We had booked a monster waterslide for my daughters party. They arrived 1.5 hours early and were rude and rushed us back to our home while I was out picking up my daughters cake. Once we arrived home they were giving us a bunch of excuses not to set up. Once all was said and done we had him cancel. WHEN we booked they were well informed the area was dead grass. They passed on our business because they were lazy and did not want to clean up the slide from the area we had wanted it to go on. Very unprofessional don't use this awful company. The booking process was easy, we booked about 2 months prior the event. The day before they called to confirm the hours of the party, everything was good to go. They arrived 30 minutes late, which really wasn't the issue, but the 1st things the guy said to me was.. " do you have the $220?" No hello, hi, nothing. As if I was not going to pay... they set up in about 10 minutes and left. When they came to pick up the jumper, the same guy was rude, directing me to the get the kids off the jumper as if I should have already had them out even though they did not give me an exact time of when they would pick up. There was one small child putting his shoe on, sitting on the entrance slide of the jumper and the guy snarked at me to move him to the grass. Other party guests also commented on his attitude. We were looking for a Water slide for a Bday party. We called them and they got back to us swiftly. Originally the one we wanted was out of stock, but it became available. The people were Friendly over the phone, and in person. They dropped the Slide 2 hours early, and picked it up on time. I wanted to say that they delivered the Slide as promised and no hiccups. My neighbor wrote a check when she rented from the company, but I was told I had to give cash. My husband with his bad back had to help the friendly staff member because his partner quit for the day. I felt sorry for my husband so we both had to help the staff member and hurt our backs. When asked if we could get a discount for the inconvenience "the boss" didn't answer the staff members call, that dropped off the slide. We rented a small jumpy house for my sons 3rd birthday party at the park. They asked for an hour window to deliver. I got there at 8:50am, they were supposed to be there between 9am and 10am, the guy was already there sitting in his truck. So the jumpy was blown up an hour before the party but at least it was on time and prompt. The staff has been so friendly and informative. They guy was supposed to come at 1pm to tear it down. He even came 15 minutes early and waited (while the adults had a turn to jump!) he was so kind and patient. I would totally recommend Astro jump and use them again in the future. read more

Have been renting from Ross at Astro Jump Contra Costa for about 7 years. Not one complaint. We do an annual back to school fair. So have about three jumpers they always deliver on time and pick up on time. I have had bad experience with another company not picking up until next day but not Astro jump they are on time. Even if I call last minute they always have something good available for us. We appreciate being able to rent from a reliable company who goes out their way to make your event successful. Astro Events of Contra Costa was really great for us. They were extremely helpful when it came to determining what size jumpy house would fit in our space. We were able to fit exactly what we wanted, a 20' x 20' 4-in-1 jumpy house with slide in our driveway. Astro jump is a company which our non-profit organization has used for years but no more. Even though they have us doumented as having used them numerous times throughout the years, they gave us so many problems this time that we found another company which after phoning them for the first time, treated me with respect and didn't expect an arm and a leg in return. Astro jump first said that because it was at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds rather than at our home that we would need to a: inform the park that we are taking a jumper, b: be responsible for a slew of "in the occurrance of" events, c: must not only prepay but that payment must be received no later than 3 days in advance or it will be cancelled and that personal checks are only accecpted one week in advance. 'NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!', yes with 5 exclamation points, d: must send a copy of your drivers license, PGE bill or photo ID with address, e: must sign and return a copy of this contract. I stated that we have used them for years and we have always paid when it was dropped off, never having any issues but was told that they dont do it this was any longer. Fine. So they email me the forms, which prints out on two pages, the first with the Party Park Requirements and the second page where you are to sign and date. So I sign it, copy my husbands drivers licence and even send them the flyer for our event which has complete info on it from date, to location, time, name of the organization and more and take it to the post office because she insisted that it would take a week to get it, (not true, even though I told her it wouldn't take any more than two days, which it did) After doing all this, he then gets a call telling him that not all the forms were submitted! What?! So I call to find out what was missing to which I'm told that the first page wasn't included! This was the page that gave me the rules and the second page was to be signed, which I sent. She said we don't know what you are signing since it wasn't included in the envelope. Seriously, what would be the point of sending the printed sheet of rules as it is not attached. It would have been the same if they printed it themselves since its just a printed sheet of rules.He assured her that we will resign it in front of them when it is delivered but they refused that option. This company has not only lost it's personal touch with it's customers but isn't willing to work with them in any way. So I whip out the yellow pages and contact another company which I have never dealt with and know nothing of and got the most gracious lady assisting me and asking me for NOTHING! No signed forms, no prepay, no drivers licence, nothing. Just my name and number and location of event and that all need be is to be paid when the jumper is dropped off. Come to find that they have the highest rating from jumper rentals in our area and I am not in the least bit surprised. This company is called Best Bounce and they are! read more

I am the owner of studio 12, a dance and martial arts space in Berkeley, a strictly shoes of space. it was rented for a children's birthday. Astro jump arrived way before time to set up and refused to set the rented equipment up because they had to take there shoes of... they where well informed by there customer that our space is a shoe off space.... it seams very unfair and dishonest to agree to a request of the costumer to real them in, but refuse to comply on arrival. .. also the gentlemen setting up was extremely unfriendly when i informed him on arrival. even though i was willing to open the space ahead of time ... do not use them they are dishonest. - i would recommend to my costumer who rented from them to ask there money back because the equipment will not be able to be used as planed since it ended up in the hallway .... they completely abandoned the costumers and left the equipment un-inflated, and not set up outside. - an expeptional example of bad costumer service, and unfriendliness read more
