection were just what we were looking for. Best of all, when we "dropped by" to double check on our color choice, she generously gave us extra time and attention, providing helpful suggestions and even recommended Khaki linens, which we hadn't considered. We had a rustic theme with accents of purple, and the purple linens (while brilliant), seemed overpowering for our vision. Diane's suggestion was a perfect fit! All started our well for our daughter's wedding. Diane was helpful in April. Then came the FATEFULL day in August! Diane's delivery of chairs and champagne glasses showed up 30 minutes late in a venue that we had for only two hours. Time was ticking by and our guest were wondering what was going on? We called Diane to ask where the delivery guys were and she said they were almost there ( She failed to say that she had scheduled them for two other events and they were running late). Upon arriving the two guys first had to unload other items before the could get to the chairs and glasses. Fortunately, I was standing there (a little frantic) because one of the guys did not know the difference between champagne glasses and water glasses. He was unloading the beverage glasses! Elegance seems like a young business that suffers from mismanagement of time/scheduling. Also since Diane requires full payment upfront, so there is no recourse when she misses a cue. We did have tips ready for the delivery guys but since they missed both the drop-off time and evening pick-up time...Sorry guys NO TIP! Renter beware. read more

Elegance Party Rentals is a family-owned business. I worked with them to supply linens and dining ware for a fundraiser gala. Diane, the owner, is excellent. She's friendly, and she worked with me even as I called her repeatedly to make last minute changes to my order. Our event would have been a mess if she didn't happily accommodate those requests. The rentals are very reasonably priced, too. One of the reasons I chose to work with this company is because they list all of the prices on their website--this made it easy to work up an approximate rental estimate on my own, rather than call in or request a quote, as I had to do with many other companies I looked at. The rentals were dropped off and picked up right at our venue, and within the time frame stated, too. To top it all off, Diane worked with me to get the linens and dining ware dropped off early and picked up late, making the timing for our event setup and tear down easy.
