Cute place but did not meet the expectations for the private birthday I hosted for my daughter there. We paid for a Studio Project Party where a custom theme, decorations, and craft are to be provided. While the decorations and theme were cute and as expected that craft and "party planner" left much to be desired. The "craft" provided was only a coloring sheet and watercolors which is not much of a craft and definitely not worth the price point. All the kids had more fun playing with the small selection of toys. I had high hopes and wish I could've liked this place as again it is very cute but the lack of creativity and effort put into our party has left such a bad taste in my mouth probably best to stick to the free play! read more

This place is such a gem! We just moved to the area and with school being completely online, I wanted to find an in-person activity where my kids could interact with others & I could get a break. Enter Lemon Blossom Creations. We signed up for the extended art class and it has been so wonderful! Ms. Dora is great with my kids (who are 4 and 6) and they look forward to class every week. The Covid protocols in place are excellent: temps are taken, masks worn, sanitizer applied and distancing respected. Class sizes are small - in fact my kids are the only ones in their time slot. I worry that with Covid, small businesses like this one will suffer - please give them your support! I know they are also selling kits you can do at home, if going in person is not an option. Palos Verdes Mall is lucky to have this establishment & if you have kids, they will love this place. They deserve your business! read more

We had our 3 year old birthday party in January 2024. The planning started positive with a survey but when I had several questions it felt like I was annoying the owners and it wasn't as friendly as I hoped. The party itself was not meant for 3 year olds. The party hosts had no sense of control over the guests (we had around 17 kids) and it just seemed extremely chaotic. One of the hosts didn't say a word (we paid an extra $75 for the additional host). It just didn't seem like they had any sort of control over the party. After the party the owners didn't check in or follow up or ask how it went. For the money we paid I'd hope for a better experience. read more

This is such a great space for kids! It's relatively new to the Palos Verdes shopping area, and is such a welcome addition! My 5 year old daughter has attended several events there and without fail, asks me to sign her up for another one as soon as the current event is over. I really like how there are so many types of activities to choose from - we attended an ornament making event just before Christmas, and made so many cool ornaments for the tree (and also got to enjoy yummy hot chocolate while we crafted). There are also activities where you drop off your kiddo for either a half or full day. I wasn't sure how my daughter would like it since she can be a little shy at first, but I just got back from picking her up from the Frozen themed day camp and she said she had a great time and wants me to sign her up for the dinosaur and unicorn day camps ASAP! I like how they tend to have drop-off events during days when school is closed - it's a great way to get the kids out of the house for a bit and engage them in something creative! We found this place on Yelp and decided to have our daughter's 7th birthday here. They did an art project with the kids that matched the theme we had picked for the party (board game theme). The staff was friendly, attentive, and had wonderful energy. There were 12 children including the birthday girl and they also played games like freeze dance, Simon says, and four corners. There are a lot of toys for the kids to sit and play with was perfect for some of the shy kids that needed time to warm up to the group games. I highly recommend this place, we still need to try about some of their other events, but now that I've seen how well they organize and run birthday parties, we will definitely be going back! read more

They hosted my daughters 4th birthday party and did everything from decorating the party, hosting, organizing the crafts, to getting cake plates even! I didn't have to worry about a thing. Just had my baby shower at this location and it was perfect! A great, private location with lots of parking available for all my guests. Also added the decorations to the rental and they were amazing! I had a sports themed party and everything was just adorable! The owners made everything easy from setting up to cleaning up everything was smooth. The guests had a great time and I had everything I needed to have a great baby shower! I cannot recommend this place more especially for the little summer camps they have been running during Covid times. They are extremely well planned, super clean- my four year old has gotten so comfortable wearing a mask I have to remind her to take it off once we are in the car. They keep the kids well spaced and my four year old who was regressing and having insane tantrums is now back to her sunny self. She always has stories to tell about the camp, art projects and friends again! I seriously could not strongly recommend this place especially now! The owners are very sweet and genuinely love kids. They are a must hire for your kid party planning needs! I know the gals at lemon blossoms from their amazing art, music and playtime classes that they run during the school year and the summer camps. They do amazing arts and crafts with the kids and they are the sweetest girls. They also have their own party planning company. I hired them for my daughters 4th bday. They came 1.5hrs before the start time, completely set-up a canopy filled with a princess theme decor, table and chairs for the kids. It was simply amazing. They also set up a cake table, again completely decorated it to the nines! I was impressed, to say the least. Once the kids arrived, they began entertaining them with fun crafts. When lunch time came around they helped the kids at the table so that the parents can enjoy themselves at the party too! They completely took car of the children. The kids all Had a blast and the parents of the kids had a chance to actual mingle, way and enjoy a glass a wine! Score! When cake time arrived, they helped me get the cake set up and dessert, than cut it and pass it around. They stayed until I said we can wrap it up and the kids were entertained the entire time. Party went from 12-4. Without hesitation hire this company. They will make your life easier, keep the kids happy and blow your mind with their set up, professionalism and fun crafts! Right when you walk in they already have so many activities set up along with play area. We took our granddaughter to Lemon Blossom, and she loved dressing up in the quality costumes and pretending to be a princess. Then she went on to making snowflakes for the Christmas tree. She liked playing there so much, she asked to go back the next day. Miss Melissa knows just how to communicate with the little ones, and keep them interested. It gave me enough time to go out and do some Thanksgiving grocery shopping without dragging a reluctant 4 year old around. I noticed they had a sign about a 'Date Night' special which I thought was a great idea for young couples! We will definitely go again! read more

I just had a successful 4th birthday party for my daughter! Lemon Blossom Creations did an amazing job! Everybody was blown away by the set up and decorations. The set up and breakdown happened without the interruptions to my getting ready for the party (cooking, etc). They did a great job communicating, and were incredibly flexible with the party theme (created a custom theme for us!), hours, and format (I wanted the setup and decorations, but no activities, since the 4 yo just wanted to jump and play) So happy that they are in Orinda! Lemon Blossom Creations literally saved the day for us last week. We were looking forward to having a beautiful fairy party in the park for our daughter's 6th birthday. About 16 hours before the party was to start, I realized that air quality issues were going to force us to move the location of the party. Dora and Melissa were so responsive Friday night - taking all my calls and emails. I changed the party location twice on Friday night before finally settling on a new location. I was assured by the new venue that we would get access to the new location 2 hours before the event on Saturday morning, but due to a scheduling error, we never got access until 20 MINUTES before the party. Dora and Melissa juggled their other commitments and worked so hard to transform the room with just minutes to spare before the party. They turned the parking lot into a staging area and then moved the pre-set tables in at the last minute. I don't know what we would have done without them!! We had an amazing party and no one would have guessed that there was ever a problem. Clean up and breakdown was such a breeze too!! They saved me so much work and worry!! read more
