I can't recommend the Fun & Games experts enough. We've used them for family events at our school for years now, and they are so helpful and accommodating. Their inventory is terrific, and each year they add new items to keep it fresh. Our community's favorites are the Mega Extreme Obstacle Course, the inflatable Hippity Hop Horses, and the Giant Trikes. We always get their red and white striped pop-tents, too, for our food booths and game stations. We also hire their crew to staff the jump houses and they're always kind, patient, and professional. It's clearly a family run company because they treat us like really valued customers and go above and beyond to make our events special. The fun and experts have it all. We have attended events they were at a few times now. I have seen so many different fun and games things they have. At one event they had a gold mining thing. A very cool spinning ride was also bringing smiles from kids and adults alike! Cotton candy machines and the dunk tank is very cool! The train and the tons and tons of party ideas. We used the Fun and Games Experts to provide games and inflatables for our Corporate Picnic that honored all of the employees and their families at our Construction Company, D-Line Constructors. It was about 150 people at Rowell Ranch in Castro Valley. Their crew showed up early ready to set-up and map all the items out in the Kids Activity Zone so that everything was up and running before the event started. Daniel and Amanda had great communication and organization. We're definitely going to be using them again and getting a lot more fun items. I picked up a cotton candy machine on Friday afternoon and everyone there were so nice. The owner (Eric) is super nice and showed me how to set up the machine. Backyard Carnivals made a HUGE impression on our company BBQ! We went with the Midway Package "Classic PKG B" with the Red/White Carnival Canopies. We had so many people walk up to our event asking how they can book an event. They were on time and professional. Friendly staff, and they have a great selection of fun games etc for your event. We used them for our children's party at our church. They were really busy that night, so I had to come and pick it up myself (it's usually customary to have items dropped off), but they let me come at my convenience and drop it off the same way. It is a bit pricy compared to other places I've seen such as bay area jump, but the staff is more educated and helpful. I rented the kid's striker, and it was a big hit no pun intended. I only wish that there was a place where it was a bit more affordable. Glancing inside their warehouse I saw many items that would be great fun and entertainment for any carnival party. read more

I can't rave enough about Backyard Carnival Games! I hosted a company picnic for about 150 people including children-the event was a success! Let's start with Eric (the owner) who is fantastic, from the start he was communicative, answered my every question and listened to my budget needs. Amanda who works along side of Eric was also great. She emailed me the week before the event to confirm the details and told me Daniel (who is fabulous) would be my main contact on the day of. The day of the event I was stressed which is normal but when I got to our venue, Daniel and the team was there early, not only were they ready to set up they were also willing to assist me with my set up (definitely a stress reliever). The set up of the canopies, carnival games, snow cone & cotton candy machines and bounce house was a lot of work for them but they were efficient with their time which led to our event beginning right on schedule. The kids and adults had a great time and were entertained throughout the day. A variety of activities for people of all ages! A huge thank you to Eric, Daniel and the team! The Danville fine art festival was a wonderful experience this weekend. Thanks to the city chamber and citizens for including us! Cyrus, Genesys and I felt honored to be there and received extreme appreciation while working this event, despite the heat of the days. Our water bobbles attraction, which is extremely new aged and unknown created several unforgettable moments. Even with the extreme drought conditions I would like to remind all that the water required to operate this attraction was shipped in from an independent well. Although it took several hours, I remained behind and pumped all of the water into the surrounding landscape, contributing to our eco-friendly business plan. read more

We had a GREAT experience with Backyard Carnivals. It was our first ever bouncy house rental and we will definitely be using Backyard Carnivals again! Eric was so responsive, really went over and above to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. He answered my bazillion questions and worked with the insane restrictions of the East Bay Regional Parks to be on their very short preferred provider list. They showed up on time, set up early, included the most AWESOME staff person, Michael, to be there supervising all day, and picked up on time, with total professionalism the whole way. We loved our jumpy house, and Michael was GREAT with the kids and with all our guests. From reservations to the day of the event, this company went above and beyond to deliver the best service ever. Eric Sossamon (owner) was extremely pleasant, personable, professional, and accommodating. Being in the business for 25 years, he knows the ins and outs of his craft, and was helpful to give me suggestions for other vendors I needed for our event. We rented his Kids Gym jumper and he met me on-sight weeks before to chat and to measure the facility to make sure it would fit. He said it was big...I had no idea it was 2 stories high and 30 feet wide...it was huge! This was obviously a tremendous hit at our party; it was a petting zoo party, but the jumper totally overshadowed the petting zoo which was totally fine with me. Parents were pleased taking home their over-excercised kids. It made our party a total success. Eric will undoubtedly be our go-to vendor for anything carnival in the future. read more

Eric and his team are awesome. We use them for our big annual festival. They are good helping select the right activities to fit a variety of ages and interests. Their staff makes sure everyone has fun and yet is safe. The climing wall and gold mining game are always a big hit. This year the little ones really enjoyed the giant dump truck. Oh my goodness did we have a great event thanks in large part to Backyard Carnivals. We organized a internal celebration for a new product launch for 600 employees. Eric and Amanda were really responsive to my inquiries and we had everything booked within a day. We rented their carnival booths which we created our own games related to our new product. We also rented the Bungee Run, Big Splash and Big Trikes. Eric was the one to suggest the Big Trikes and I am so glad he did, loved them!
