We had them at our son's birthday. For the third time! It was what he really wanted. Kids were glued to the arena for the entire time :) Zach and Diana are both fun entertainers. And they have a lot of stories to tell from their BattleBots fights! All bots custom built by Zach, from scratch. Definitely a unique experience. read more

This was one of those parties where everything just worked. The kids loved it, Zachary (the moderator) kept the excitement going, and the overall energy was fantastic. Bot Bash Party exceeded all of our expectations. Planning birthday parties can be tough, especially when you want to give your child and their friends a unique and engaging experience. Bot Bash Party was an absolute hit from start to finish! The kids were hooked the entire time, from a group battle free for all, followed by a structured tournament and then a second free for all. You could tell a lot of thought went into the flow so that all of the kids could get a feel for the different bots before trying their hand at actual battling and then ending the experience with an opportunity for everyone to participate once more. Zachary, the moderator, was outstanding. He used humor to keep the kids engaged and maintained a high energy tone that kept things moving at a great pace. Even when the kids got rowdy (as expected of 9 year old boys), he kept everything under control while still making it fun. Since this is a competitive and destructive activity, I especially appreciated that he set a positive tone early on by emphasizing good sportsmanship. We're fortunate to have a professional bot battler of his caliber sharing his passion for this sport with kids. I highly recommend Bot Bash Party if you're looking for something unique, high-energy, and well-run. I'd definitely book again and recommend it to anyone looking for something fun and different! read more

My 9 year old is already asking when us when bot bash can come back for another party or just to play robot battles! From start to finish, it was such an easy process. We had 13 eight and nine-year-old boys, and 1 five year-old little sister. They were all enthralled with the robots and had a blast at the party. I really hope you guys can bring back the summer camp program because it sounds like it was amazing and we would be first in line to participate! read more

We had bought bash party for my son's ninth birthday and it was a huge success. We were looking to mix things up from trampoline parks and jumpy houses and this was perfect. The kids were entertained the whole time and Zach made it a lot of fun for them. Would highly recommend them for a party. My son asked if we can have them back every month read more

We had Zach from Bot Bash Party come out for my son's 9th birthday party and the entire experience was such a hit! The kids had a great time battling with the bots, there was a tournament set up and Zach made it so much fun for everyone. We can't thank Bot Bash Party enough for making the day so memorable for our son and all of his friends. This is such a cool way to introduce kids to the world of STEM and we look forward to working with them again in the future! read more

We hosted a Bot Bash party for a 9th birthday party with 12 boys and girls, and the kids absolutely loved the tournament style activity from start to finish! Leif was so great with the kids; he kept their attention, emphasized good sportsmanship, and managed the party through all the fun chaos! My son keeps talking about it. I will gladly recommend this to other moms in the area. Thanks Bot Bash! read more

Bot Bash hosted an incredible birthday party for my son in Orinda. Diana was truly a rockstar with how she orchestrated friendly robot competition and animated commentary that had all of the parents cracking up laughing and cheering for our energetic kiddos. The kids shook hands after matches, learned about robots, and left wanting more. I just wish Bot Bash had classes, summer camps, and really any other ways to engage our curious kids on these action packed engineering fun activities (that think is just a super fun party). We couldn't be happier. Thank you Bot Bash!! read more

Amazing, that's all. I've had Zach for 2 parties in the last 7 months, and plan to have him over for a 3rd this summer. Can't go wrong.

We had a bot bash party for our son's 8th birthday. It was fantastic - would hire them again in a second. We had 16 second grade boys and Zack did a great job keeping them engaged with tournament style play, team play, and all out battles. He even took on 4 of them at once which was hilarious. He has a variety of types of battle bots with different advantages and disadvantages which he rotates through fairly frequently. The combination of rotating the bits and changing up the format kept the kids engaged for hours. I was very impressed. He emphasized good sportsmanship throughout and was able to make sure everyone has a good time win or lose. read more

This party was fab. They come all ready with table area set up and various robots to bash. The kids get to battle each other and they rotate around who can battle making sure everyone has some battle time and enthusiastic audience. 2 hours of engagement and then they were all ready for food and cake. read more

Bot Bash Party was a great experience from beginning to end. The team was professional, replying to emails quickly and thoroughly. Zach showed up on time and engaged the kids all through the process, including answering lots of questions about Battle Bots and robots in general. He was funny and emphasized sportsmanship and studying science. All the kids had a blast driving the bots -- some adults got in on the action, too. He made sure everyone got three battles, no matter if they won or lost in the tournament. My 11yo son loved every minute of his birthday party. read more

Bot bash is great! Zach is super patient and good with the kids. He let all the kids have practice before the battles officially begin. Those kids who lose in Round1 go to the redemption group so they still have a chance to win the competition. The kids were totally engaged for the entire event. Zach was able to have side events in between the tournament so all kids were able to keep playing and have fun! read more

I have never seen a group of kids so engrossed in something, and they were all having such a great time. Would definitely recommend to anyone. read more

We had a 10 year old bots bash party today and it was amazing. All of the kids were so engaged. The format of the party included explaining how the robots work and narrating the actual battles. The kids already plotting their next party and all of our friends were asking for the Bot Bash contact info for their owne events. Thank you so much! read more

This was such a wonderful party. Zack knows how to entertain!! 6, 11 year old boys, 3 hours! They had such a great time, so did we. Hearing the cheers, the laughs, the comradery- loved it all. Would absolutely recommend this party! read more

Excellent service; hired them for our kids 7th birthday party. A lot of fun plus the service and quality were good.

Ditto for what the previous Reviewer Mark D said about his 9th birthday party. We had my sons 9th birthday party at our house last weekend - 13 boys. I was a bit nervous having some many boys at my house but can say enough - how amazing it was to have Bot Bash there to keep the boys busy for 2 full hours. (party was 10:30 to 1:30pm). In fact, even through the set up they were intrigued and kept asking 'Ethan' our technician questions. The set up was efficient and well-organized. The bots and arena were top notch. Special touch in having a microphone to make it feel really official. And can I say Ethan was amazing! He was so good with keeping the boys energized....making sure everyone got a turn and was accounted for...no one was left out. LOVE that sportsmanship was discussed and taught. Ethan was punctual, professional, and very good with the kids. Thank you Bot Bosh & Ethan for making my son's 9th birthday one of his best parties. read more

This was amazing start to finish. Easy to book, great communication. I've never written a Yelp review before, but I discovered this extremely awesome party idea through Yelp, so I figured it was time for me to pay up with my first review. Zach/Bot Bash put on a SUPER fun party for my 9yo. We couldn't believe how he was able to keep all the kids engaged for the entire duration of the party. He makes it super easy, he's fun, funny, professional, shows up on time, and the kids have an absolute blast battling bots against each other. I couldn't recommend Bot Bash more highly! read more

Zachary absolutely killed it. Kids loved it. Adults wished they could have joined. 15/10 would recommend and host for kids or adults

Bot Bash is an engaging, adrenaline-pumping, and novel idea for a child's party or corporate event. My wife and I chose Zach to host our son's 8th birthday party recently, and all the kids and parents attending our party left excited and happy. The kids not only kept busy battling bots throughout the two-hour session, but they also learned about science. Bot Bash was always fun, never dull, and challenged kids to think about the physics/science behind remote-controlled battling bots. Moreover, Zach is truly a master of ceremonies. He is not only a celebrity in his own right, appearing on a Discovery program for battling bots, but someone we trusted to keep everyone at our party engaged throughout the two-hour presentation, even when our venue had a power outage. He is a true professional and eased us through the various bumps we experienced in hosting our party. Thanks again, Zach, for helping make our son's party so memorable. read more

Zach was fantastic! I was worried about keeping 15 boys all 10 or over interested and there wasn't a question of it once Zach got set up. His commentary on the battles was hilarious and the kids had a great time.. and the dads.. they waited patiently and got their chance too lol! Thank you so much for making this a birthday to remember guys! read more

We had our third bot bash party, so if it isn't an endorsement that my kids keep requesting this for their birthday, I don't know what is. Zach was great as usual (Diana did one of the other three, and was equally fantastic). Organized, and the kids were so happy to get to fight robots with each other. Highly recommend. read more

Great experience for the kids! Zach did a fantastic job of getting all of the kids involved and making sure that everyone had a good time. It was pure action from start to finish with all the kids cheering with delight! And all the while he was able to completely manage the activities without any intervention from the parents. So all we had to do was sit down and enjoy watching our kids and their friends have a blast! Definitely recommend!!! read more

What a fantastic party idea. Our technician did a great job getting all the boys involved and excited. We just had our son's tenth birthday and it was perfect. Zach arrived and set up quickly. He kept control of the 12 kids who were anxious to try, while keeping the bots moving and the game going. The kids stayed engaged. The kids had a great time learning what each one did and the scoring. Highly recommend. If there was a 10 star, they would earn it. Even let the parents have a quick battle at the end! Will definitely be doing this again. Zach's commentary and energy really added to it, and the bots are really cool. The enclosed stadium is very neat and kept the kids safe. read more

So, if you've heard about this party, or seen it at Robot Wars, and you're just not sure if it's going to be a hit, don't worry. We've done this twice, and it's definitely fun. One of the neat things, from a parents perspective, is that Zach has a format that keeps the kids engaged. They're loud, to be sure, but they're all focused on the battles, even when they're not the ones controlling the bot. Zach as a certain charisma that seems to draw the kids attention. The other gratifying thing is that we'll hear the kids talking about the battles, the winners, the bots, etc., for a while afterwards. So, if you're on the fence, go for it. It's really fun and exceptionally well managed. read more

Bot Bash party was a great idea and an even greater event. Zach was amazing with the kids (boys age 7-11) He was kind, patient, helpful, informative, educational and just a lot of fun. Well worth the investment. It was the first time ever, ever that I had a kids party that I was not sweating and the kids didn't get board. We will definitely have Zach back for our next party... maybe for the grown-ups next time. THANK YOU Zach for so much fun Laura, Roly & Ernest Jones read more

We had Bot Bash throw a party for my son's 10th birthday and it was one of the best parties I've ever seen! I highly, highly recommend them. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, kept 11 high energy kids entertained, and were really fun. For Battlebots fans, having an actual Battlebots competitor was awesome. Zach and Alex were amazing trainers, referees, MCs and competitors. Hire these guys, you'll be glad you did! read more

We just had a wonderful experience at Bot Bash for my 13 yr old's party. Zach and Diana are kind, enthusiastic and great at working with the kids. They had all the kids engaged and everyone had a fun time. Their space is welcoming and even has some of the BattleBots from the show on display to check out. We will definitely be looking to take some classes with this crew in the future. read more

I can't say enough about how great Bot Bash is for birthday parties. BOTH of my sons wanted Zach to come out and do their birthdays. He can completely entertain and maintain control of energetic 7 and 9 year-old boys! He was very prompt, brought and setup all the equipment, and made the party unbelievably easy for me. He's also great and emphasizing hard work and good sportsmanship with the boys through the competition. Zach was also very aware of when boys would start veering out of control and helped maintain order during the party. I can't recommend Bot Bash enough and we look forward to next year! read more

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I cannot believe how amazing our Bot Bash Party was!! Thank you!!

Zach was great with the kids and has his process for a two hour event nailed down. He managed our nine year old boys birthday party very well, making it fun for all of the boys and handling wrinkles like late arrivals effortlessly. Playing the announcer with an amplified mic and music is a great touch. He stayed a little while after and did yo-yo tricks. And he's a nice guy to boot. Thanks Zach! read more

Ever have a birthday party so fun that you forgot to open the gifts? That is what Bot Bash is all about. What a fantastic afternoon. The kids (20+ from 9-13) were riveted to the arena for the whole party. We took a break for cake, and at the mere mention of the battles restarting all the kids abandoned their cake and flocked back to the arena. Really? Kids leaving sugar behind??? I cannot say enough about how great this event was. As a parent my entire contribution was laying out one extension cord so they had power. From there on out, I was part of the fun. Orion and company kept the kids entertained (and educated) all afternoon. Everyone had plenty of chances to play and sportsmanship was at the center of everything. There was never a tear, a pout or a frown all day. The boys seemed equally excited to have "taken out" a robot as they did to fall victim to one, "did you see me flip out of the arena?!!!" What was even more incredible to me as a parent was the amazing level of patience. From a half hour before the party when they tried to set up as my son bombarded them with questions and touched everything that came out of the cases until well after the party, I never once heard "Don't touch that." "Be careful with that," was not in thier vocabulary. "Whoa, you destroyed that robot!" They would say gleefully as they replaced it out with another. They had an arsenal of robots and batteries and swapped and charged (and repaired!) so that the whole afternoon ran seamlessly as one continuous thrill ride. They worked so tirelessly that when I brought them pizza and encouraged them to take a break, they refused. Instead they snuck bites of pizza as they kept the battles going and the kids laughing and cheering. Fantastic! I cannot begin to comprehend the hundreds of hours that must go into building and maintaining this fleet of robots. A HUGE thanks to Orion and everyone at Bot Bash for a job well done. As kids were being picked up I heard several begging their parents to do this for their birthday. As they drove down the driveway, my son looked at me and said "can we do this again next year?" Yes, I think we can... heck, I might do it for MY birthday!!!! read more

This is my first time in yelp review and I tried to remember my ID and password to write this review. Anyway, it was a wonderful time for my son and his friends to learn about something special. We had 14 kids in my son's 11th B-day party and they were all so excited in the robot battle. Zack was extremely helpful, entertaining and nice. He also showed the Yo-Yo performance that I had never expected. Thank you Zack for making such a special moment to my son and his friends. I took a very short video to show how it really looks like. I can't say enough about how great Zach, Ethan and folks at Bot Bash Party are to work with. We just finished up my son's 8th birthday party, and my 11 year old daughter declared that this was *the best* party we have ever thrown. The kids were taught how to battle the robots. More importantly there was great emphasis on sportsmanship. All the kids got equal time driving, and were engaged even when they weren't playing. We would enthusiastically recommend this to any one with a kid who loves robots, gaming, science, tech or just good clean fun!!! read more

This was the best birthday party entertainment for our 10 year old and his friends. Zachary was great. He was patient with the kids and was able to keep things moving even with all the crazy questions our kids would ask. The tournament was well run with mini games in between rounds to ensure maximum play for all the kids. Zachary's play by play announcing and score and time keeping kept the whole thing interesting for the spectators and the other kids. While the bots recharged, Zachary took that time to explain how the bots were made and his own experiences in battles that kept the group laughing and engaged. The parents had a great time as well I would highly recommend Bot Bash Party if you are looking to for something creative and fun to do. My son has already asked if Zachary can come back for his party next year. Zachary, thank you so much for making our party so much fun. read more

I - and all my son's 8-10 year old party guests - could not be more happy with Bot Bash. Zach was professional, engaging and entertaining, but not hokey or over the top (I often cringe at kid-focused entertainers)! The kids (and adults) were completely enthralled by the robots and Zach's energy and enthusiasm (and a few expert yoyo tricks) for hours. Along with learning about robots and battling each other in the ring, Zach emphasized good sportsmanship with our guests and teamwork was recognized and rewarded! As soon as Zach and the bots left, my son asked if we could have him back for his next birthday party - Absolutely yes! I highly recommend Bot Bash! read more
