I cannot day enough amazing things about patches!!! This was the second year in a row we had him at our daughters birthday and he was amazing! The kids loved the train and bubbles and patches! I appreciate that patches takes extra care to ensure the surprise. The train is set up out of sight and arrives at the front door fully assembled and ready to go! Patches was very accommodating, calm and kind! The kids loved it! Absolutely recommend him again and again!!

My 1 year old loving the ride! Such a special surprise when bubbles started floating from front to back!

The Kids Train was such a hit! Patches was so easy to work with. I was a little worried there was no official contract but Patches confirmed ahead of time and kept to the date and time set without any issues. It was such a magical moment for the kids when we saw and heard the train pull up in front of the house. The train rides themselves were so fun and it was such a great surprise when bubbles started floating from the front of the train to the back. The kids were in awe and the adults had fun too! The neighbors started gathering and taking pictures and video too. It was a perfect activity for our train themed first birthday party! I would highly recommend the Kids Train for any child event! What fun!

Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making the entire experience feel truly special. Denise & staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests felt welcomed, especially by carefully accommodating our gluten-free guests' dietary needs while still maintaining the same level of quality, presentation, and delicious flavors. It was amazing to see that no detail was overlooked. The tea, food, and overall experience were wonderful, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how lovely everything was. The bride truly felt celebrated like a princess, like she was in her own little fairytale. Thank you Denise for helping us create such a memorable day. Your attention to detail, hospitality, and dedication made this bridal shower unforgettable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host a beautiful and meaningful celebration!

I attended a bridal shower where she created an unnecessary scene by yelling at two guests over their children's seating arrangements. It made everyone uncomfortable and took away from what should have been a joyful celebration. Throughout the event, every reasonable request was met with resistance, as she repeatedly insisted having things her way rather than trying to accommodate the guests. As the owner of an event venue, creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing good customer service should be a priority. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this venue.

We hired her for our wedding reception, my husband didn't want me to do anything for the reception, he told me to find someone to do it for us. Well I found Cindy, we sat down with her and in 5 minutes I knew she was the right person for our reception. We told her we would like to have a "Western theme" she took the reins () and ran with the idea. Next thing we knew we had the best "Upscale" BBQ for 80 people one could ask for And as advertised with love.cook.nourish, Cindy made our wedding cake also, Very Banana with Cream Cheese frosting and two different flavors of cupcakes for our guest What a fantastic night we all had Thank You Cindy and Staff at LCN

I have never hired a caterer for myself because I simply don't trust anyone else to cook for my guests - until now! This occasion was special - my wife and I were throwing our daughter an engagement party for about 70 people. Thank goodness I hired Cindy! Forget the fact there is no way I could have done this on my own for that many people anyway - but what really made the event was the fact she was beyond the ultimate professional she was a better version of me (sorry not trying to brag - just stating facts). She was incredibly prepared (and brought her daughter Ronnie who was an amazing help as well!). She knew her way around my grill as if it was her own. She brought all the right tools and gadgets to ensure every dish came out perfect - which ALL of them did! And she even took the tails off the 10 lbs of shrimp I had mistakingly ordered - in literally minutes - incredible! Everything was cooked, grilled and presented with absolute perfection. Last night was the start of something special between my family and love.cook.nourish. Cindy is now the only person I will trust going forward and is now unofficially an adopted member of our family or should I say my sister from another mother... Love.cook.nourish is hands down the best caterer for your event or party - regardless of how complex or simple, you want to make it! And if you have read this far you better get going and contact her quickly for your party because she is going to be in the highest demand as word gets out about this gem! PS - feel free to reach out to me for more specifics if you wish - always happy to share more details.

I think the problem is that I couldn't get past the lack of a restroom in the area. They had some portables, but they are making food and we are supposed to eat it. Where are they washing their hands? This area is also pretty cold so if you go, make sure that you have a coat, scarf and hat. I'll never make that mistake again. But because of the cold, I didn't want to eat outside so our food got a cold, but it was good. My husband liked the food he got, but gluten free options are super limited. They get a third star because of the bar! Now there was only one person working there and that's fine because he could go get a snack or something and come back to pour drinks, but again. The restroom issue. Where does he wash his hands, what if he has a cold and sneezes into them, and so on. That's where my mind went. The vendors are quite nice and were helpful and weren't mean when they answered my GF questions and I appreciate that. So, this is like the little engine that could. I can see that it is a gathering spot for people and they have music and speakers which is cool. So I saw and felt a community vibe and people really seemed to like going. If I lived in the area, I may try it a bit more, but in all honestly, Oakland Museum's Off the Grid event is everything I wish this was. I'm sure that they will get there, but don't want to hang out while they figure it out.
